I engaged Coles Miller to sort out a will trust. All I can say is that everyone I dealt with was ultra-professional, quick to respond and courteous.

I really appreciated their proactive approach in pushing the opposing legal team to take any necessary action to keep my case moving forward and on track.

I would particularly like to congratulate Lucy Hingston and her secretary, Sue, who were fantastic, as well as Anthony Webber, who heads the Wills and Probate department.

have written this review from my own perspective as the client, as Coles Miller do not appear to accept my daughter's review of our experience, which I have included below. You have asked for a review from the client, so I am writing one. I feel it is important that my own experience and the way I was treated are heard. Clearly, your response below speaks volumes in itself.

I was very disappointed with the service I received from Coles Miller Solicitors when I attended an appointment to discuss making my will.

Having reached a stage in life where making sure my affairs are in order is important to me, I wanted a solicitor who would listen to my wishes, offer sound advice and treat me with courtesy and respect. Sadly, this was not my experience.

The appointment started 15 minutes late, and when I arrived, there was no handshake or even a particularly welcoming greeting. I appreciate that people have busy schedules, but I do believe that common courtesy and good manners still matter, especially when dealing with clients on such a personal matter.

During the appointment, I felt the solicitor became frustrated when I was unable to recall certain information immediately. I am an older gentleman, and I do not believe it is unreasonable to expect a little patience and understanding in these circumstances. I was there for professional guidance, not to feel as though I was being a nuisance for not remembering every detail on the spot.

What disappointed me most was that I did not feel my wishes were being listened to or properly considered. When I tried to explain what I wanted and make my requests clear, I felt dismissed, and the solicitor ultimately refused to listen to what I was asking for. Making a will is a serious and personal matter, and I simply wanted to ensure that my wishes were understood and respected.

I left the appointment feeling very let down. I had expected a professional service delivered with a degree of care, patience and consideration, but unfortunately, that was not what I received.

Thankfully, I subsequently approached Steele Raymond, and the difference was remarkable. They treated me with courtesy and respect, took the time to listen and dealt with my matter in a thoroughly professional and caring manner. They restored my confidence in what a solicitor's service should be.

I would strongly advise anyone looking to make a will to consider their options carefully before choosing Coles Miller. In my opinion, when dealing with something as important as your final wishes, you deserve to be treated with dignity, listened to properly and given the time and attention you require.

Sadly, I cannot say that Coles Miller provided me with that service.

Proffessional, understanding and compassionate kind staff

I recently made a will with Coles and Miller in Bournemouth. I was treated with the utmost patience, kindness, professionalism and expertise. Jasmine Payne helped me to write my will. She was understanding, kind and gave me invaluable advice. I am very grateful for this and highly recommend her. Customer service has been excellent from start to finish.

I enguired if my will was properly signed? which you had written 12?years earlier for me! Despite veryfying it was, you were Eager to update it, although my circumstances had not changed!! for a fee of £200.00 totally unneccessaryly!!!

Friendly and took time to explain everything

Very helpful and kept me informed all all stages during my conveyancing matter.

I found out that Coles Miller were offering will writing through the Free Wills network (having in fact used Coles Miller in Bournemouth for a lease extension a few years ago). I found Julie in the Poole office to be very kind, clear and helpful through a process that could have been quite difficult. There were a few adjustments needed after the first draft, and Julie was happy to incorporate those. Would definitely recommend their services.

They were professional and compassionate to my circumstances and got my Will finished very quickly. Their offices are local so I was able to travel with ease. I would certainly look at using them again and recommending them to others

Lianne was amazing and I'm so happy we chose her. She was efficient, courteous, answered all our questions and kept us in the loop at all times. We had complicated Land Registry issues with the the house we were selling and buying and she dealt with both brilliantly. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Coles Miller Solicitors
for their outstanding service in handling my medical negligence claim
against the NHS. After a botched appendix operation left me in and out
of hospital for over a year, it was eventually discovered that not all
of my appendix had been removed – a shocking oversight that seriously
impacted my health and quality of life.

From the very beginning, David Simpson at Coles Miller was incredibly
supportive and professional. His expertise and dedication ensured that
I received the best possible advice and access to top medical
consultants to support my claim. David guided me through every stage
of the process with care and clarity, making a very difficult time
much easier to cope with.

successful resolution to my claim. I cannot thank them enough for

Although I had my Will with another company in Poole, it needed urgent updating so much so that I decided to get a new Will. I spent much time investigating various companies and reading reviews which resulted in meeting with Marie Harder at the Poole office. Marie was excellent and answered all my questions and suggested a Trust for my daughter who suffers with a serious mental health condition. I was going into hospital in the next 2 weeks so need my new Will and Trust quickly. Again Marie worked with me to get both finished on time. I am so grateful to Marie for her speed, understanding, advice and professionalism. Many thanks.
