We purchased a stairlift what was delivered was a lift with extra's we have not asked for. Since then multiple phon calls later it is still not resolved. They insist on the items you dont need, despite their engineers on site telling them. Also every time you spoke with someone you have to go back and explain from the begining. Also When they say they will call you back, it never happens. It seems departments do not talk to each other. A classical example was an operative called Chris, who spoke with us, saying he would call back straigh away and never did. Yet again left in limbo. They call to apologise you expain agian from begining and they say sorry we wont disturb you yet 3 minutes later they disturb and suggest calender people will call back and arrange a replacement but no time scale given, assuming if you need a chair you are an old person and can be intimidated or pushed around. What they dont realise is age equals wisdom and we have seen and dealt with these kind of issues before they were born.

My dad had a stairlift installed and there were no issues with installation or the use of it.
What lets them down is the lack of response when asking them to remove it. I wouldn't mind, but they wrote to my dad informing him that they offer a free removal service once the stairlift is no longer required. After he passed away, I found that letter in his possessions. I phoned twice to request the removal; each time I was told someone would call me back. That never happened. I have now emailed them, at the email address on the letter that THEY sent TO my Dad - still no response.

Site/ demo was very informative, answered all questions that I had. Installation was very efficient and stairs space felt clean and tidy, the installer also gave good account of the working of the stairlife.

A good service all round. The price paid was as I expected as my staircase has two left turns going up. Technician took about three hours to install and was very competent .The only negative is I was asked if I could recycle the packaging in my bins. Bad idea to say yes, There was loads to deal with which needed separating. Took ages to sort out.

Not happy , really hard to get service done every year it gets pushed on another month so really we aren't paying for a year. Some engineers are rude , and to top it off as my mum has had to now go in a care home they are charging £300 to take it down , as if things are hard enough.

Delivery and installation of the stair lift was made on time and we were kept informed of the status.
Installation was carried out without any issues and my elderly parents were very happy with how the work was done.
The lift is operating very well.

The company was helpful, truthful and friendly. Everything that they promised to happen happened and the engineers were the nicest couple of guys you could meet and put up with my stupid questions. Arrived on time and finished on time with minimum mess and disruption.

Your engineer arrived on time, he was helpful and informative. Carefully explained everything to me & by the time he left I was whizzing up & down like an expert !! Companion stairlifts did everything they promised within the time frame. My life is so much easier now. Thankyou. x

The reason why I gave a 10out of 10 was because of the service I got from you was very simple to understand and that we believe that we were sent a very good engineer who was able to make the installing and explaining how all systems work, Easy for my wife and myself to understand thank you very much for looking after us so well the product was of a very good quality and we are very pleased with it with the new hinge that really works well. Great service, one week from ringing to installation. Simon came and did the survey and Craig was excellent and professional too.

Good to deal with and excellent installation

The gentleman for the first consultation was great, very helpful and thorough.Took measurements for installation,measurements of me to have the chair made especially for me. The chair lift came very quickly and was installed excellently. I wish I had it earlier, it makes life so much easier. I would recommend it to any one.

From the initial visit to the survey, delivery and installation all went really smoothly. Daniel the first man to visit explained everything in great detail. I managed this all for my Mother as she is 90 and easily gets confused. I must say that everything was handled in a professional way from start to finish.

From the original contact with Jade the service was efficient and prompt, Jade was easy to talk to and helpful. The survey was completed by Sacha who was a credit to the company, a pleasure to have her in our home. The fitters Andy and Chris were on time, pleasant, efficient and explained how the stairlift operates. An excellent service from start to finish, thank you.

From the very start I felt that I was treated as a valued customer. Everything was explained in detail and my questions were answered to my satisfaction. No pressure was put on me to have the stair lift but felt at the end of the visit that your stair lift was exactly what I wanted. When the engineer called to install, he was very professional, friendly, knew exactly what he was doing and went over and above to make sure that I was happy with the instructions he gave me and the installation. Your team are a credit to you and because of them I cannot recommend your Company enough.

Salesmen Tom and Albert were knowledgeable and friendly. They were really accommodating and put us at ease. There was no hard sell. After deciding on Companion for the stairlift it was fitted within a week. All staff were brilliant and answered any queries we had. The fitter was brilliant. Respectful but we also had a good laugh. Scot fitted it within 3 hours. A good experience all round.

Companion Stairlifts turned out to be completely dependable, in every way. I cannot fault them on any one thing. The young man who installed y lift was precise, clean and uncomplicated. All in all I was impressed with the whole experience.
