Congrapps review

Congrapps has been a great resource for me when writing applications. By providing examples of those applications which have succeeded, I have been able to adjust my own style and thus be more successful overall. The system on which Congrapps operate is very simple to use and encourages you to submit successful applications of your own to help you unlock other ones. Overall, I would reccommend Congrapps to anyone who wants to better their applications

The legal resource every prospective Trainee needs

One of the biggest frustrations I had was finding ways to describe firms when everybody talks about the firms the same. That was until I found out about Congrapps. I was able to see insight into how people tailored their applications and even find out things about firms that I otherwise would not have known. Even something as simple as sentence and paragraph structures, and ideas of suitable examples are great. This is an amazing resource.

Excellent website

Excellent website that helps students understand what makes an application stand out and how to approach certain application questions. The cost is perhaps too high, however this is not an issue since candidates can upload their own successful applications to receive credits.

Truly amazing platform to understand Cover Letters!

The platform was extremely useful for me to be able to understand what was required for me when producing my own cover letters. They provide an easy to use site in which you can find a cover letter type that suits the job or industry you are targeting! I was honestly lost with even how to begin my own cover letter but Congrapps provided useful guidance and benefits for me to secure my desired internship within banking in the UK!

Waste of money - Next City Lawyer better value

Waste of money. The application I chose looked mediocre (typos / no structure) and no idea how it got the person an interview. I then bought an application from Next City Lawyer and it was way better value (i.e. actual commentary given so I learned how to write apps on my own). Copy/pasting from a sub-par Congrapps app isn't very useful...

Hi there,

We are very sorry to hear about your negative experience. The applications on our website pass numerous tests to verify their authenticity and that they are indeed successful. We are very strict on that front. Please email us at info@congrapps.com and we will issue a refund.

We would also like to use this as an opportunity to stress that we actively discourage people from copying and pasting. While we think it is rather intuitive that this can lead to rejection, we take drastic action to mitigate this temptation by having prominent disclaimers on our main product area as well as completely removing the possibility to copy our content. The copy option simply does not work in the application page of our website. We thought about this extensively, consulted with career advisors and did everything we practically and programmatically can to stop this behaviour.

Regarding the quality of our content, and having viewed hundreds of verified successful applications, I can personally guarantee that all successful applications are unique in their own way. Myself, for example, landed a highly competitive legal internship with two typos in my application. While typos will most likely lead to rejection, there might be exceptions and I can produce actual proof upon request that applications are reviewed holistically and each candidate is assessed on his/her own merits. Please do not interpret my personal experience the wrong way. I just used it as an example. This is not advice.

To conclude, we believe there is no golden formula and our value as a website lies on the provision of comparative, unbiased and objective information. While other services choose to comment and advise, we only give objective information straight from the source. Anything else is just the view of the author/career consultant and thus subjective. To this end we focus on having a database with 550+ past successful applications while other platforms may have 20-30. From a pricing point of view we are also against expensive packages in the hundreds of pounds (e.g. the website you mentioned). Instead, we provide exhaustive interview experiences that help candidates contextualise their research and gain unique insights.

Now our job is simple. We onboard your feedback, listen to all our clients and improve our offering hoping to increase the value we offer to students and recent graduates.
