I absolutely LOVE this scarf from Contrado!!
It was the perfect Valentines Day gift for my partner. The pictures are of her 1st-3rd grader's watercolor painting project taught by my partner. She actually cried when she opened the scarf and figured out what it was. The silk is high quality so the design has a little sparkle to it. Thanks so much for making this possible, and quickly, too!

Initially, I had some trouble with muted colors and rough material when I received my custom printed Sateen duvet cover and pillow cases.

When I was able to get in contact with Contrado, they not only replaced/reprinted my order free of charge, but the customer representative also gave me some information on how prints should come out on polycotton vs sateen. After they finished the prints they speed shipped it to me (got it all the way from the UK in 2 days!). Thank you guys, I am happy with the replacements!

One tip to everyone out there. If you are ordering custom printed fabric for either bedding or clothing, I would recommend the Polycotton since it has a softer feel and more vibrant colors than the Sateen I first ordered.

Wonderful product as always. I use Contrado's fabric printing for wedding seating charts, bar signs and welcome signs and usually have quick turnaround times. Contrado always does their best to get my product to me by the requested due date. The printing is clean and crisp and the fabric itself is great quality!

I was so excited about this company when I first came across them but their quality of products is not the same across the board. Especially for the pricing and their customer service is the worst I have ever came across.

Here’s what happened. I ordered a sample wallet. Leather great. Took it out of the bag to photographed for marketing. Put it back in the bag and noticed dings on the crappy hardware AND MAJOR tarnish on the zipper. So I reached out asking if they had better materials for their hardware to match the quality of the leather. Their response…. We only offer the highest quality products… we checked with our team and we quality check everything before it goes out. We can offer you a 20% off discount.

First of all you didn’t quality check because this is what I received. Second, I sent you pictures of it and the order number less than a week old. So only the highest quality materials are meant to tarnish, rust and be so soft they ding in a week and with one use ( not even use….. Just taken out of the bag and photographed)… ? Not even Claire’s jewelry does that. THEN if you look at their OWN PRODUCT DEMO PHOTOS on their OWN website and zoom in multiple pictures on their OWN website featuring their OWN products have tarnish on the hardware! I mean come on. But they won’t even own up to it and blame it on me.

I loved their pillows but I don’t trust their quality checking process obviously and would have to order each one in to quality check myself, then ship out AND then if I had an issue have the blame put on me ( the client ) and lose money because they don’t even offer to replace… only a 20% discount.

I care deeply about the quality of products I offer and customer service with my business and it seems if I worked with them this would go down hill fast. NOT A LUXURY company at all.

Stay FAR AWAY if you care about your own customers experience.

Contrado's customer service is excellent. They were quick to reply, made sure the product was how I wanted it, and got me my products two days before my requested deadline. I've only custom printed one item, but the quality was good and I look forward to using them in the future.

I’m really disheartened with my interaction with Contrado.

I was looking for a company to get custom printed fabric made for a realized fashion design for one of my final projects in College. This concept can not be completed without this printed fabric, and I’m under a serious time crunch. I ordered nearly six yards of printed cotton twill, and all if which the detail in the darker areas of my print was completely lost. I was willing to accept this as just something to accept with how fabric printing works, but I then realize that there is a huge smudge of extremely visible black ink across the focal point of both of my prints, rendering the fabric completely unacceptable. I reached out to the Contrado Team via email, and have yet to receive a reply. I then tried utilizing their contact forum via their website, only for it to request I log in. I log in, and it only requires I log in once again (and again). I then tried using the unregistered route by giving my email for a live chat (even though I have an account with Contrado) and was met with a live agent, who was seemingly very helpful and attentive. I told her of both the printing details lost and a huge black smudge, and she informed me that BOTH of these qualities of my print were important errors, and could be mended with solutions after further investigation. She took my email, and said she would get back with me very quickly with a variety of options. I still have not received any email back, which I understand is a matter of patience! However, I’ve decided to try and chat with an agent through their website like I did before. The problem persists with their login request through the chat box being dysfunctional, so I continued once again as an unregistered user. The system tells me my order details cannot be found, and That no live agents are available over the span of hours.

If I were to receive a reply, or at least a suggestion of a solution, my opinion of Contrado would flip immediately, and I would continue with their service, but as it stands, I would look for other options.

I do however, greatly appreciate their free swatch packs (excluding shipping) and student discounts. However, the product quality is what matters most. To receive a product that barely holds the integrity of the design to be executed as promised, is unacceptable.

UPDATE:

Shortly after my experiences with the two Live Agents, I actually received both an e-mail and phone-call to truly address the circumstances of the faulty prints, and who I assume to be supervisors both helped me with correcting the image, and assured my the fabrics would be reprinted with quality inspection to guarantee an overall satisfying experience. They even offered to send me an image of a sample to make sure that the product is certainly satisfactory, and asked when I would need it by so my time constraints can be met.

As a very experimental artist trying to develop my craft, I’ve worked with a variety of companies to achieve various custom textiles, and have had a few faulty products, but I’ve never received such a caring and remedying call to aid an unfortunate experience. My faith in Contrado is for the most part restored, and I hope I can come back to give a final update on an extremely satisfactory fabric.

Contrado is a very professional print on demand company. Beautiful products. Very helpful chats. All my designs look outstanding on their fabrications.

I ordered the silk scarf for my daughter with custom design from one of her paintings. Because the size didn’t fit to the standard size, Contrado worked with me and helped me create the scarf that I wanted. Especially Faizan and Bhargav answered all my questions and concerns and even offered to print sample that I could see final product. And one more big plus how fast they printed the scarf. Great company and big thank you!

Ordered some personalized masks as a gift. Quality of masks is far superior to most of the other "create your own" sites out there, and production and shipping took a total of 3 business days to receive them from across the pond.

I'm new to print on demand and I have had a competitor's print Contrado was far superior in packaging, color, quality and delivery. I'm ordering everything I am working on with Contrado.

We have been using Contrado for several years now. It is nice to have quality items available for high-end artwork! They will notify you of any errors before you decide to sell online. They will email, call, and confirm your creations are ready to go. Fabric selections are perfect for what we like to create! They are a great learning experience if you as an artist want to expand your creative horizons. As I designed it.. that is exactly what I get. Clients are very happy with the color arrangements as well!

I’m a visual arts student and created repeat pattern designs for my senior show. I ordered my patterns on silk fabric and they look amazing. I’m planning on ordering more because I love them so much. Colors are accurate and line edges are perfect.

Nicely printed pix on very sheer fabric, good assistance & delivery. But then I wanted to make an order where I wanted to print near the woven edge of the fabric, and asked whether this was going to work. I simply could not get it across to the cust svc rep, no matter how many ways I explained it. How can a person working in fabric not know the term "selvage"??

Extremely fast delivery from London to the US, the picture panel I ordered was of significant quality, very fair pricing, and they even shipped me one extra free of charge! I will 100% use this company again in the future when needed!
