Lovely experience at Cosmedicare. All staff I came into contact with were friendly and approachable. My surgeon Mr Cahoon has done a beautiful job and I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone. I would not hesitate to recommend Cosmedicare to anyone who is considering a cosmetic procedure in the future.

Had a combined breast uplift/augmentation and extended tummy tuck in February. Care was excellent from the start and still on going. Gill and the team go above and beyond and are always very responsive. Dan Widdowson as a surgeon has done an amazing job and even at this early stage I couldn’t be happier with my result. A few healing niggles along the way which is to be expected but all responded to and cared for by the lovely nurses. I have also had amazing aftercare by the lovely Gabi who has been doing post op lymphatic drainage massages and scar care for me. I was literally sitting in Spain in a bikini 5 weeks post op feeling like a million dollars. Highly recommend

I recently visited Cosmedicare Glasgow to get a gastric balloon fitted and cannot fault the staff in any way. They were all very welcoming and supportive in my journey. I was made feel very comfortable and was informed every step. I had follow up meetings with the nurse very regularly and had a support number I could call if needed. I would recommend Cosmedicare to anyone looking for private treatment.

I first went to Cosmedicare in 2018 to discuss upper eyelid surgery. The girls & surgeon were so nice and made me feel very comfortable. No pressure I decided to go ahead with the surgery and omg what a difference in my eyes. I had such a good experience I decided to choose them again for my tummy tuck in 2021 - Now this surgery was a game changer! The results were absolutely amazing. The operation, the care in the hospital, the aftercare everything was fantastic. I couldn’t recommend Cosmedicare enough. If you are thinking about surgery please speak to these angels first x

Over the past 6 years, I have had a tummy tuck with Dr Widdowson, a minor revision on that surgery and a breast reduction with Dr Bahia. One surgery in Kings Park, one in the Edinburgh clinic and one in St.Ellens Livingston. The level of care in all settings was second to none. I’m now using cosmedicare for weight management treatment and again the level of support is more than I’ve seen anyone else receiving elsewhere. Gill, the owner of cosmedicare is so personable and is always available to chat which again I don’t think you get elsewhere. The nurses are all so kind and you feel well looked after the second you walk into any of the cosmedicare buildings. I would always opt to go with them for any private medical requirements.

Amazing from point of contact. I had also spoken with the owner, Gill, who has been a tower of support. My surgeon, Mr. Raine was very informative and honest. I felt in safe hands. My surgery went according to plan. The aftercare, I couldn’t fault. The nurses seen me extra due to my own panic. They were also there to chat to out of hours. I cannot recommend Cosmedicare enough. They have literally transformed my life. My procedure was bilateral double mastectomy (top surgery) as a transgender man. The way it was handled was very sensitive and positive regarding ensuring my needs and discretion were met.

I had an Allurion Balloon in March 2024 and I can’t tell you how fantastic the team at cosmedicare were with me!!! I was so well looked after and everyone was so lovely from the minute I walked through the door. I was quite sick for several days and the team couldn’t have been more supportive! Daily check ins, advice. They were great with me. I went in weighing 16st 10lbs and a year later I’m 12st 6lbs. They give you all the information and tools to better yourself and now I’m on the right track and in a healthy happy mindset. I couldn’t have been looked after better. Fantastic!!!!!!

I enquires to ask advice regarding a tummy tuck and was very apprehensive at the start. I felt very un sure when having to send in images for review however Gill has a world of knowledge and understanding. Not only did I have a detailed online consultation but she absolutely put my mind at ease. Cosmedicare has a real reputation for its abundance of knowledge within the industry and this is why I choose to enquire with them. Armed with my price and an abundance of information I feel confident in returning to have treatment done when the time is right. I also would love to add that at no time have I felt any pressure or hurry when enquiring. My questions where answered and time was spent on my enquiry even when letting them know in advance that I wasn’t in a position straight away to continue. Thank you team.

I underwent a gastric sleeve last year at cosmedicare St Ellen's. From the minute I spoke to Julie I felt in safe hands, she was able to answer all of my questions throughout the full process and keep me updated. Following a telephone consultation with Mr Shearer and a health screening over the phone by the nurse I then seen Amy at pre op who was amazing and so caring. As a nurse myself I felt so anxious being on the opposite side and receiving care but honestly the full team put me so ease. I had my surgery with Mr Shearer, he was amazing and without him and the team I would still be overweight, exhausted dreading another summer approaching having to hide in baggy clothing. Jade was also there to support me in recovery and couldn't have been any kinder.

Now onto the main woman herself .. Gill. The brains and beauty behind it all! Gill has quite simply changed my life, she gave me such an amazing opportunity and I will be forever in debt to her. Gill is very visible on all social media platforms and I think as a private company that's extremely important as you see the hard work and dedication towards her company. Gill is always there to answer any questions and provide support to others online which is invaluable to many following surgery when your feeling vulnerable and don't want to call the hospital for advice etc.

St Ellen's hospital was immaculate and I would highly recommend having surgery at cosmedicare to anyone who is considering it.

Thanks to all at Cosmedicare .. I have no doubt I'll be back in the future for further surgery as I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

An absolutely fantastic company with even better staff. The owner takes the time to meet as many patients as she can and is always educating herself on all surgeries which take place within her hospital. From the minute you enter either of the hospitals you instantly feel at home and like you’re part of the Cosmedicare family. You are given support from the moment of your first consultation and all the way through your surgery/treatment journey with them. They are also an extremely inclusive company who openly care and support the LGBTQIA + community with treatment options and their employed psychiatrist is always involved in all gender care and treatment options, making you feel even more assured in the company’s attention to detail and putting the patients wellbeing and safety above all else. I genuinely cannot recommend this company enough or sing their praises enough. If you are able to or fortunate enough to want private care & surgery, THIS is the company you want to speak with. Side note : the company also runs their own trust which helps the less fortunate get the surgeries or treatments they have been waiting on for a long time, this includes but is not limited to, gallbladder removal, gender affirming surgery, knee surgery and hysterectomies. Overall it’s 10 out of 10 across the board for me.

I am now one year post-gastric sleeve surgery at Cosmedicare. My experience throughout the entire process was both informative and supportive. Given my pre-existing cardiac condition, there were some concerns about the surgery, but the Cosmedicare team carried out all the required pre-operative evaluations to ensure my safety. The aftercare has been equally impressive, with consistent follow-up calls from my surgeon and the bariatric nursing team. I'm still seeing a dietitian and will continue to have regular check-ups until I reach two years post-surgery.

Would highly recommend cosmedicare for this surgery!

I have been posting updates and pics of my eyes on the Cosmedicare Facebook group to date. I had my upper and lower Blephs done with Mr Will Anderson about two months ago and waited to see the results before writing this review.
The procedure was done under local anaesthetic and literally painless. The results have surpassed my expectation and taken years off my looks. The unexpected bonus was that my peripheral visions had also improved. The aftercare has been seamless and I recommend Cosmedicare to anyone considering any type of surgery.

I have recently just had my breast reduction surgery in livingstone with Mr Anderson and I am currently day 4 and I am overwhelmed with my journey. I am healing wonderfully and I have had great service from the team since my first appointment of interest. The team reply within the hour and I've had a great experience. I have had a few procedures at Edinburgh and then Livingstone. All staff were very professional and aftercare and advice was great. It felt very friendly but professional at the same time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thanks team

Iv had two surgeries with Daniel Widdowson at Cosmedicare in Livingston.

Let’s start with the positive one - I had implant replacement and uplift. The team from start to finish were great and I am pleased with the outcome of the surgery. I got exactly what I wanted, shape and size wise, the scarring has also healed well and I felt listened too as well.

Now, the not so positive surgery - I had a full tummy tuck and muscle repair (?) I add the “?” as I still have a rounded profile, the excess skin was removed but my tummy doesn’t look flat. My scaring is also unsatisfactory - I have had several surgeries and ALWAYS heal well. Two + years on I still had a very prominent scar round my belly button which resulted in me having to get a tattoo. The main incision line (now three years in) has eventually faded at the sides but still red in the middle. Other ladies in the FB group have also aired similar concerns.

Overall the care before, during and after the initial period after surgery was excellent. However, when discussing my concerns about the scaring I was not offered further treatment and told that massaging x2 per day would be the only way to help. I was then discharged at the two year post op mark.

After spending around £15k I would have hoped to have had more support with the unsatisfactory result of my tummy tuck procedure.

Wonderful experience would do it all again with less worry next time as just all round nice experience which I worried about for ten years prior to it.Gus not sure of his job title put me at ease about the GA and made me laugh about his band didn’t even think about what was going on!
