Based on my experience, I would not recommend this solicitor. I found their fees to be excessive in relation to the level of service provided, and I did not feel they represented my interests as robustly as expected. Communication and overall support throughout the process were also disappointing. I would advise others to carefully consider their options before instructing this firm.

We bought and sold using Cullimore Dutton. They were truly excellent. Highly responsive online, by phone and on one or two occasions when we needed it, face to face. Kara and Owain especially stood out in their support for us, but everyone was polite, kind, speedy and had answers. We will use the Cullimore Dutton team again for other needs. Thoroughly recommend!

Very expensive to use, got charged extra when documents got lost in the post which was beyond my control. House sale got delayed because they failed to notice a crucial matter earlier on. Not the same company it was years ago.

I have used CD a number of times throughout my life. The overall experience has been a little mixed. My main issue is getting effective and clear communication. I suppose it depends on the person who handles an enquiry, and the type of enquiry it is. Most of the staff are good to deal with and very professional (as you would expect). So why the mixed review? The legal profession is confusing at the best of times so good and clear communication is paramount. This is where I feel there is some room for improvement. I am being as fair as possible, and of course this is only my personal opinion. There are positives...I am currently receiving excellent service from Wills and Probate...so in reality I would say 3.5 stars.

We have used Cullimore Dutton (Birch Cullimore, as was) as our solicitors for the last 30 years, since we wrote our wills. Since then amongst the wider family we have clocked up
5 more wills, 2 updates, 3 probates (one intestate),
Conveyancing on 4 (soon to be 5) house sale/purchase, 2x house ownership change from joint tenancy to tenants in common, 3 x LPA, and financial advice relating to the probates and to pension and investments. In that time we have dealt with at least 7 members of the team and without exception have been very satisfied both with the advice we've been given and the fees we've been charged. Recommend without hesitation.

Very expensive. They call you and leave a voice mail, you get charged for that. Then they write to you to say they called you and you get charged for that too. Everything is designed to maximize their profits.

Then when it comes to court, they hire any barrister they can get, mine was hung-over and kept going on about how the judge likes golf. Then they ignored my instructions and came back with nothing but limp compromises and settlements.

In my view this company does not have your back.
