Premium paid in full for the whole year from 01/03/25 to 01/03/26. Just received a "Reminder of Premium Due" for $818. If not paid by 09/29/25, policy will be cancelled. WTF Cypress Insurance?

We agreed upon a replacement value for home insurance and paid in full for a year. After a month they sent an appraiser out who valued our home at DOUBLE what we paid for it in 2024. We sent in our closing statement and bank appraisal and they refused to honor them so we were forced to switch to a different home insurance company. When they issued our refund, it was a FRACTION of what they owed us. We supplied more legal documents even county documents and appraisals from our new insurance company and they said their appraiser is right and our legal documents are useless to them and they stole $1200 from us. We have spent hours trying to reason with them and now I am forced to talk to an attorney.

received claim denial letter 6 months after filing a claim, Adjuster was rude and unprofessional since day 1, the adjuster has forced me to hire an attorney, now they will pay 5 times more for the claim. THIS IS THE REASON WHY PEOPLE HIRE ATTORNEYS AND PUBLIC ADJUSTERS BEACUSE OF ADJUSTERS LIKE THIS ONE

Nearly 4 months ago we filed a claim with Cypress regarding our home that was damaged in this seasons' hurricane. 4 months in that claim is "still under review". They refuse to share any information from their inspections or engineering assessments. The only thing we get from them is an automated response "Your claim is still under review".

The worst property Insurance, not professional, extremely Shady practices, they are scammers. Not worth the time or energy or your money. They take your money provide no service.

We filed a claim for hurricane Ian, and then Nicole damage for wind driven water damage. It was clear from the video recording and the stains on the windows that water was coming in from the window. They refuse to pay it saying it is flooding, and it’s so sad to see their lack of compassion and unreasonable response. They also raised our premium to $5300! Unbelievable- stay away! We have been living with a damaged flooring for 8 months now. They treated my neighbor the same way.
