DaimoonMedia has now publicly responded, stating that asking me to explain my refusal and later requesting that I increase my review from 1 star to 2 or 3 stars was simply "normal company response."
I disagree.
My original reply to their unsolicited business proposal was a complete answer: "No." A recipient is under no obligation to justify why they decline a sales approach. "No" is a full sentence.
After I left my review, instead of accepting my experience, I received an email explaining that my 1-star review was hurting their company's reputation and asking me to increase it to 2 or 3 stars. Their latest public response continues to argue that my rating is "out of proportion" rather than acknowledging why I found the interaction inappropriate.
My review has never been about whether their marketing services work. It has always been about how they handled communication after I declined their offer and how they responded to negative feedback.
For those reasons, my rating remains unchanged. I believe businesses should respect a customer's decision to decline without expecting further explanation or attempting to persuade them to make a negative review more positive.

I find this inappropriate. Reviews are intended to reflect a customer's genuine experience, not to be negotiated after publication. My review was based entirely on my interaction with the company, and my rating accurately reflected that experience.
Instead of addressing the substance of my review, the focus of the email was on persuading me to make the rating more favorable because of its impact on their public reputation. That is not a reason to alter an honest review, so I have decided to leave my original rating unchanged.
I believe review platforms work best when businesses respect honest feedback, whether positive or negative, rather than asking reviewers to increase their ratings after the fact.

I received an unsolicited marketing email from DaimoonMedia promoting their services after they claimed to have listened to one of our releases.
I replied with a simple and clear "No," indicating I was not interested. Instead of respecting that decision, they sent another email asking me to explain why I had declined.
"No" is a complete answer. Businesses should respect the decision without expecting further justification or attempting to continue the sales conversation after a clear refusal.
Based on my experience, I found the outreach to be intrusive and unnecessary. I value companies that respect boundaries and understand that not every recipient owes an explanation for declining a service.
