I am a potential buyer (looking to purchase a business) and as such I've emailed this Company two or three times now looking for support to website queries and issues.

However they NEVER respond!

Absolutely outrageous way to treat people. I find that 'uk.businessesforsale (DOT) com' is a far superior website.

Avoid Daltons as they couldn't care less!

Easy to use and a good price for my advert.
Hope that it gives a good result as 3 years working with local agents has actually been a waste of money and time.

Straightforward forms to fill in I’ll re review them if /when I get a sale

I was helped with great patience by Mr. Heath Lampkin. If he had not shown the care he did I would probably have given up trying to fill out the form to sell my business. He also has a sense of humour which I have found is lacking these days in many areas of business. I am an older client wanting to sell my business to retire and Modern Technology is not at the top of my favourite passtimes so it is a miracle that we eventually managed to get the advert finalised. Thank you Heath.

I have been exploring platforms to advertise my business and came across Daltons Business. However, my experience so far has been disappointing and raises concerns about the company's responsiveness and customer service.

I initially submitted a valuation request through your online form, which clearly stated I would receive a response within 48 hours. While I did receive an email acknowledgment, it has now been over a week with no further contact.

After receiving no follow-up, I submitted a second enquiry via the general contact form on your website. Again, more than two days have passed without any response.

I then attempted to call all the contact numbers listed online. Unfortunately, each call went straight to voicemail with no identification of the company or the individual handling the line.

This lack of communication and follow-through is concerning. It reflects poorly on your company's customer service and reliability — especially for potential clients seeking professional and timely assistance.

I would appreciate it if someone could look into this matter and respond accordingly (check your valuation requests!)

Very easy to use in order to list a business for sale.

Straightforward, no nonsense.

A good platform and easy to upload . However, it would be good to receive a receipted invoice and a copy of the final advertisement. It would also be good to be able to more easily upload pics and brochure etc . The listings do not provide for letting only For Sale . Hoping for a good level of interest .

Easy to advertise

At the moment not too sure if this messages I’m getting after uploading my business here with daltons are scam or are genuine.

I have posted my business a few days ago. And I’ve got two emails saying they wanted more details from my business and they asked me if I have got the information they were asking me for. I’m both cases they weren’t straight forwards and never replied back. Not too sure if this is just a way of keeping your hopes up that “there are people interested ” for now I will give it 2 stars.

Easy to use website, competitive prices.
Remains to be seen how quickly and easily the business sells!

in 2 months i have had about 6 inquiries, not one has responded to my replies, one person lived in uganda, i am sure they invent someone to show their system is working

Have tried unsubscribing from their email alerts. The only option I could find was a screen where one can manage one's preferences. No option to unsubscribe and the mails keep coming despite editing preference to receive no alerts. After two maybe three weeks I tried contacting them through their website to complain and that has been ignored as well. Incompetence at best dodgy business practices more likely.

i had lots of inqueries from my listing and their customer service works very nice.

Warren was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble and a really nice and sociable person 5 star guy

A good and friendly service ,quick response time very happy with it all..

Have had quite a few false or potential scam enquiries which takes time and is frustrating to follow up on.
Also too many promotional e mails from Dalton as well which is annoying.

What a fantastic company, they reply almost immediately, are extremely helpful, they simplify the whole process of selling, very efficient. They took all the stress out of it for me, I can't praise them enough
