Great Service

Really friendly service when ordering, competitive rates, good availability, and good service upon delivery. Easy to off hire and collect, all round a great experience. Would use them again.

Temporary office space and welfare.

We needed temporary office space and welfare facilities for 12 people with limited notice. Davlav catered for our needs with great delivery and set up of the units and followed up with support for the duration of our project. Highly recommended.

Disgusting service

 Hidden Tax on Quotation
The initial quotation provided did not include tax, and your staff confirmed the charges without clarifying that tax was excluded. Your team later implied that customers should automatically assume tax would be added because you are a taxpayer business. This is misleading and falls short of clear and transparent communication, as customers should not be left to make such assumptions.

 Late Delivery of Toilet
The toilet delivery was explicitly requested for the morning and confirmed by your staff. However, it was delivered late in the afternoon, causing inconvenience and disrupting the planned schedule.

 Delayed Servicing
The toilet was agreed to be serviced at the end of each week, but the servicing was only carried out toward the end of the second week after multiple follow-up calls. This lack of adherence to the agreed timeline is unacceptable and raises concerns about reliability.

 Delayed Collection and Additional Charges
When your company was contacted to collect the toilet, it was only picked up five days later. This unnecessary delay left the toilet on-site longer than needed, raising suspicions that this was an attempt to increase charges unfairly.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns, and we'd like to address each point to clarify any misunderstandings.

Regarding pricing transparency: All our quotations are provided net of VAT, which is standard business practice in the UK and stated in our terms and conditions. We apologise if this wasn't communicated as clearly as it should have been during our initial discussions.

Concerning delivery timing: While we always endeavour to accommodate morning delivery requests, our correspondence confirmed that we "cannot guarantee a delivery time but can request first drop where possible." We understand this may have caused inconvenience and will work to improve our communication around delivery expectations.

With respect to servicing: Our scheduling is optimised by geographical area to maintain efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint. The service schedule follows our route planning rather than a fixed weekly cycle from delivery date. We acknowledge this could have been explained more clearly upfront.

Regarding collection: Our standard procedure allows up to 5 working days for removal, with hire charges ceasing from the date of your collection request, ensuring you're not charged during the collection window.

We note that team members Dan and Thomas have attempted to contact you by telephone to discuss these matters but haven't been able to reach you. We remain committed to resolving your concerns and improving our service communication.
