Excellent experience of an Ultrasound Scan with Mr. Gow and Lorraine at St George’s Medical Centre.
I was called in as soon as I arrived. The process did not seem at all rushed but went like clockwork. Great Team working together with kindness, patience and very clear thorough and helpful explanation of what was being shown by the scan.
The environment where the scan was carried out is clean modern and spacious with easy access
The whole process of the Scan from Lorraine meeting me in reception right the way through the Scan process with Mr. Gow, was one of the most professional, seamless and human facing experiences I’ve had for a long time. Faultless🤩

Generally good company. Scans are usually quick to come through. I had 2 scans with the company and the first was very quick with an extremely kind technician who was very thorough and sent my results to my GP within 24 hours. The second scan I had was cancelled twice. The technician was also efficient but not very friendly and I felt that more personal space could have been provided when undressing. I got the impression they were rushing. So overall good but as with most things on the NHS there is a chance of cancellations and somewhat rushed care.

My mum had an appointment today and the care given to her was fantastic. I thanked the Doctor afterwards as they couldn’t have done much more for her. Explained everything to us and put us at ease. Thank you for being gentle and caring with her.

My partner took a day off work, drove for over an hour to an appointment at Diagnostic World Leicester. 20 minutes before her appointment and whilst driving, Diagnostic World sent her a text message cancelling her appointment due to 'clinical availability'!!!!! When she arrived for her appointment, not being aware she had a message the clinic was empty, no receptionist and no staff anywhere to be seen. I am so angry about the sheer unprofessionalism of this NHS provider. We tried to contact their main office and no surprise their telephone lines close at 16.30, how nice for them! Diagnostic World is quite simply unprofessional, unreliable and lacks any understanding or appreciation of the patient experience. Simply put, they couldn't care less.

Appalling service.
Diagnostic World do not have a patient centric approach. Their staff are unhelpful and don’t seem to care they are dealing with vulnerable and sick patients which is why they are having to go for scans in the first place!
They talk to you like you are something they have trodden in. This is at all levels including when you make a formal complaint. They either are condescending or just ignore you entirely.
Companies like Diagnostic World put the reputation and resources of the NHS in disrepute. I dread to think the value of their contract given the appalling service they offer.

Fantastic service from diagnostic world, I have, in the past paid privately for Ultrasound scans however my experience today was better than any private service I have received,
Such fast and efficient service all conducted by a friendly, professional sonographer who instantly made me feel at ease and listened respectfully to my historic issues. I would happily return to diagnostic world for any further scans and have relayed this to my gp. Thank you

Started working as a bank healthcare assistant in September 2024 working at the weekend then in January 2025 I extended my hours to include 3 week days in April 2025 as I was enjoying the work so much I joined the team as a full time Health care assistant.I enjoy the variety in working locations and working with different sonographers. Although because I'm working in the North East management and HR are remote they are both very responsive if I need to contact them for anything.I look forward to many years working with Diagnostic World.

Like every organisation, we occasionally face challenges such as staff sickness or unforeseen cancellations. When this happens, we do our very best to inform patients as soon as we’re aware and ensure they are rescheduled as quickly and conveniently as possible.
It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a team that’s so committed to supporting patients every step of the way.

All team in the company are very professional, knowledgeable and experienced who are caring and provide good service and advice.
I can realize how stressful and anxious could be expectations of the scan procedure but the professional, calm and caring staff’s approach make a huge difference for the patients. The NHS waiting times are months and the company is able sometimes to make a booking for the following day!
The employees and managers are very approachable and supportive. Role is varied but very interesting. All the staff are amazing to work with.
Would highly recommend for anyone who wants an ultrasound appointment or take a step forward in their career. Kind, friendly and helpful staff!

my 83 yr old father with dementia and heart failure had a scan with you today. You made a mistake with the date and he had to wait 6 hrs for transport back to his care home. No water, no food no care 33 degrees outside. He is not in great condition. I am appalled and horrified.
Update. Diagnostic world were actually very helpful in sorting this out. They admitted responsibility and reimbursed me for the travel and care my father had on his first visit. I’m impressed by their customer service after the initial problem

I Have had an appointment with diagnostic world on multiple occasions over the last 5 years and every time it has been extremely smooth and efficient, the Staff in clinic are always as helpful as possible and try to answer as many questions as possible within their contractual limits. the Booking Team is always professional and courteous when booking or rescheduling appointments, they always try make sure to put the patient first, I have already recommended family to have scans with diagnostic world as they offer a lot more flexibility and professionalism compared to hospital. The booking team will always do their best to find me an appointment to suit my needs.

Casual approach to customer treatment with repeated cancellation for my wife whose appointment for ultrasound is repeatedly getting cancelled, this inspite of GP marking it as a priority to have ultrasound in 72 hours. Its 20 days and she is still waiting for an Ultrasound to be done. At first they didn’t give any appointment for 2 weeks and then appointment booked on 31st Dec was cancelled by the Consultant at the scheduled time once we reach the facility. They went on to check our phones. Second appointment booked for today was again cancelled. I consider this a case of denied treatment to a priority patient. I will be suing them anyways for denying customer treatment to a patient despite urgency marked by GP.
