I am not usually one to write reviews, however in this instance I wish to share my very positive experience of Dorset Showhomes. From start to finish, everyone within their team, whether in Sales, Customer Support or the guys doing the prep and finish work on the driveway have been efficient, helpful and professional. Communication has been excellent throughout with deliveries arriving on time and all works completed a little ahead of schedule. I am delighted with the quality of the workmanship and the end result is even better than I anticipated, so definitely worth the investment. It is very evident that as a company they prioritise the customer experience and indeed excel in terms of delivery.

From the initial very comprehensive presentation to completion of the driveway was very impressive and professional. The whole team were very approachable, gave good advice and the finish was excellent. It has to be said that the construction workers were extremely efficient and hardworking.

After having the driveway done, which we were absolutely delighted with, we contacted Dorset Showhomes to do our patio at the back this year.

Once again, fantastic result and professional hardworking service from start to finish!

It’s been a while since I have had someone at my door, some things do need human interaction to discuss and this is one of them. Representative who knocked on my door was so polite and not pushy at all.. followed up by a very polite phone call. Would highly recommend, if only for a chat about options. Support local.

It just goes to show if you work with the right people and follow their advice, you get what you want. From start to finish, all the team at Dorset Showhomes provided a comprehensive service and a great package for our house build project. We prepared the site as per agreement and DSH were there on time with a courteous and professional team at all stages, from the 'dig out', C35 concrete base installation and drainage holes, through to the final 'resin bound surface' spread. The end result is flawless and a testimony to Dan and his team, who worked tirelessly on every detail. Very impressed.

Disgrace! Offer so much but delivery is far from.... if you want to see what they do, message me and come and look! Loose stones, discoloured, very bad attitude and all while insurance was offered and taken.... they refuse to rectify....and its only 3 years old .... don't waist ypu money with them!!!

Our experience of Dorset Showhomes was very mixed.
The sales process was thorough and professional with all questions answered.
Preparation day. All was good until lunchtime when a workman severed the electricity cables to the house. Accidents happen. The workman was not injured. Electricity was restored by National Grid 4 hours later with 60 neighbouring properties having their power off for 45 minutes. Despite the seriousness of the situation our request for someone to remain in the office until all was OK (and it wasn't) went unheeded.
With the workmen now having to return the following day there was no pro-active contact from Head Office to advise the time the work was to recommence. We had to make contact.
The resin was due to be laid on 17 April. We phoned up to pay the balance (as per T&C) only to be told our delivery lorry had broken down. A neighbour 50 yards away had their delivery lorry the very same day and their lorry driver knew nothing of a broken down lorry.
With so much going wrong, we asked to speak to a Director but never received a phone call.
10 days later the resin was delivered by the same Company that had delivered to our neighbour.
At the end of the day, there was a phone call from Head Office for the balance payment. This person knew nothing of previous experiences and he promised a Director would phone back.
The following day we phoned and (once again reactive not pro-active) and a Director did come to the phone.
We are very pleased with the resin drive and footpath. The workmen all worked very hard (letting themselves down by leaving cigarette ends on our garden).
It was our experience that the Head Office team were not customer focused, always reactive, never pro-active with a Director not prepared to put his head above the parapet until the very last contact.
Product great, Administration - simply not good enough.

I must say from start to finish I was completely amazed by the customer service and professionalism of this company! Quality of work is out of this world would highly highly recommend this company to anyone. The resin drive way put down has smiles all round. Well done Dorset showhomes!

The team at Dorset Showhomes were so helpful right from the off. From the planning to the final installation the process was faultless. Customer service and final product are second to none.

Was thinking about having patio done for a few years.
Received knock at door at the right time and appointment was made with there member of staff who quoted a reasonable and affordable price for the service offered.
Once work commenced it was great experience with there worker who completed the patio area above expectations.

Professional job from start to finish taking pride in there work with an outstanding eye for detail would deffo recommend

Absolutely flawless from start to finish. Our property is old and we were worried about the image of resin spoiling it. Every step from plan to prep work to finishing off we were cared for by some of the best service we have ever had and our driveway looks immaculate.

The salesman was so knowledgeable and didn’t try the usual “salesman rubbish” you usually get and made us feel valued. The people who carried out the work were so polite and tidy. Cannot fault anything

Terrible customer service

Overpriced company overpriced and not professional at all

The man my mother had come to her home to leave a quotation seemed to be very rushed and very impatient with my mother who is hard of hearing and in her late 70s he seemed to get angry when my mother explained she wouldn't be making a decision on the day

was told to ring our office as all he seemed to want to do as a result of finding out he wouldnt be getting any sort of deal then and there

After finding this out my mother was told this was a waste of his time and decided to ignore my mother's further questions and let himself out

Disgusting

Worked for this company, doesn't pay its staff on time, 1 person does the wages and if they are on holiday then we don't get paid, avoid this firm at all costs over charges, overpriced cowboys

And as if they didn't learn a lesson the owner is now threatening to sack anyone in the company who knows me as a result of a negative review, not very nice if u ask me 👎🏻🤔

The DSH experience.

I will honestly say the work completed by this company was top notch.

From start to finished we felt looked after and listened to. They were able to plan/prep/spread the work without causing myself or my wife any stress what’s so ever. They had it all in hand. The prep team and the spread team impressed us with there professionalism and attention to detail. The office staff were so easy to talk to and real made sure we had all the information we needed. Absolute 11 out of 10 across the board.
