In store I a had a very lovely experience with the sales assistant and chose a bed back in early May 2026. We were given a delivery date of 24th july which gave us enough time to crack on with our house renovations. We arranged the carpet fitters to come in 2 days before the bed is supposed to be delivered and rushed painting the walls aswell. Less than 48 hours before the delivery, we get an email stating items unable for delivery and they will contact us to rearrange. On the morning of 24th July I get a message from the delivery driver saying he will be arriving sometime in the morning…what was he delivering if the items are unavailable. Then the day after I get emails from dreams to rate the item and their service…rate the items that I haven’t received???
Tried calling dreams multiple times only to be caller number 1 for 45 mins. Finally had to take the time out and pop down to the store and after many equiries have been told the item will be delivered in another 5 weeks. I’m not sure if I still want it. I need a bed now as I’m moving into a new house!

We visited Dreams in Guildford today to buy a new bed and mattress, and the service was outstanding. Pauline welcomed us and was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, taking the time to help us choose the perfect mattress for our needs.

A special thank you to the manager, Atika, who stayed with us for around 30 minutes even though the store was about to close. She never made us feel rushed and made sure we were completely happy with our choice.

Excellent customer service from both Pauline and Atika. They made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. We highly recommend Dreams Guildford!

I walked into the Halifax 'Dreams' shop today expecting to be there for hours, hopping from bed to bed and leaving without being able to make a decision - that is until I met Joshua, granted, I had done a little homework (thanks to ChatGPT) but it wasn't long before I was placing an order for THE most luxurious and comfortable mattress I'd ever lain on. This guy knew his stuff, was incredibly informative (I asked a LOT of questions) and very friendly!

I have painful conditions and used to dread going to bed knowing I would wake up in agony, I am actually looking forward to clambering on that sumptuous mattress and SLEEPING!! It has actually got a Royal seal of approval!!

Very disappointing experience – avoid if you expect reliable service

We purchased a mattress from Dreams in Warrington last Saturday and paid. At the time of purchase, the salesperson told us that they were currently experiencing issues with deliveries and, because of this, they could not confirm a delivery date yet. We were told that they would contact us within a few days.

A week later, having heard nothing, we returned to the store to ask for an update. A different member of staff tried to help and noticed that the receipt showed a delivery date of Sunday. We explained that this was most likely only a placeholder date, as the salesperson had specifically told us there were delivery issues. The store manager then came over and explained to the employee that Dreams do not deliver on Sundays.

After checking the order, the manager informed us that the mattress was not currently in stock. This was very confusing, as we had already purchased and paid for it. When we questioned how something we had bought could be out of stock, we were told that it may have gone out of stock after our purchase. However, this was not what we had been told at the time of buying. The salesperson never mentioned any stock issue — only delivery problems.

The manager then showed us that they had many unfulfilled deliveries, as if this was something we should accept as our problem. When we asked when we could realistically expect our mattress, nobody could provide a clear answer. After pushing for an estimate, we were told it would be at least a month before delivery might happen.

I hate the typical way that companies try to justify their own inability by coming up with excuses and explanations that make no sense, and most importantly, they present it to the customer as if the customer has to accept the company’s own inability.

Given these circumstances, we obviously requested to cancel the order.

We now have to wait at least a week to receive our refund, and after this experience, we would not be surprised if that process is delayed as well.

A very poor customer experience, especially considering the prices Dreams charge for their mattresses. We will not be buying from Dreams again.

I was served by a lady called Racheal at the Abingdon store. She was simply superb. She was knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic about the product.

I bought a bed back in 2018, and we was ready for a new mattress. We dealt with a lady called Emma in the Hull St Andrews Quay Store she was incredibly professional, knowledgable and listened to all our questions, she went above and beyond, going that extra mile for us to choose the right mattress for our needs. We was offered a coffee upon entry to the store, and we was given the opportunity to check our sleeping posture on a machine that works out what bed would be the most appropriate for us. The discounts offered in the store were truely remarkable , we saved over £600 and came home with extras based on Emma’s recommendations. Emma is a credit to your company. Thank you for the recommendation and the awesome service!

The Team at Leeds were very friendly and made us feel welcome and relaxed, we used Sleepmatch and chose our new bed and mattress.
We will highly recommend to friends and family, a great shopping experience!

We had a brilliant experience at the Fareham Dreams store today. We took my elderly father-in-law to look at matresses. We were assisted by a lovely employee called Kat, she was very helpful, did a full analysis of his sleep position and recommended a number of very comfortable mattresses. She made sure that he found the right mattress for his body and budget. She didn't rush him, and was very patient throughout. He was really pleased with the experience and cannot wait to recieve his new mattress.

Hmmm, Saturday afternoon delivery slot 3:15-5:15pm, that’s an odd time, but we can do that after already waiting for two weeks for our mattress…

Why are you giving out phone numbers for drivers that CBA to respond?

But don’t worry I can keep sleeping on the sofa….

They have great customer service and I look forward to enjoying my sealy mattress.
