Complete scam of a company.

Ordered a review of my records for handicap plates because my doctor through the VA won't do it.

They promised a 2 to 3 Day turnaround and it's been over a month. Do not use this company they will steal your money. Also I've called customer service several times and they are unhelpful.

I never received any response despite calling and emailing asking for updates and eventually a refund since it had been weeks with nothing. Complete scam, stay away.

Paid almost 2 weeks ago and never received any response. Called and emailed daily so far with nothing. Plan to charge back since they won’t respond at all and still have the $160

I was approved for my handicap placard. They took my money and I was told to expect my approval letter in the mail. I never received it. I sent 7 email messages and called and left messages every day for 2 weeks. THIS IS A SCAM! Don’t trust the Drhandicap site! If you don’t believe try to give them a call.

We used this service for my husband. The upload process was easy. We received our signed form back and took it to the DMV. CA DMV requires a wet signature and we have been unable to get that from them. Their phone numbers go straight to voicemail that they never return. They don't respond to emails. I even tried to get in touch with the CEO and VP. The VP was responsive and said he forwarded the issue to the CEO but still we got no response. They own multiple businesses and if you look at Trust Pilot - the reviews are pretty terrible and all in the same way.

I highly recommend avoiding Dr. Handicap. I submitted an order and never heard back from them. I tried contacting them through their website, email, and phone (left multiple voicemails), but received no response. After 72 hours with no reply, I had to file a claim with my credit card company for services not received. My credit card company is still trying to get in touch with them. If they try to lie or dispute my claim. I will update this review with details.

Please don’t confuse Dr. Handicap with HandicapMD. They are completely different companies. Dr. Eric Scott at HandicapMD is reputable. I had an appointment, DMV application signed, and everything submitted within 16 hours.

Dr. Handicap, on the other hand, feels like a scam propped up by fake reviews. Save yourself the stress and use HandicapMD instead.

I signed up back in June for placard and after submitting all medical documentation was immediately approved for a Florida placard however that's where my problems started. Since then I haven't heard anything from the company no forms have been sent to either FLDMV or mailed to my home ,They fail to respond to any inquires ,no response to emails. no return calls, no nothing. Keep leaving messages. Everything goes unanswered. Just been Scammed and rip offed . Don"t recommend purchase , Save your money

It’s a scam. Booked an appointment and it was online. Downloaded their app, and got everything signed. I logged in 15 minutes before the appointment time, 45 minutes after the appointment time no one showed up in the video conference. I stayed for another 30 minutes to no avail. Received a bill for the said consult. Stay away from this website.

It’s legit. Besides having to wait for the forms to be mailed to you, everything was a quick and easy process. I got to renew my handicap placard after submitting medical records and having a quick appointment with the Dr. 10/10 would recommend.

Signed up and they just skipped my appointment and never contacted me. What a waste of time.

For those wondering if this is a legit service, it definitely is! Just give them about 4-5 days with processing if you’re approved. The great thing about Dr. Handicap is they are easily available through email/Divan Medical Chat for ANY questions or concerns you may have. Which also gives the patients a sense of comfort that they’re here to help.

I tried another company “HandicapMD” everything checked out for that company, however they provide zero customer service. You can’t even contact them and there’s no way to contact them for whatever reason. I even paid “$99 expedite fee” and after 2 weeks I kept asking for updates with no proper replies. I even looked bad in the process just because I legitimately wanted an update of my documents. At the end of the day, I had my credit card reverse the charges and gave up on waiting around. Also felt a bit of a scam.

The only time HandicapMD would reply is when I requested and PAID for “expedited” service and then mentioned that CA DMV required a wet signature? They would need to mail in the forms to you? Which could be true but Dr. Handicap emailed me their forms and I just printed it then brought it to DMV. I got the placard the same day! Very happy with Dr. Handicap and Team!

Please don't waste your time. I was issued a handicap placard from my doctor and this website denied me. its fraud they want you 159 dollars and they say no. Beware

I submitted all my documents including a video. My credit card was immediately charged $159.00. I called the company, emailed the company sent messages via chat asking for status or any sort of update on my order. Never received anything. Beware. Extremely disappointed by this company.

I have been extremely pleased with the service from Dr. handicap. They reviewed my situation in a very timely basis and called me personally for a consultation to understand my situation in my needs. They were very flexible and then provided the certification that I needed for DMV in a very timely manner. I saw a couple of reviews that were not good, but I disagree with them as I found every aspect of Dr. handicap service to be very professional and timely.

In less than a week I had my paperwork and was able to get my placard. So appreciative of this service! They are 100% legit and professional.

They sure took my money and said I was approved for a handicap permit based on my medical records but never mailed the paperwork. According to Dr. Scott, my forms needed a wet signature because I was in California so they had to mail them to me. Except they never seemed to mail them and do not respond to emails. I am contacting my credit card company for a refund and also reporting them to the BBB.
Update: they did finally mail my forms but months later than they advertise. Asking for a refund seemed to get the ball rolling on getting my paperwork.

These people are legitimate, as far as I can tell they're an arm of a bigger medical group and so they have plenty of resources and doctors at their disposal-- as well as an actually-established support team. I requested a placard and included my medical history of a most recent checkup for the matter, and it was taken care of promptly. Keep in mind, you need to be already diagnosed & have paperwork (online visit summaries work), they won't be able to help with that.

I had a few questions during the process and their support team helped me out very quickly. Additionally, once I got my signed papers, I sent it out to my state's DPS and then USPS totally botched the delivery. So I found that my state allowed online applications, and reached out to their support team. Through support, they were able to contact the Drhandicap Doctor assigned to me and we worked together to get an online form signed and sent off instead. They went above and beyond to help me out with this when USPS failed, and were helpful the whole way.

This service is genuine. Don't listen to reviews that call this service a scam. People aren't perfect, and mistakes can happen. However, I uploaded my medical records and a video of my mobility problems and received an email from a medical provider within an hour. I received approval for a permanent handicap placard within 24 hours and had my state application for handicap license plates/placards filled out by a doctor within four days. Each state may have its requirements, but the folks at Dr. Handicap have medical professionals licensed in every state. Many complaints from other reviews involve the applicant needing to understand what they need or making mistakes themselves. Learn what your state requires, ensure your conditions meet whatever requirements your state requires, and give Dr. Handicap an opportunity because they are legit and will do right by you as a patient. But understand that your VA disability rating doesn't mean anything. The VA will rate a hangnail. So, if you are 100 percent or 0 percent from the VA, that doesn't mean you are eligible to receive a placard. Your medical records must have a diagnosed condition with its impact documented to qualify. Some medical providers will not sign off on your application for their reasons. Dr. Handicap can and will address that failure in care from those types of providers.

Absolutely zero live engagement from this firm after I made payment and submitted my information. I received an automatic email and my order shown as pending. After hearing nothing I tried to contact again. Still nothing. Finally - a couple of weeks later, I received a notification that my application was inactive. Losers.

Great experience overall. I submitted my application with my medical records. That same day I received my "e copy" which I submitted online with my sate DMV.
I received my placard 1 week later.
