Worst car rental
I write a review earlier and they replied here saying I can contact customer service, so here is the update, I did contact them (even before writing the last review) and they literally dis nothing. So they make it look like they care and that they will help the customers regarding the issue but no. They didn’t do anything. And now they say it is past 6 months and they can’t do anything further.
I dont know how they have so high reviews but they ruined the whole trip to N. Ireland because they gave us a car that was past the service by over 1000 miles.

Hire van cancelled at the last minute
I booked a hire van about 1 week ago. All was fine until the day before the booking. I got a phone call saying they had to cancel my reservation. When I asked why, they said the person that currently had the van chose to extend it. How can a company have that as their policy when I had a confirmed booking in place. I believe the reason they did it was to save money cleaning it in between customers.
This left me looking for a replacement last minute as had a house move to do the next day. I would highly recommend ARNOLD CLARK van hire. Great service from start to finish and actually worked out cheaper as well. Avoid Drivalia as they have no issue with letting you down at short notice.

I just pick up car i Manchester, they are using the scam number, said yours credit card is a debit, so will have you to pay full insurance, it's not a debit card.

Dont use
Poor experience from start to...........well its still not finished. I booked a car for 24 hours. I wanted to get from Aberdeen to Liverpool. I booked and payed for an Automatic midsize SUV. When I came to pick it up there was a lady in the office who looked very displeased. I now see why. She probably had the same issue i was about to have. When the guy at the counter finally got to me he told me they dont have the the car that I booked. In fact they only had the 1 car in the lot. A compact manual MG. After a quick chat with my driving partner i decided to cancel and leave. We went to a competitor and got what we originaly wanted. I'm still waiting on the refund. Currenty sitting at 23 days. Thata outrageous in this day and age.

Hire a car, get given a 9 seater van and have to pay extra
We arrived late to find that the car we hired was no longer available (even though they knew our flight number). We were offered a 9 seater van instead and had to pay extra. The person started the van for us and we drove off only to discover that the key wasn’t working and we couldn’t lock the van. No help was offered when we phoned the office so we eventually drove back and after some discussion (can’t you park it somewhere quiet,..) we finally managed to get a car, which had been there all along. So why we were first told the only vehicle available was a 9 seater van? Won’t ever use again.

Unroadworthy vehicles and no customer service
First surprised of so many positive reviews.
I hired a Jeep and they gave me a MG, they feel this is a similar substitute vehicle! 2nd, the car they gave me was filthy inside out, and the biggest problem is the warning brake fault on the dash board. I have tried calling them, emailing them and contacting CarJet the agent I made the agreement and payment with, and no one from either has contacted me with a solution.
I would suggest never use them, as they say, if the deal seems too good to be true…. Pay to use a reputable car hire company.

I have only had exceptional experiences…
I have only had exceptional experiences with the car rental service, thanks to Mo. He is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, guiding me through the options and ensuring I find the perfect car for my needs. His friendly attitude made the process enjoyable, and I appreciated his really friendly and accommodating attitude. I highly recommend this service, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.

I was charged for a windscreen that was already broken. This company are a rip-off firm. Please be careful when getting a car from these people. They will rip you off as soon as look at you do not use them.

Rental was fine, fraudulent card charge 2 months later
The rental itself was fine, I was in Scotland from the U.S. for a week. Unfortunately 2 months after my rental they tried to charge my credit card again. I don't know if this was an honest mistake but I had to close my card and obviously it never should have happened.

On booking a Drivalia hire vehicle, whether directly with Drivalia or through a Third Party provider, all Drivalia Hirers are advised on the booking page and also on their booking confirmation voucher, that, in the event of damage to the vehicle during the hire, they are required to cover their excess liability either by the provision of a deposit on a credit card in the name of the Hirer or alternatively by purchasing an excess waiver package from Drivalia.
