Double charged me and the branch…
Double charged me and the branch manager said they couldnt help. Cancelled one charge myself and then made a booking later but wouldnt let me pick up the car as I fixed the issue myself. Didnt really hace any choice. To be honest i was getting bored of the long trips to the rental centre and hearing people argue about insurance and damaged cars. My alternate rental was seamless and much more professional.

100% recommend
Super friendly desk staff who were fantastic throughout. Had a little trouble figuring out the car, but they were patient and understanding with me, showing me all the features and answering all my questions. Couldn't recommend them more.

Dreadful customer service
I hired a rental on the 1st of April and returned the car on the 5th in Belfast Airport. Drivalia charged me £1500 on my credit card in case there was damage to the car. The car was returned spotless and I have still as of today 17th got £1500 pending on my credit card. I tried phoning customer service with the number from the website, when you ring it apparently it does not exist. I just phoned the office in Belfast and was told it can take 28 days for the pending money to be removed. I asked him can you tell me if you are charging me and he said he could not hear me and put the phone down. Dreadful service.

Belfast International-Don’t use.
Belfast International-Strongly suggest not using Drivalia. Despite booking a manual, were offered either an electric as “equivalent” or a manual for an upgrade fee. Oh, and expect hard sell on excess insurance. The off-site location means you either take what they offer, or you’re stuck. 160 mile range, meant most of the trip spent downloading apps, locating charging points (which might/ might not work/exist). Day 2 battery warning lights appear- on informing Drivilia, offered to drive to their base to swap car - very odd response of being told they are under no obligation, and if it breaks down, call recovery. I have complained to both the Belfast office and booking agent. Apparently these don’t count as complaints.
Joke all round.

Booking cancelled & scammed
I way trying to contact the company from the airport when I arrived as they had no desk or board.
When I did make contact we had a long wait and walk for a minibus to pick us up.
On arrival in the office we had to que to be served during this time there was a client that complained that the car they were given had a cracked windscreen and demanded a replacement (the car we were ment to have).
When we finally go served we were given a high end bmw costing triple the original hire and on payment I used 3 credit cards that the staff said were no working and was forced to pay by debit card so I could not claim on my credit card. This is despite me using the cards before and after.
The attitude of the staff was totally unacceptably been rude and unhelpful.
I have used carjet many times over the years with no hassle. Please can you explain if I have fully paid for a hired product these cowboys can scam me out of my money for being a little late and then force me to pay cash for the most expensive car they had.
I have raised a case with NI ombudsman and have informed my lawyer to prepare leagal action subject to response.
