We picked the car from Liverpool airport. Gareth was the person that assisted us to fill the forms and get ready to go.

Unexpected £120 charge
Unexpected £120 charge — and nobody takes responsibility
I booked car hire through Ryanair and prepaid €133. The collection time was based on my scheduled Ryanair flight arrival. When the flight was delayed, Drivalia demanded a further £120 late-pickup fee — despite the delay being caused by the Ryanair flight.
I refused to pay an additional £120 and did not take the car.
Since then, I have spent weeks trying to get a proper explanation or refund. Ryanair directed me to CarTrawler, and CarTrawler ultimately told me to deal with my bank because I had raised a chargeback.
The fundamental question — why should a customer pay £120 because the airline's flight was delayed? — has never been properly answered.
I have now had to pursue the matter through my bank and raise the wider issue with Liverpool Airport and consumer authorities.
A very disappointing experience, particularly when the booking was made through Ryanair.

Quick check out process, Karl came over straight away and got me on my way with a drop off to the airport. Check in was fast too, car was ready for me.

I hired a van from Gareth at Drivalia for a few days while moving house, and he was honestly brilliant. He was so helpful from the moment we arrived, the service was friendly and fast, and he made everything really easy. We walked away with a great van that is exactly what we needed for the move. Efficient staff
Easy booking. Pickup was efficient.
Returning the car is very easy and Karl is especially friendly and accommodating with drop off at the airport.

Terrible
Terrible, received a number of letters by post in fines for not paying a penalty I was not aware of. Never have this issue with any other car rental company. The fines are more than the initial fee. Won’t be using them again

I drove from Bristol to Liverpool Drivalia car rental
I drove from Bristol to Liverpool. At the Liverpool drop off (airport) Karl took care of my check out. Everything went smoothly and quickly. He even drove me back to the bus station. Nice people and good cars, I would highly recommend!

Deal direct with Stuart
Stuart is amazing at the airport. He gave me his number and I now deal direct with him when I need a vehicle, this cuts out any broker fees. Service is always 5 stars from start to finish.

A great team of people Stuart went out…
A great team of people Stuart went out of his way to accommodate our rental vehicle requirements after our previous experience with Drivalia, we had in fact booked with another rental car company to complete our journey but the service we received from Stuart and his team couldn’t be faulted and went beyond normal customer service standards, thanks to Stuart he saved a customer going elsewhere for a rental and rebuilt our faith in Drivalia.
We can’t thank Stuart and his team enough.

Best Car Hire Company around. End of Story.
I cannot recommend Drivalia highly enough. This is the 2nd time I've hired from them, this one for a longer period of time. The guys in the office in Speke are superb. Stuart is on the ball and is a pleasure to deal with; he could not be any more helpful and for the second time I got a nice little free upgrade. Use this company. They are the best out there.
