Great customer service. Great warrantys

The associates were friendly and accommodating. They answered all questions politely and quickly. They even provided phone chargers when both phones died. My only complaint is that the interest rates for no credit are extremely, incredibly high through DriveTime. The car that I purchased was listed $14,000…$16,000 after fees and such. The financing is $233 every two weeks for 6 years making the car nearly $37,000. Ridiculous rate. But that’s not something the associates can help. Associates themselves are great. DriveTime’s rates just suck.

If I could give zero stars I would but because I can’t I put one I’m writing a review so you are warned buying a car from drive time is a scandal and let me tell you why yes the staff is friendly. Yes it’s very easy to get a car from drive time. I purchased two cars on the same day from drive time they tell you you pay a little extra for warranty and if anything goes wrong it’s 100% covered that is a lie so be warned I’ve only had both vehicles for six months and it’s awfully funny both of them start acting up at the same time, I take both vehicles to the mechanic shops that they recommend just for them to say, the problem with the vehicles is not under the warranty, both of them. Then what do you cover nothing it’s a scam. One car is going to cost 1400 to fix the other one 750 that I’m out of pocket. My warranty isn’t even up yet for another couple of months but yet they don’t cover anything so be warned when it comes to something going wrong with the car, they will not honor, what they say I was told when I bought both cars they would be 100% covered. Every car payment I pay extra for this warranty that doesn’t exist. And there is nothing I can do about it so be warned. Liars and scammers.

We picked out our car.
David worked on the financing. He was cheerful and very helpful letting us know all the details of the Financing And coverage we would have. Walked us through the whole process.

I went into Drivetime looking for a particular vehicle that I had in mind. Unfortunately they only had 2 vehicles on their lot that I didn't care for too much for. But my salesman Michael Taylor was very patient and helpful in finding the right SUV that's perfect for my family and I. Even though he was try to put into a "soccer mom van' 😕, he still kept in mind the convenience that I was looking for, which was a vehicle that had 3 rows. So with hours of my indecisiveness, I finally made up my mind on a Nissan Pathfinder, from another location that wasn't too far away. Thank you Michael for being so patient and accommodating throughout the process.

I went to my appointment at 4 pm very skeptical. David reassured me that he would get me into a vehicle.
The process was smooth I made my down payment and was turned over to Damion who also did a great job.
I will return for another vehicle when this one is paid off.
DriveTime employees were very helpful, the best dealership I have been to in years.

This place was great. When they say your approved your approved. Others just tell you you are just to get you in. David was a great salesman and really helpful. Will be doing business here again

Staff made me feel welcome and was part of a family. They didn't try to push me into a vehicle or services. They made the whole car buying process less stressful and super easy.

An update from my April 21,2023 purchase. My vehicle is STILL NOT REGISTERED due to DriveTime. I’ve been getting the run around for months. I leave to go out of the country on June 21st and still can’t get a straight answer about when the paperwork will be submitted to the real DMV from there middle man processor Wisdom & Authority in Chesapeake Virginia . At this point customer relations is also not really for the customer, it’s just a big circle of BS.

Everything!! My fiance was told the night before that he was pre qualified to drive home with one of many vehicles on lot.we even named the ones we were interested in and the Manager told him there wouldn't be any problems. We actually get to the appointment early. We test drive 2, chose the 2nd one. Then my fiance was asked could he put more down we agreed on 1000 more making that 5000 for him to be told there were only 2 vehicles on lot he could get. We were very upset and almost left and should, because my fiance was played hard and the vehicle will be going back tomorrow. There is no way he is paying 45,000 for a 17,000 truck that he already put 4600.00 on. Your staff doesn't need to lie to people to get them there just to let them down.

The sales associate was really great in explaining the process. I appreciated how detailed he was in going through every step of the buying process. Damion Spellmon was superb and did an excellent job.
