I can’t recommend Solihull Dulux Decorator Centre highly enough. The service was fantastic from start to finish, with a great range of products and a very welcoming atmosphere.
A special mention has to go to Jade, the store manager, who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely took the time to make sure we got exactly what we needed. Nothing was too much trouble, and her customer service really stood out.
It’s refreshing to find a store where staff clearly care about their customers. I’ll definitely be using this Decorator Centre again and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

Asked for RAL3003, Ruby Red. The in voice says RAL3003. The paint is the wrong shade and isn't close to the other mix of the same RAL number. It is clearly RAL3000, flame red. At the £47 for 1 litre (which seeme a bit steep) I'm not a happy customer. I want a refund.

Polyfilla One Fill is £19.28 in the Dulux store, it's £9.99 in Toolstation. How can they possibly justify that?! Shan't be going there ever again

I ordered Barn Paint from them as they were the cheapest I could find. I was told it would take a week for free delivery, which was fine. It actually arrived on my doorstep 2 days later and I received an text confirming delivery. Excellent service and I will use them again. Saved me loads of time and petrol costs.

Bought some vapour mate pads. They had them behind the counter, no price shown. I should have checked by they were over 50% more expensive than from tool station.
I guess my fault but I don’t have time to return and go elsewhere. I’ll know next time to not go there in the first place

Been using Paignton branch I’m a decorator from nearby and spending up to £2000 a month when I said I could get the paint from Brewers’s cheaper I was told by the assistants that they would price match for me which was great I went in a week later. I need to be told by I presume the manager of the Shop Chris that they won’t price match again for me and he has told both assistance in the shop they are not to do it for me. It seems to be if your face don’t fit you ain’t getting it. I will now be using Brewers all the time.

Amazing service. I ordered Dulux paint at 845am and they mixed it and delivered it by 1130am. And didn't even charge for delivery. The colour matching was perfect too. Definitely recommend them as I had been let down by Paint Shed with awful colour matching.

I’m deeply disappointed by the way my wife was treated in Walthamstow E17 shop.
She was spoken to in a rude and dismissive manner by a member of staff. Moments earlier, the same staff member was polite, smiling, and friendly towards a white customer. There was no reason whatsoever for such a sudden change in behaviour.
The contrast was so obvious that even other customers in the shop commented on how unacceptable it was. My wife left the shop in tears. When I later raised this with the same staff member, he dismissed the concern instead of apologising or showing any awareness.
We can see no explanation for this disgusting behaviour other than a blatant dislike of either her skin colour or her religious headscarf. No one should be treated this way. This incident has been formally reported to police and complained about, and I hope management takes it seriously.

I can’t understand why you can’t take back the extra role which I only took as a precaution.
Not happy.
However when I rang customer services at Dulux they sorted out my issue to my satisfaction via their customer services. Now that’s a great result.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I was told that it’s not possible to return or refund anything unless the manager is physically at work, which is completely unreasonable. I even had to travel 5 miles only to be told this in person, wasting my time and fuel.
On top of that, the so-called “discounts for small traders” are absolutely misleading. You can easily get Dulux Trade products cheaper from other retailers, so the discount claims feel fake and pointless. Overall, very poor service and not customer-friendly at all.

Went into Herald Way, Coventry today trying to get a colour-match from a tiny slither of paint and the lady at the desk was very helpful and patient, even though it was clear I had absolutely no idea what I was talking about.
Managed to get the colour I wanted at a great price, can recommend this branch.

I would like to congratulate the staff at The Dulux Decorator Centre Milton, Cambridge branch on their fantastic Customer Service. On every visit ( and there have been many) the advice and service has been outstanding - and it starts at the top with Sarah. Any problems are promptly dealt with and nothing is too much trouble. They are all a credit to the Company. Working in the Customer service industry myself it was a pleasure using this branch and I can't recommend them highly enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I used the Dulux Decorator Centre in Basildon and I can't rate them high enough. From walking through the door to leaving they were all friendly, helpful and offered great advice. Went there a few times before finalising our purchase and every visit was the same.
The staff there are a credit to Dulux

Went to them (Aberdeen) as it was on my way to work. I asked for easy care and kitchen. They said they don’t do them and said diamond Matt tinted and diamond eggshell tint was there better alternatives. I said okay and they mixed the colours. Even though the colours are off the shelf in the likes of B&Q. B&Q cost for 3x2.5 is around £85. These sharks charged me nearly £150; wasn’t made aware of the big difference in cost until I was at the till. Never again will I use them. Can’t even return them and go to B&Q instead as they’ve mixed the paint. Crazy how a deluxe shop don’t have easycare and kitchen and pre mixed yet 3rd parties do.

A terrible experience I had a few weeks ago. In March, I bought a Purdy extension pole there, which I used once right after purchase. The next time I used it was a few days ago, and that day it broke — it started collapsing, and I couldn’t paint with it. I took it back to the store, and the lady at the checkout told me she wouldn’t accept it because it was dirty and used. I replied that I don’t buy tools to collect them but to work with them, so it’s normal that it has some paint spots on it. Besides, it wasn’t a Wickes pole, it was Purdy — so I would expect to be able to use it more than twice (especially since I’ve had a painting pole from Wickes for years and it still works).
I felt outraged by the cashier’s behaviour and started arguing with her, saying it was a joke. After a moment, she went to speak with the manager, and when she came back, she repeated the same thing — that they wouldn’t take it back (the manager didn’t even bother to come out). I called customer service, and the lady at the help desk said they absolutely should accept it and send it back to the manufacturer. I asked her to call the store and explain that to the manager. Only after she called did a man come out, who simply took the pole, filled in a form, and took it away — I didn’t even get an apology for the way I was treated.
I’d like to add that I’m a trade customer and recently opened an account there to shop regularly. After this situation, I will definitely never set foot in that store again. I’ve opened an account with Brewers and that’s where I’ll be spending my money from now on.
The store is located in London (Feltham). I do not recommend this place!

Never again didn't scan colour sample gave me completely wrong colour.customer service sent me a limited voucher which was half useless even though they where provided proof of purchase and also had to buy more paint. Worst company ever dealt with!!!!

Terrible experience.
The paint I ordered is a completely different colour to the tester pot.
I sent photos to the store that delivered the order and this was their response:
‘I can see the issue. To be totally honest with you I don't have the answer to why it seems so different. I have checked the tinting process and that's correct. My only suggestion is to give our technical team a call.”
And that is the end of their help!!
Won’t be using Dulux Decorator Centre again!
