The car had no gas in it. The guy who helped did not speak up loud enough and communicate and I was charged extra

I rented a car from Easirent at Dublin Airport on Friday 17 July. I made my booking via stress free car rental. We made our way to pick up point to find a 2 couple had been informed no cars available and 3 other couple scrambling to get through to easirent reception. We joined as 4th couple waiting. One person got through. Their car was available. We then got passed the phone and one by one the rest of us were told no cars available and no alternatives offered. Everyone who wasn’t provided with a car had went through stress free car rental or another platform. The people provided cars appeared to book direct. We were told go back to platform used for refund. Being now on the day of rental required every other rental companies prices were extremely high. The other rental companies at Dublin informed me that easirent were notorious for letting people down and this was the 3rd day in a row this had happened to travellers at the airport. They are not allowed at the airport due to their dreadful business practices. What was meant to be a pleasant weekend started extremely fraught and we had to pay a high premium for a replacement car and now in dispute with Stress Free Car Rental to pay this. Don’t go near Easirent. Might appear cheaper but so unreliable you’ll end up paying way above.

First they need to have the car that you reserved. Then actually care that they don’t have the car. Charging me to take me off the airport property to the office is a joke. I hope to never have to rent a car from easirent again.

Great experience. They will charge you $500 deposit if you live in the city so just keep that in mind othewise all good.

Best experience . Was nice and easy got out fast . Darryl or Derrick our guy upgraded us . We will rent from them again . Love this place where they don’t take advantage.

The Service rep was great. He was efficient, friendly. Nice guy got me in and out quickly. The car was a little rough about 5 miles down the road a low tire pressure light came on which I’ve been monitoring. There’s a rock chip in the windshield and a weird dent in the front hood. The real issue is that the car smells of marijuana.

They handed the car over to me dirty and smelling strongly of cigarettes; they told me it was the only one available, so I had to accept it because I really needed it. I haven't received my deposit back yet; I returned the car on Sunday, and today is Wednesday, but I still haven't received the deposit.

This was one of the worst rental car experiences I have ever had. I’ve recently needed a rental car, almost monthly, for the last few months to handle business or vacation out of state. So I’m not new to the process. From the beginning to the end it was less than easy! Getting to the location sucked! Once there, the wait was long and unprofessional. Then they up-charged me to add a driver, added an out of state fee, and tagged on the damage waiver that I explicitly said I didn’t want. So my $198 four day rental turned into $451. Never again!!! I don’t care how cheap the quote is. Oh and the car smelled like cigarettes!

I will never rent from this company again and I will advise you not to as well. This company is not at the airport you have to shuttle over to pick up your car. This company asks for your insurance and if you don’t have your information they charge you $250 for their insurance. This company also states your insurance doesn’t cover windows and tires so you have to take out additional insurance coverage for that.(even though my insurance says all is covered. I had to pay for an EZPass that I didn’t use(still waiting for my refund). The car I paid for was dirty and smelled like cigarettes so I asked for another, they downgraded me to a lesser model and I did not get the difference in cost. The workers at this Jacksonville locations seemed overwhelmed and they were definitely understaffed. (However, the young man at the counter was extremely polite).
This company is in my opinion horrible!!

Tameria was amazing from start to finish! Very helpful and friendly. The process was easy and I never felt confused :) 10/10 would rent through again!

I had a very disappointing experience with this car rental company. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional, showing no respect or courtesy toward customers. Their customer service was unacceptable, and they made the entire rental process frustrating and stressful.

I would not recommend renting a car from this place. You will likely waste your money, your time, and your patience. There are many other rental companies that value their customers and provide much better service. Save yourself the hassle and rent elsewhere.

We waited just under 50min to be picked up in courtesy van at airport. Then the van could only take drivers as the van was small. I had to drive back to the airport and pay a fee to pick up the rest of my family afterwards. On top of this the queue in the actual rental office was 40 minutes. I highly recommend to avoid this company.

I booked this rental through Priceline and when I arrived they made me pay an extra 125$ for unlimited mileage (25$ a day) when i already booked it with unlimited mileage from priceline

Extremely poor customer service and shady practices – Avoid Easirent! (Booking Ref: 115598)

I am deeply disappointed with my experience. They take your money, fail to deliver services, and completely ghost you afterwards. Here are the facts:

* Missing Services (£60 Linen Option): I paid £60 for the linen option, which was supposed to include towels. No towels were provided. I have been completely ignored on WhatsApp for over 3 weeks regarding this partial refund.

* The Gas Tank Trick: We paid for a second gas tank, which remained completely unused and sealed. At the counter during the return, we asked for a refund. The staff told us they would email management to request it, so we left the tank with them. If we had known they would refuse, we would have kept it to give to another camper, since we paid for it and it belonged to us! Instead, they emailed us after we left, refusing the refund because "they did nothing wrong". They tricked us into leaving a paid asset behind, meaning they will now resell a gas tank to another customer that we already paid for. This is theft.

* Unannounced £1,500 Deduction: A month after returning the vehicle, they debited £1,500 from my account with absolutely no prior warning or update regarding the insurance timeline, causing an avoidable overdraft on my account. They refuse to provide an itemized repair invoice, leaving me with a generic receipt that my external insurance cannot process.

They clearly have no ethics. Once they have your credit card details, they do whatever they want. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere.

Worst rental car ever. Car was wrecked all the way around. Stinks to high hell and not even clean. Do not rent from these people

The representative online did not provide accurate information, and the pricing was misleading. I was overcharged, and when I questioned it, the staff attempted to justify the higher cost rather than address my concerns.

The vehicle was originally scheduled to be returned on 07/17/2026; however, I returned it on 07/14/2026. Despite returning the vehicle three days early, I was informed by a representative that I would not receive a refund for the unused rental days. This was not clearly disclosed during the rental process and added to my dissatisfaction with the experience. I believe I should be refunded for the unused rental days.

In addition, the vehicle was not properly cleaned. Both the interior and exterior were dirty, the tire pressure was low, and the windshield wipers did not function properly. To make matters worse, there appeared to be blood residue on the interior roof of the vehicle, which was extremely concerning and unacceptable.

I have photographs and video recordings documenting the condition of the vehicle and supporting the concerns outlined above.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The condition of the vehicle, the lack of transparency regarding pricing and refunds, and the poor customer service fell far below reasonable expectations. I would not use this company again and would not recommend it to others.
