Great sessions - organised, positive, and with personalised feedback from the coaches. Our child is new to goalkeeping (he’s always played outfield) and wanted to develop the fundamentals and have more targeted training. ELGA came recommended, so we initially booked a taster session.

He loved the taster and immediately wanted to join the training block. His confidence is growing each week, and the small group numbers mean he gets a lot out of every session - plenty of technical work, application, and fun.

There’s also a genuine community feel, progress is celebrated.

My son has come on leaps and bounds with East Lancashire Goalkeeping Academy. With the smaller groups the trainers are all equally fantastic at managing them all. They are firm but are keen for them to learn and push them to the best of their abilities. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a young goal keeper as will increase their abilities along with their confidence.

My little boy is 7 and has been at the goal keeping academy for a few months , the encouragement for the children is amazing. He has improved and gained in confidence so much he has now got his 1st team as their goal keeper. We look forward to the coaching every week.

My son has attended for approximately 8 weeks. Superb set up, coaches are approachable and friendly and cater to all abilities. I’m enjoying watching my son progress. Keep up the great work, no wonder goalies come from far and wide

For several years, my son has been part of ELGA, taking part in enjoyable weekly sessions, GK camps, and personalized 1-2-1 lessons. Over this period, I've seen a remarkable improvement in both his gameplay and self-assurance. The weekly sessions focus on swiftly and enjoyably building essential skills, ensuring every moment is used effectively without downtime. It's a fantastic organization, truly a goalkeeping community, where coaches are readily available for guidance.

This is a well run academy, the smaller groups for age group and ability reassures me that my child is learning and growing in the best way possible. The feedback from the coaches to my child is immediate so there's lots of time to adapt and grow and learn from in that moment. My son has been left in good hands here and my only regret is that we didn't find the place sooner!

My son has attended ELGA for a few months now and has come on leaps and bounds both in confidence and skills he is now starting to bring into his games. The coaches are second to none and teach the children in a very strutcted but also fun manner. My son absolute loves going to training and eagerly awaits it every week! I really can't rate them highly enough.

My son has been at ELGA for 6 weeks. The sessions are fun and structed so that skills are built on week on week. Every week he is excited to go and learns something new from each session. He transfers these valuable skills into his games and is rapidly growing in confidence as a player. Shout out to the brilliant coaches who are fantastic role models to the kids. Highly recommend. East Lancashire Goalkeeping Academy have really help my son Finlay come on with loads of confidence and new skills to help him with his football games and it’s really paying off, can’t recommend them enough, thank you x

Excellent atmosphere and outstanding coaching skills. The coaches pause the session to explain and highlight areas for improvement in a positive and productive way. I recommend this to any goalkeepers looking to enhance their skill set.

My son has so much fun and is extremely happy whilst learning and improving each week.

Great coaching in a fun environment has improved my son's skills and confidence in the nets. This has transferred into matches where he regularly is praised and receives MOTM awards. Couldn't recommend any higher for any budding GKs.

My son has been going to ELGA now for a few month and his improvement since starting has been amazing! He enjoys every session & has been taught so much already it’s worth every penny! He’s also attended the Easter Camp for 2 days this week. He’s absolutely loved it! The coaches are fantastic with the kids (especially Crossy, whose wit and banter fits great with my son), he goes above & beyond to make the kids enjoy every session! I would highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you to all at ELGA!

My sons both enjoyed their time with ELGA.
They have taken part in the group sessions and also had some 1-1 lessons .
Both of which they thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from.
It built up their confidence and ability and I would highly recommend to any young keepers out there who want to improve, have fun , learn and fine tune their goalkeeping .

My son has always been in defence. After the goalie stepped down in his team, Marcus put himself forward to take over as no one else offered. It was apparent he was not scared of the ball as he would quite happily put himself in its direction. He also had a mean left kick on him but he would save goals using his feet or hands. He would not throw himself/dive onto the floor (and let's face it, who would, it's not natural) so when I was told about ELGA, I had high hopes. He has attended 3 blocks of 4 weeks and the difference is incredible. Parents and coaches of his team have all said the difference in him is phenomenal. Although he can't attend at the mo,due to having training and PE on the same day - he said he wants to rejoin as he is missing it. The coaches are supportive, welcoming and know what they are on about. The kids don't get the same level of training at their regular clubs. Would highly recommend to anyone whose child is a goalie or is thinking of becoming.

My son has attended ELGA for several years, enjoying weekly sessions, GK camps and 1-2-1s. During this time, he has developed significantly in both his game and confidence. Weekly sessions are based on the progression of key skills in a fast and fun manner - no waiting around, no wasted minutes. A great set up and a true GK union where the coaches are always on hand for advice.

Noah has been attending ELGA since they began. I truly cannot fault the training and Noah loves attending. A complete 10/10 from us. Both his teams have noticed a massive difference in his performance and ability. Noah has recently received a review saying ‘possibly the best keeper in our league’ and ‘one of the best ever seen in the U10’s’. We only have the guys at ELGA to thank for their great commitment and dedication to each of their goalies. Another thing, they don’t overcrowd their groups either so each child gets the attention and communication that’s fitting for them. Keep up the good work guys!!

Rufus has only been attending ELGA for a few months but the growth in his skill and confidence is clear for all to see. This is due to the dedication knowledge skill and application of their brilliant coaches. All of the coaches know their craft and are passionate about what they do, the sessions they teach are well planned and the drills they run keep the keepers on their toes and interested. Their is the right balance between fun learning and diciplin and this allows continued enjoyment and development throughout each age group. What I like most is that when someone gets something wrong they rewind step by step talk them through it and explain why, educating rather than berating which can knock people confidence especially in young players.

This group will grow from strength to strength and the make this all possible, thank you for your hard work and dedication ELGA in helping my son aspire to become the best he can be, and do something that he loves.

My child has been attending the weekly training sessions for around 6 months now and loves these sessions. The coaches are all amazing and great with the players. Having a session fully dedicated to just goalkeeping has really made a difference and has improved my child’s confidence and ability.

My son Isaiah has only been going for a few weeks but I can already see a massive difference in his skills. He has fun, he's always smiling during training and always wants to come back to the next session!
