The website takes your money for expedited shipping but does not have the item in stock. They never tell you that it is not in stock.
False advertisement! I order 3 wigs and paid for them to get to me in 2 days with UPS Ground expedited shipment. Well get to the delivery date and No alerts or heads up anything. When I placed the order it does not state that it is not in stock, It states same day shipping not out of stock. So I contacted them wondering where my order was and that was when I was told that they were waiting on 1 of my items. I told them I was not aware that it was not in stock so they told me that I could get a refund for the 1 wig but kept my shipping fee and taxes. Still waiting on order to ship but Never again!

Wig - wrong color
I order product from the company. The company sent me the wrong item. The email had the product in it with the color.
Now the company wants to charge me restocking fee for their mistake. I should not be charged for restocking because of their lack of attention to detail when shipping out the product.
I should not have to pay to ship product back, and I should not be charged restocking fees. This is poor business practice.

I have been patronizing the Ebonyline.com for over 10 years and I wish I could say it has been a stellar experience. Unfortunately, the customer service is poor. On multiple occasions, I have placed orders for products that are out of stock unbeknownst to me. I have purchased from other sites that will label the item as out of stock so that the customer does not purchase items that they will not receive. For some reason, ebonyline.com does not have that feature, so customers are able to pay their money for an item that is not available. Unfortunately, they do not make it a practice to inform the customer that the item(s) they purchased are out of stock. So after purchasing the unavailable item(s), and paying for the shipping option of your choice, you will be waiting and wondering where your products are. The only way to get this information is by either calling or emailing them directly. In my opinion, this is not how to conduct business. Should you choose to pay for the faster shipping options (2nd or next day), you may or may not receive it. Which is unfair to the customer. Initially, I thought this was a rare occurrence which is why I continued to use their site. However, I learned that this is a very regular occurrence that is done all the time on this site. I have since found a new site that has a vast option of products and as long as you make your purchase before 5pm, you will receive your items the very NEXT DAY! Any items that are out of stock are clearly marked on their site, so you don't have to worry about purchasing something unavailable and waiting additional time to receive it. I have been utilizing them for a few years now and I am ecstatic with their services. There lies the difference between great customer service and poor customer service. I am happy to say that I will not be utilizing the ebonyline services anymore.
This is sold as a lace front wig
This is sold as a lace front wig, but it has a very large wig band that the lace front is attached to. There is no point of the lace front because one small move of the front dread locs will reveal the thick wig band. The rest of the wig is a fishnet cap with the dreads about two inches apart leaving a hold lot of open space. The color is horrible and dread locs are very short looking nothing like the picture. This wig would be find for Halloween on a trick or treat night only. DO NOT BUY THIS UGLY WIG!!
The return policy needs to be changed
The return policy needs to be changed. They don’t allow refunds unless it’s not touched at all whatsoever. No try on, no cutting off tag, it has to be in the package so how am I supposed to know if I like the way it looks if I’m not allowed to wear it on my head? It’s not fair.

I ordered items on Aug 16 and paid for priority shipping because the website said would arrive by Aug 21. They waited until Aug 26 to tell me most of my order wasn’t in stock and they would NOT refund me for priority shipping. Unless I wanted standard shipping. It was supposed to be here a week ago! Because they waited last minute to tell me they didn’t have the items I had to cancel the appointments losing so much money and not to mention what this does for the image of my business. Unlike them I actually care about my customers. Don’t ship here!
Return policy is awful
Return policy is awful. You actually would lose money by returning any item. They have a 20% restocking fee and you have to pay the shipping back to them. So their return policy is more or less a deterrent for you to return items back to them. I won’t deal with them again I will order from other companies from here on out.

I've ordered from this company for years and have been satisfied except for my last two orders in two months. Got right item but wrong color. The stock card had the wrong color on it but, the outside packaging has the right color on it, now this is on the same item, two different colors on same item.Sent back 1st time,reordered again in color I wanted,waited weeks and got the exact same thing back,still wrong & same still wrong packaging, think it's same one I sent back.

They NEVER ship same day advertisements within promised time. They actually don’t even ship items the next day either. Ordered from here multiple times and they ship all orders when they feel like it.

On edge wating (first experience)
Well, I am not really sure how to rate this company yet, but after reading all of the reviews, I suddenly feel that I've made a huge mistake! I just placed my first order on yesterday, and was told the the order would ship the same day. However, apparently it did not ship, because there is no update stating that it shipped. I get bad vibes in hindsight of placing my order, so right now I can't give a positive review.
Keeping my fingers crossed that things work out and if so, I'll come back to this site and update my experience with an honest rating. Order#: 2017279

Wig received in bad condition
I ordered a wig that arrived damaged. Even though I informed them of the issue and provided photographic evidence, they refused to address it. They asked me to return the item at my own expense without providing a return label, knowing that they were responsible for the inconvenience. No compensation was offered to me. I do not recommend this company, as they lack a sense of customer service.

I’m very satisfied with my purchases, of the Manhattan Girl wig color 3T, and especially 3T/613. This is the only site that has this wig and color 3T/613. I’ve been trying to find this wig for years and I checked ebony line one more time and it was there. Aneliz from ebony line is so professional and friendly, always got back to me and made sure my questions were answered.

Great customer service, I was emailing a customer representative ZAHID who let me know immediately after I emailed them about an product that was not available in there warehouse to ship it out and ZAHID informed me they had to get the product from the manufacturer but instead ZAHID informed me that I can replace my product with a different product that was already available in stock. I am really appreciative of there great customer service.
