Echo finance limited have been great from start to finish. Elliot Whitehead has been amazing - great communication, really helpful advice which really set my partner and I at ease throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a new mortgage :)

We always have a great experience working with Mark. From the outset he is friendly and approachable and historically he has made the mortgage process much less daunting for us. He explains things clearly and is always available to answer our questions, no matter how small or insignificant they might seem. Mark shows a genuine interest in us which makes him stand out in a service industry.

Recently I’ve been impressed by his proactive approach to our remortgage. Mark has been very forward thinking and he anticipates any potential issues or concerns we may have, and he doesn’t push us one way or the other.

Most importantly and most evidently, Mark comes across as genuinely trustworthy. We feel confident that he has our best interests at heart throughout each process, and we trust his advice, which makes a huge difference.

Worst Mortgage Broker Experience - Avoid!

Seriously, don't waste your time with this broker. There are far better options out there.

I engaged them to remortgage a property, and for over four weeks, absolutely nothing was accomplished. My file sat with Senior Broker "R.N." for a month with zero movement. He'd receive updates from the bank or vendor and then pass them to me a week later. After a month of this stagnation, he finally informed me he was no longer interested in my file.

The most frustrating part? I went to another broker, and within just four days, my file was already with the lender's solicitors.

What's truly baffling is that it was for the same lender, , who this broker (Echofinance) couldn't do anything with a whole month wasted.

This was, without a doubt, the worst mortgage broker experience I've ever had.

No information was concealed. The same information i gave you is what i gave the other broker, and i got results in only 4 days

He has been absolutely fantastic from start to finish, no question too many, always available if I had a query, was friendly, professional and took the stress and strain out of arranging and sorting a remortgage. We dealt with a great guy named Robert Holmes he was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, he arranged a remortgage and additional lending for home improvements and sorted life and critical illness cover out to protect our future within a matter of weeks. I was delt with by a lady called Christine Gibson. Fantastic lady, very professional and polite and really knew her stuff. It cannot of been the easiest mortgage tosecure but she did it at the lowest rate quoted by anyone. The full process was guided by her and made a lot easier for me. Due to me being a first time buyer, useless at being able to process paperwork and being very ill at the time of wanting to purchase a property, my work colleague recommended using this company.

Mark Collender has been an absolute godsend in making things happen even whilst I was in hospital. Multiple false starts and when finally finding a property that was purchasable, Mark having to deal with inept estate agents. There is no possible way that I could have dealt with all of this on my own and even though the property is sold subject to contract, Mark is there to deal with any queries that I have.
Many thanks for all that you have done Mark. But I think you know how much I have appreciated it.
