We had problems with Ecolab’s dishwasher from the very first day it was installed. During approximately three years of paid rental service, the machine malfunctioned almost every week. On some days, technicians had to visit two or three times, yet Ecolab never properly identified or permanently repaired the problem, nor did they replace the unreliable machine.

At one point, a technician did not have the proper part and asked us for aluminum foil from our own kitchen to use as a temporary fix inside the machine. We were also discouraged from contacting them on weekends because of technicians’ family events or personal commitments. I respect employees’ personal time, but restaurants operate on weekends and we were paying monthly for equipment and service.

Even one of Ecolab’s own representatives/technicians acknowledged that the situation was not right and understood our position.

Instead of providing a proper repair or replacement, Ecolab suddenly gave us 30 days’ notice that it was terminating the rental. The original termination notice even named a completely different restaurant. After I submitted a detailed formal complaint, the manager sent only a generic apology and the same notice with the business name corrected. He did not answer why the machine was never properly fixed, what would happen to our unused chemicals, when billing would stop, or whether any resolution would be offered.

The machine has now been removed, but the manager has still not responded to my follow-up emails or text messages. There has been no meaningful explanation, resolution, or written confirmation regarding the remaining chemicals and final charges.

After three years of recurring equipment failures, ineffective repairs, poor communication, and monthly payments, this is how Ecolab chose to end the relationship. This entire experience has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I cannot recommend Ecolab to other restaurant owners.

This disgusting company is responsible for removal of my deceased pet, without giving any notice, notifying vets, or any neighbours, in which I lived directly next door. Not licensed to dispose of pets. But they did anyway. They are lucky I wasn’t there, as there would have been both ambulance and police arrive if I was. Dispicable human behaviour with zero regard for others.

Driver in van with license plate Cvd5827 AB on 20 July 2026 at 7:15 AM in Taber AB was driving irresponsibly and honking at everyone and was showing everyone middle finger. Employees are the face of company and it shows what kind of company it is.

I paid $20k for my system and was supposed to get service for 2 years included. Never got service. Had several leaks and then keep getting bills for monthly maintenance. I tried calling and can never get anyone on the phone. then they send someone to my business to pick up my tanks! Beware!

They are criminals! Do not trust this company!

Disgusting company! They recently gridded in pigeons and trapped them behind. One pigeon was seen to be hanging by their wing from the outside of the gridding for hours as no-one would come out to help. This pigeon likely died an agonising slow death with a broken wing! Ecolab disturbed active nests, and believed to have injured birds, which is a clear breach of the Wildlife Legislation. They have been reported to Essex Council and the Wildlife Crime Unit.

Disgusting company traps pigeons behind mesh leaving them to starve to death. Kills the chicks in nests . Paid animal abusers

Our cafe closed on short notice due to a termination of the lease between the landlord and freeholder. We have notified ECOLAB of this situation with 3 months notice that we will cease trading on those premises and that we would not require the service after 31.12.2024.

They continued to charge us after that date with no services provided. This was a force majeure issue to terminate the contract . This was brought to their attention multiple times, with no resolution or succes.

They have passed us to a debt collection agency due to a £226 pound "debt" for which they did NOT lift a finger !!!

disgusting company. their version of pest control is literally just torturing animals in plain view of the public. shooting them with rubber pellets and leaving them to slowly die, trapping them with netting so that the public can watch them slowly starve to death. just horrible!

This brand will take your money, take your blood sample and literally say FU. They won’t send your test results even when you indicate it is urgent. You will call multiple times and it will never go through. Don’t waste your time going there, especially the branch at wuse 2, Abuja. they would lie about turn around time, just to get your money cos that’s all they want. don’t fall for it. It would be an absolute waste of your time.

We have been with Ecolab since June 2024 and have found them fantastic. They provide our pest control services and they are always thorough and a pleasure to deal with.
We get a notification within minutes of them leaving our site with a report on any pest activity found.
We've just had a visit today from two of their reps, David and Chuk, and they were fantastic. They took a look at our current services to ensure we were on the most up to date plan and were able to offer advice on other areas of pest control that we may potentially be looking at down the line, advising us on what to do and what not buy to make sure we're getting value for money.
We have had nothing but positive experience with Ecolab since we started using them and would happily recommend them.

This company have trapped pigeons in netting on a bridge in wigan where they will die a slow painful death ...just cruel

We have used this company for over 15 years, but sadly in the last half of this year the service has failed on numerous occasions, waiting over 3 months but as of today the service has sill not resumed satisfactorily

Everymonth Get monthly service charges BUT IN FEW MONTHS never show up to do the service.

As others have written: Disorganized , lack of communication, arrogant attitude. Just an overall poor image. An awful way to do "business".

Was driving down highway 56 in Kansas and the driver was going to stop and pretty much us stop on the highway for the drivers dumbass. What kind of people do you have working for you

We have been trying for over a month to get our Ecolab dishwasher repaired. I’ve left more than 10 messages for service with no response. Out of frustration, I called again and chose “Sales” instead of “Service,” and my call was answered right away. Clearly, sales inquiries are more important to them than helping existing customers. Very sad and extremely disappointing service.
