The installation of my new Aga went brilliantly. Toby and Josh were superb. They took great trouble to remove the old Aga causing the minimum of dust - they worked extremely hard without taking any breaks. They were very skilled, helpful and considerate. The new Aga was put in place with great care. Toby gave clear instructions of how to operate it.
It would not have been possible for the job to have been done better.

We originally purchased our new AGA (eR7 100-3) just over 2 years ago. Due to delays in our house restoration project after being let down by two local building companies, we have only today had our new AGA installed. The customer service by Caroline Sturgess has been magnificent throughout. The installation by Alex and Josh was the epitome of professionalism. I have no hesitation in recommending Edwards&Godding.

We had a great experience with this small business from start to finish. Caroline was very helpful. Ed did a site visit which was beneficial. The fitters were good and explained how to use the Aga as we were complete novices. We absolutely love our Aga and pleased with the Aga cookware which we really appreciated .

Very professional - and unflappable! - service installing a new electric AGA into a very tight space. Delighted with the results.

Delighted with both the new electric AGA we purchased from Edwards and Godding ER3i to be delivered in time for Christmas. We originally ordered in September but they held the AGA in their warehouse until we were able to have the electric connections installed. In the meantime their engineers surveyed the kitchen and did the prep work with our floor, also taking away the existing vintage oil AGA and flue pipe.

Engineers came promptly in the morning, having stayed locally overnight as we are in East Anglia, and were friendly and polite throughout. E&G carried out this work at a notable cost saving compared with our local AGA dealer. Would recommend.

I had a wonderful experience from the start to finish with E&G. They were honest, insightful, helpful throughout and their fitter was simply amazing. We wanted a blue Aga but not the same blue we always had and samples of every colour we were considering were immediately dispatched. Have you ever seen two men tip an Aga into place?? And not injure themselves? Well that was them. Thank you Caroline for all your care and attention, and everyone else involved. As a new customer all I wanted was my 480CD Rayburn serviced, I used their web contact form and the email address listed and both returned a demand for full payment by bank transfer……does this reek of a web scam? Yes, that’s what I thought so I called them only to have this reinforced by the lady on the phone….”it’s our terms of business” she said.
So, judging buy the other reviewers who slate them I have decided to give them a wide berth and hopefully warn others to do the same…..I really hope those thinking about buying new read these reviews and be on their guard.
Aside, my Rayburn has always, and will I’m sure continue to be a useless piece of junk, these overweight turds only sell because of their history….new ones are rubbish

Worst company I’ve ever worked a ton of overtime and weekend not paid didn’t even pay full salary deducted £750 for me when I left which is wrong from employment rights act, 1960

Penny Zako, global AGA ambassador and Brenna from Edwards & Godding have just run another of their fabulous AGA demos. This Christmas cookery demonstration was great. Penny explained all of her recipes and AGA hints and tips so clearly and calmly, whilst Brenna organised everything and answered all Zoom participants questions.I now feel able to enjoy my Christmas cooking on my AGA R7150i with confidence. I thoroughly recommend these Zoom demos to all AGA owners! Thank you

I have used E&G to service my Rayburn for over 20 years. This year, 48 hours before the service date, they informed me that the year-on-year cost had increased by 75%. Yes, you read that correctly: a 75% increase!
How any company can justify that increase is beyond me.
I would encourage anyone with a Rayburn to search for another service engineer.

Amazing experience. Engineers were clean, tidy, respectful of our property and couldn’t have been more helpful. Thoroughly recommend. 5 Stars!

I am so glad that I chose Edwards & Godding (E & G) when considering buying an AGA. I was slightly overwhelmed with the many different AGAs available. However, after speaking with E & G they arranged to send someone out to have a look at my kitchen and advise further. Between us we chose the e3 90 AGA and one was promptly ordered. E & G kept me informed all the way from ordering to installing. The installers were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them. They went through the programmes with me and patiently answered my questions. Everything went so smoothly that there was no stress involved whatsoever. If you want a smooth uncomplicated, friendly service, and you want to come away with something that is suitable for you, then E & G are the ones to choose. A small family business with a tradition of excellence and who I totally recommend.

Edwards and Godding or Reading have v poor customer service The leadership do not seem to understand what an aga service is and then try to sell u a £20k AGA .... total waste of time speaking to them ....

Our superb AGA cooker was recently (March 2021) expertly delivered and installed by Mark and Chad. We would like to thank Caroline and Ed for their excellent service, help and advice throughout and making the purchase an enjoyable experience.

If you enjoy going to court buy an aga from. Edwards and godding. The only good that came out of being sued by them was to NEVER EVER havivg them in my house again. I purchased a Lacanch from a store in London so have had the satisfaction of denying them profiteering from that purchase or any servicing. There are much better engineers around, never use this sub standard company.

Excellent service, would highly recommend. I had my new Lacanche range delivered and the service was excellent. The entire ordering process was easy and stress free even under the curent difficult circumstances of 2020. Fitting service is fabulous. The fitters that removed the old range cooker and fitted the new one were absolutely brilliant. Would definitely recommend and absolutely use again in the future. Really pleased.

We have used these guys for 20 years and they fitted our Aga all that time ago - over the last few years continuous problems - having to get them back/continual replacing of equipment due to sub standard work.

Latest is their engineer came to start boiler after summer break and caused issues with our hot water system - meaning we had a bill for a call out from a plumber.

Their customer care shocking - they go straight to court for payment when I had paid their bill less the amount paid to the plumber for the mess they left us in.

They were unsympathetic - relentless in chasing the balance - gave up in the end paid them and WON'T USE THEM AGAIN!

I will write to AGA and tell them they need to consider thes egiys as their AD.........

We have used E&G for over 15 years but when our aga developed a problem in early December we were offered an engineer visit in mid-January. I explained that this would ruin Christmas but that made no difference. I subsequently found an engineer more local to us who came out within 24 hours and fixed the problem. He also resolved a long standing problem that the E&G engineers had ignored for years. And he was 40% cheaper!

There is a real reason these people have not got a good review on trustpilot. We spend £13,000 on an aga with these people. The aga wasn’t the one ordered, it came scratched, the induction hob was an issue, they replaced that but caught a wire, blew the electrics, blew a washing machine, left us without use of the appliance for several weeks as they are very much in demand. None of that was their fault. In fact nothing is ever their fault. 12 months later we have an oven that has rust that you might expect to see on an oven that is 30 years old. Turns out they put the vent on upside down. Aga confirmed that was E&Gs fault but they deny it and as they have he worst customer service you can imagine it is like speaking to a very rude 5 year old. Not their fault, they don’t like being accused, they will be nasty. Lovely.

Avoid E & G at all costs.
