She brought the antiquities to life for us and we left thoroughly enthralled.

Recently my son and I traveled to Egypt. Our tour guide in Cairo was Riham arranged by Egypt Tours Portal. She was excellent, very knowledgeable about the sites we visited. She took beautiful pictures of us with great monuments in the background which I posted in my Facebook account for my friends to see which they loved. She was right on time and very helpful. I would strongly recommend her for anyone visiting Egypt. She deserves five stars.

Our day guided trip tour to Luxor today has been magnificent. Beyond the truly unbelievable ancient constructions and history of Egypt, we would like to stress that the company organizing the tour has been very reliable, as well as the driver Mr Salah and our lovely guide Ms Marian Azer. She was perfectly fluent in English and made this journey truly enjoyable. She only explained the relevant parts while giving us enough time to wonder around and get inspired by these amazing temples, graves and memorials. Thank you very much

Our family had a great experience in Cairo visiting the Giza pyramids, GEM and Cavern Catholic church. This is all due to our tour guide for his knowledge sharing skills about these historic sites. Added bonus is he is the best photographer and we will have forever memories of our visit in Cairo thanks to the photos taken by him. Again thank you so much Ahmad Abo El Magd.

We had a wonderful trip to Egypt with Egypt Tours Portal. Everything was planned perfectly by the company right from initial Cairo airport pickup and then throughout all the sight-seeing trips. Communication with them through email and whatsapp was smooth. We never had to worry about getting from place to the other and were ensured all the important sights were toured. Hotels booked were great too. Overall, I would definitely recommend this company if you are planning a trip to Egypt.

A big thanks to all the wonderful tour guides but especially to Bassant Gamil (Cairo), Amr Mekky (Aswan/Abu Simbel) and Samar Nagi (Luxor). They were wonderful guides, helped us understand the deep history of all the places we visited and were accessible whenever we had questions. Highly recommend these guides!

Mina Magda was our tour guide on Niel River Cruise he made things super easy, contact me the night before to let me know where he would be waiting for us after we get off the airport! He communicate with us everyday to keep us updated on what activity we will need to do so there's no surprises.. super intelligence on his history! Definitely recommend him!

Our experienced and kind guide Hussein El Mouneir made us feel welcome, comfortable and kept us on time to fit in the highlights/sites we were excited to visit. We appreciated his asking if we had enough time at each stop, giving us an overview of our days and providing us with recommended tipping amounts for all of our local service providers (drivers, room attendants, luggage handlers, etc.). We also really appreciated his offer for us to visit one of the temples in Luxor at night versus during the day like the other temples we visited there to see it beautifully lit and giving us a different perspective on the amazing structure and statues there. He was always willing to take photos for us (and he's good at it too). We were together for five days, but had plenty of time to ourselves with him always reachable via text if we needed him for anything. The only disappointment we encountered was missing the opportunity to take a much anticipated hot air balloon ride in Luxor. When we asked if we could book it (something our tour coordinator said would be possible when we arrived), Hussein told us balloons wouldn't be flying the one and only day we could go given our schedule. However, the morning we wanted to go we discovered that the balloons did fly and that many of our fellow river cruise travelers had gone raving about what an incredible experience it was. Overall, we enjoyed our time, the peace of mind he provided and what we learned from Hussein during our time together.

We had a fantastic experience with Egypt Portal Tours! From the very beginning, their communication was excellent, and the airport pick-up and assistance through customs made our arrival completely stress-free.

The itinerary was very comprehensive, allowing us to see most of the must-visit sights across Egypt in a short time. A true highlight of the trip was our tour guide, Bassant. She was incredibly flexible, helpful, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. She really made the experience special for us; we genuinely felt like family during the three days we spent together.

If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the pace of the schedule. It was quite hectic at times, with very early mornings and late or early flights, which left us feeling more exhausted than expected. We also wish we had more time to enjoy the beautiful accommodations in Aswan and Luxor.

Overall, though, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend Egypt Portal Tours to anyone looking to explore Egypt in a well-organized and memorable way!

The customer service is exceptional and Walaa, my contact, provided outstanding service before and during my tour.
The hotels they choose are great but you don't really get to enjoy much of it as the rythme of the tour is quite intense with some days with very early start (4am) and some days with very long drive (8h return trip) but the transportation is always organised in very comfortable and new vehicles of all sizes so that helps.
The only disappointment for me was the Cruise between Aswan and Luxor. First of all, on Day 1 of the cruise, you don't sail and stay in Aswan port till Day 2 afternoon. When in the port, the ships are parked next to each other in a sandwich so even though the room has a big window you are in the dark and facing another boat.
This is like that also on Day 3 as the only night that the ship is sailing is Day 2.
The other big issue for me is that I specifically asked for a quiet room as I am a light sleeper and needed to rest but unfortunatly I ended up in a room just above the engine at the back of the boat and that was a nightmare.
Walaa did his best to solve this issue and managed to get me another room at the front of the boat but that was only for the last night.
However, when the ship is sailing, you get beautiful views of the Nile, food on the boat is great and there is also good service so if you make sure to have a room at the front of the boat then you should have a great time :-)
Visits were also great with free time to explore each temples or tombs and special thanks to Reda in Cairo who is a beautiful person and I enjoying discovering Cairo and its surrounding with him.

We had the best time in Luxor with our tour guide Ghada. She was very accommodating and knowledgeable and we learned so much from her. I highly recommend her and Egypt Tours if you're thinking of coming to Egypt.

The Nile cruise was picturesque. Walid Ahmed has a true passion for Egyptology. He was very knowledgeable and made getting around for us very easy. The transfers were seamless and he gave us the perfect amount of time at each site.

Ahmed was super knowledgeable and attentive. He really explained all the key info that we needed to know about the history of Egypt. Loved our experience and would love to pick Ahmed's brain on history again!

My wife of 40 years and I have travelled extensively. Our trip to Egypt was memorable even though I have been before. Our tour guide for Luxor through to Aswan and Abu Simbel was Omar Haridi who took it to another level. Thankyou Omar, mashi mashi.

Overview: 14-day part-private and part-small group tour of key Egypt’s and Jordan’s principal attractions; 11 days in Egypt, 3 days in Jordan.
Pricing: Tour price included hotels, 3-day Nile River Cruise, at least 2 meals per day (3 meals per day on the Nile Cruise and at Hurghada), guides and drivers, in-country airfare, admission to all attractions, meet and greet services, and airport transfers. I believe that the cost that we were quoted was a good value for the services that were provided.
What We Did: Marehan at ETP arranged the tour and put together a fantastic itinerary. Cairo: Grand Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza, and a Nile River dinner cruise. 3+day Nile River Cruise visiting: Philae, Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Karnak, Luxor, and Hatshepsut Temples; Valley of the Kings; and several other notable and interesting sites. Hurghada: 2-day stay at a semi-all-inclusive resort. Cairo (again): National Egyptian Museum, Citadel, and the bazaar. Jordan: 4 days including St. George’s Church in Madaba, Mt. Nebo, and a Dead Sea resort; Petra; and Wadi Rum.
All tour events were private with the exception of the tours while embarked aboard the Nile River Cruise Ship which included other Egypt Tours Portal guests that were traveling on a variety of itineraries (16 guests).
Guides and Drivers: Our tour guides were Ahmed Elgohary in Cairo, Nour Atef on the Nile Cruise, and “Sammy” in Petra. I am taking the time to recognize these guys because they are the best guides we have had on any tour that we have taken. I can’t say enough about these guys…they are walking encyclopedias of Egyptian and Jordanian history and culture. These guys know the in’s and out’s of where to go, what to see, and what to do. I also have to mention our professional drivers in Cairo and in Jordan, Mohammed and Murad… great conversationalists and safety conscious to help keep your mind at ease.
Accommodations: Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo (our favorite), the Jolie Ville Island Resort in Luxor (really nice), and the Swiss Inn Resort in Hurghada. Our Nile Cruise was aboard the M/S Royal Amira Princess. In Jordan: Landmark Hotel in Amman (undergoing renovation), the Petra Old Village in Petra (a quaint, smaller hotel), and the Mazayen Luxury Camp at Wadi Rum (certainly not luxury and has some interesting rules and restrictions, but the best home-cooked dinner we had on this or any other trip we have taken).
Provided Meals: I have no complaints with the meals that were provided. Each meal was excellent, plentiful, and had a wide variety of choices to meet your dietary needs and desires. Be prepared to pay for drinks, including water in some cases.
Final Words: No regrets. Egypt Tours Portal did an excellent job putting this tour together for us. We saw what we wanted to see and dealt with quality professionals from the tour's planning stage through completion. It was the right mix for us between private tours and group tours. Pricing was fair and reasonable and optional excursions were available through the guides and drivers if you need or want to do more. Egypt Tours Portal gets my highest endorsement for trip planning and execution in Egypt and Jordan. You should absolutely consider them to set up your tour, too.

Tossa has been very helpful with regards to our forward-looking cruise. Our preliminary request was responded within minutes and this continued to be up to the time that we made the deposit payment. Her professionalism in dealing with us has been outstanding.

Extremely fast and efficient in responding, adapting our needs and communicating. If all travel operator were like Shorouk and I would never book by myself.

Combinamos o pacote de 4 dias e 5 noites a bordo do Royal Beau Rivage com a senhora Shorouk alguns meses antes da nossa chegada. Ao chegarmos em Luxor , o nosso guia Mahmoud Hagag garantiu que chegássemos pontualmente no nosso barco e que tudo ocorresse conforme previsto. Aliás, o Mahmoud foi um ponto alto da nossa viagem! Ele foi um excelente guia, sempre de bom humor e que nos deu ótimas dicas sobre o que priorizar no Vale dos Reis e em outros templos, onde e como fazer as melhores fotos e quais eram os pontos especiais de cada lugar. Alem disso, ele foi super atencioso e cuidadoso quando teve um mal entendido entre uma pessoa do nosso grupo e o segurança de um dos locais de visita , garantindo que tudo fosse resolvido o mais rápido possível e que a nossa viagem continuasse sendo maravilhosa.

We had an absolutely amazing holiday, the cruise was well planned, busy but not exhausting, the food was wonderful and the views along the nile showed us a different side to egypt after Cairo. Our guide Omar was a highlight, he had endless energy and enthusiasm and his knowledge was second to none, overall a genuine holiday of a liftetime contender.

Bassant was such an amazing tour guide in Cairo, we couldn’t have asked for more!
