Very friendly and helpful staff Appreciate all things what you doing

Decent little gym, but there's no parking so you have to pay using the Brackla Street Car Park (although finding a space on a Saturday day time is hard work). There used to be free parking before all the building work started on the university/college opposite. I imagine when that opens, the gym will be overrun with students as it's quite good value for money

A great gym and extremely helpful and professional staff.
Every concern or issue due a change in my health and personal circumstances, Callie and other staff at energy fitness always respond with minutes .
A fabulous gym with punch bags and classes. Highly recommended. 5 stars.

**Updating my review as the original didn’t fully convey the extent of this gym’s shortcomings**

Had a terrible experience at Energie. I was falsely accused of something in front of a crowd, which was not only humiliating but had a serious impact on my mental well-being. Instead of handling the situation professionally, management dismissed my concerns and refused to take accountability.

To make matters worse, they blatantly lied about a phone call I had with them. I was polite and calm, yet they later claimed it was “threatening,” which is completely false. On top of that, the manager, Nathan, even acted aggressively towards me and tried to escalate the situation into a fight, which is completely unacceptable behaviour from someone in a leadership role.

Their response to everything has been defensive rather than supportive, making it clear they don’t care about their members' well-being. Additionally, they have ignored my requests for valid proof and details regarding my personal data (this directly contradicts their privacy policy), which is very concerning and unprofessional. No one should have to deal with this kind of treatment at a place that’s supposed to promote health and fitness. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone who values fairness, respect, and a safe environment.

It’s clear that Wendy, the branch owner, should not be getting involved in complaints as she is not trained or equipped to handle such matters. Complaints should be dealt with by someone who is competent and has relevant training.

This issue has been reported to the appropriate authorities and is being taken further.

The 24 hour gym makes it in my opinion a lot easier to go

I am a member of the Bridgend gym in South Wales and I can't compliment the gym staff and owner enough. Brilliant gym 24 hours and lots of equipment.

Well priced. Very good level equipment. Right in the middle of town. Probably could do with another leg curl/extension machine, because no one down here skips leg day😁

The convenience of having access 24/7 is amazing. My work hours change constantly so I can fit a workout around my hours easily. The staff are really friendly and the facilities are perfect for a new starter like me.

Previously I was with Halo (thinking a leisure centre would be better for beginners) however énergie fitness is far more welcoming.

The gym is spotless, equipment is well maintained & staff are helpful.

What a lovely gym! Best one around in Bridgend. The atmosphere in this gym is outstanding! The staff are lovely, always able to approach them, they work us hard in the classes. The best thing about the classes the instructor is different all the time so they are mixed up exercises, you’re not stuck doing the same thing. Definitely value for money, plenty of cv, pinned and free weights available. They are always listening to their members. Outstanding customer service.

So far so good. Variety of resistance and cardio machines. Only negative is when there's a circuit class on by the punch bag section, the PTs tend to play their own music. So when in the middle section to use leg machines you can hear two lots of music within the building which isn't very pleasant to the ears. Apart from that, everything's good.
