The let people creep on the women and ban the people who expose the weirdos

As a brand new business owner, I did not need any credit, except for to build the business. I've been blessed, I do have over a 100,000 Never once in my life abused credit cards to get stuck in debt. I always believed it was a scam from the start.

After opening a business then starting a banking account without my knowledge.Got a letter in the mail saying I apply for equinox credit. I had never never used credit or wanted their credit

They claim as if it wasn't good enough. Because I have never used my credit stupidest thing. I've ever heard of in my life. I sure hope people don't really fall into the scheme off a lie. They shouldn't even have 1 star . still be in business approach use with caution you don't need 16 or 24 percent interest every month ask, can you to pay a quarter of the amount you borrow every month

That alone would collect their whole amount of money within 4 months now, so 4 months for now, they're laughing to the bank. This business needs to be put out of business Is the biggest scam right next to insurance or property taxes. Nobody owns this land. Mother earth not anybody else's Ponzi scheme embezzlement.

And if you doubt believe it look up affiliate links for insurance. You can make a percentage off of every person you drive traffic to their site.

Nothing more than a scam then you wonder why you're broke these are the type of devil worshippers talk about give them half of your check every month
And never will ever use them

For those who've ever needed any of those. they paid that price 5 to 10 times that amount before ever using them. Paying for nothing and you're comfortable with that.

Equinox Darien is not safe—and management will not protect you.

After being verbally assaulted, subjected to misogynistic slurs, and physically confronted by a male member on the gym floor, I reported the incident immediately. Multiple witnesses came forward. I was assured it would be handled.

It wasn’t.

The individual was allowed back into the club and continued spreading false, degrading, and misogynistic comments about me to other members and staff. Despite months of detailed reports to senior leadership and HR, Equinox took no meaningful action.

Instead, I was met with delays, deflection, and ultimately told they “cannot engage” unless other members contact them directly. Translation: the victim does the work, the harasser faces no consequences.

Even more disturbing, staff appeared to tolerate—or participate in—gossip, reinforcing a hostile and misogynistic environment.

For a company that markets itself as inclusive and empowering, Equinox chose corporate protection over member safety.

If you are a woman and expect to be taken seriously when reporting harassment, this is not the place.

Avis sur le shop Equinox. J'ai reçu ma livraison en retard, dans une enveloppe ouverte, sans contenu. Equinox emballe mal ses produits, un serum à $300 dans une enveloppe, c'est inacceptable. Ensuite, ils me demande de contacter Onward (garantie que j'ai payé) qui me demande d'aller à la police et un tas de papiers pour avoir le remplacement de mon colis. I like Equinox clubs. I have been a member for over a year now and I find my club to be particularly well outfitted with modern equipment, good amenities and is always clean and ready to use. Of course, the membership fees are just like any gym and they can be expensive, but as far as gyms go you always get what you pay for.

Please be careful before joining this gym.
I was a member of Equinox Bishopsgate, and my experience was extremely disappointing. They misled me at the time of signing, including unprofessional claims about freezing months if necessary. In October, I lost my job due to redundancy and informed the general manager. I kindly asked for support with my October payment since I was unemployed, but I never received a response.

Mandy Bal, in particular, has been unprofessional: slow to respond, dismissive of details I had already provided, and careless in handling communication.

With the same membership fees, there are far better gyms available—gyms that offer more classes, better service, and treat their members with respect.

Please think carefully before joining this club.

Training management on 63rd and lex are the worst. Although they have good trainers

Very bad management and fake sales. The sales promised in consulting session to purchase 12 personal training classes and get 2 for free for my first time joining bonus. But then later the said, they cannot respect the deal because it is not written in email. I will like transparent communication, if you cannot grant a deal, we agree up front and the I can decide how many classes I will purchase. Liar company with extremely bad people managingz

Dear manager,

I will never return to Equinox (DC West End). I have been a member for 10 years (2016-2024) and over the period I had accumulated at least 11 daily passes (I had never used one). Last year I had to stop my membership temporarily because I was moving abroad for a year. I spoke with the manager at the time (June 2024) and she promise me that during that 1 -year period I would be able to use my 11 passes when I am in DC (which is why I did not give my passes to my best friend who wanted them). I was in DC 10 months later for a conference and went to Equinox expecting I could use my passes. But at that time, equinox rejected me and said that this was out of question. Bottom line, not only I was never able to use the passes for myself, but I could have given them to my friend had I known before hand that I would lose them when I quit.

This has not been my only sad experience with equinox DC. The list would be long. I don’t intend to be a member again. There are other nice gyms (maybe smaller) that treat their clientele in a more trustworthy way, and are not as snob as Equinox. The cost is too high for what you get.

I think they are a terrible company so far after doing some research.

Classes are amazing! Instructors are wonderful. Amenities are the best around.... but the clubs do really seriously get overcrowded and gawd help you if you have a problem! Management will turn on you in a heartbeat… Threats in the whole 9 yards.

I've been a member since 2015, and do really love these clubs… But I've noticed more locations getting rundown, and again… The management!

Having David Gates employed here and the company refusing to act on his message that it's okay to kill someone if you disagree with them by not firing him, they are just as guilty, I hope nothing but bankruptcy for this company.

This company hires and supports sick and evil people like David Gates. Do not support companies like this until they do the right thing and get rid of their unhinged and mentally unwell employees

I emailed concierge and I keep getting automated emails sent back but no one is responding to my emails , I did not receive my order EQXSHOP146136 and it was worth $350, i want to get a replacement of my order that I DID NOT RECEIVE!!

Didn't give a proper explanation for rejection for job application 30 mins later is enough to tell you no we made a decision and won't be processing your job application.Hard pass on that one after reading members reviews

I've been sexually assaulted multiple times at Equinox. Despite my reports, no action has been taken to this day and the aggressors are still members despite being "serial offenders".
The only response from their team were a few emails wrote entirely with ChatGPT. I managed to stop my subscription but they did not offer or accept any compensation.
A shame

I travel quite frequently for work so have an all-access pass for all US locations, which I'm starting to reconsider. I was recently in Brooklyn and worked out at the new Equinox location in Domino Park. Even though it brand new, it leaves a lot to be desired. Sure the location is nice by the waterfront, but the facility itself is super cramped and the equipment technology frequently malfunctions. I worked out a few times in early March and it still feel a bit like a construction zone. The stairs weren’t finished, the steam room doesn’t work etc. Very disappointing for a brand new gym that opened over 4 months ago!

I also went to the new Pacific Palisades location earlier in the year and that was similarly a poor experience for a new gym. Its a beautiful spot, but parking is a disaster and the locker rooms are cramped and awkward. Moreover, the space itself is poorly thought out and you have to go up and down stairs and through a rabbit warren to find the different workout areas. Not great for a brand new Equinox location.

I've been a loyal customer for over a decade, but am thinking of downgrading my pass and finding local gyms when I travel because of the issues I keep experiencing, not just with the newer locations but across the board. And that's not even to mention the overcrowding at some of the most popular locations.

Please Equinox, do better, and get back to what you did/do well. You're supposed to be a luxury, premium gym but the newer experiences I've had are anything but.

They have repeatedly taken money without authorisation. Since 10th Feb I have been trying to cancel, sent them the info they needed and they continue to help themselves to my account as they have my debit card and there is no way for me to stop the recurring transaction. I've called them, obviously in a very irate state and then get told not to take that tone with them. I'm not sure what tone they expect a customer to have after 2 months of trying to deal this. Whatever you do, do not give them your card number, insist on a direct debit that is at least in your control to cancel. In addition i joined because i wanted to do classes (Pilates etc.) They kept trying to get me to pay for 1 on 1 Pilates or a personal trainer, their classes are pathetic and at ridiculous times for working people. Also, given the cost of the membership, why am i expected to pay for 1 on 1 to get decent training. Stay away!

I go to the Palo Alto location, and it's just a complete joke. I think I pay $300/month, and there's not even a sauna. The 5pm situation is completely overcrowded, and you always have to wait for a machine. The locker rooms are disgusting; it's a complete joke. I'm stuck paying this stupid gym because there's literally nothing else and nowhere else to go. Close by within 10 minutes of me. Someone please help me and build a decent gym.
