I'm not sure whether this perfume is


I'm not sure whether this perfume is original. Looks fine but for EDP, smells weak. I've bought it previously. It doesn't seem to have the lingering scent. Perfume comes in at around £125 in most well known retailers. Escentual pricing £86 ..with further discount code. You do wonder how it's possible they can sell at that price. Maybe plain stupidity from my part buying It. It would be helpful to understand where they source these so heavily discounted products. Maybe a bit of transparency would help reassure customers.

You've also asked a fair question about how we can price the way we do, and you deserve a straight answer: we've traded for over 26 years and buy directly from brands and authorised suppliers, with the buying scale to negotiate keenly and pass that on. There's nothing more to it than that — no grey-market sourcing, no compromise on authenticity.On the scent itself, a weaker-than-expected performance on a fragrance you know well is worth looking into properly. Storage, age of stock, or even a particular batch can all play a part. I'd genuinely like to check this for you — if you contact our customer service team with your order details, we'll look at the specific product and put right anything that isn't as it should be.Thank you for raising it, and for giving us the chance to reassure you.

FALSE strapline claims “25% Off Everything

The strapline claims “25% Off Everything,” but as soon as you click through to the website, you discover numerous exclusions. Using a false “Everything” claim simply to drive traffic is a clear breach of advertising standards. I refuse to buy from a company that misleads consumers in this way. It shows a complete lack of integrity and core values.

Hi Alec,Thank you for taking the time to raise this, and I'm sorry our promotion came across as misleading. That's the opposite of what we'd ever want.You've made a fair point about the wording. When a headline says "Everything," the exclusions need to be far clearer and more upfront than they were here, and that's on us to fix. I'm going to review how we word and present our promotional messaging so the terms are obvious from the outset, not something a customer discovers after clicking through.I appreciate you flagging it directly.
