Iâve been trying to cancel my contract with Etisalat for over 6 weeks now, and the experience has been incredibly frustrating.
Every time I call, Iâm forced through an AI system with no clear way to reach a human agent. When I do try to wait it out, the hold times are so long that it becomes unrealistic to stay on the line.
If you try alternative channels like WhatsApp or the mobile app, youâre again met with a bot â which simply redirects you back to calling, creating an endless loop with no resolution.
All Iâm trying to do is straightforward: settle any legitimate cancellation fees and close the account properly. Instead, Iâm being blocked by poor customer service systems while charges continue to accumulate.
This is not acceptable for a telecommunications provider of this size. Customers should not have to fight this hard just to cancel a service.

Very bad experience with e&.We were using home Internet for 4 years from e&.But when we renew yearly it is their responsibility to cut the old connection and we are receiving the payment bills of the unused connection and we are walking for last 1 month behind their service centres and keep on filing the complaint but no calls or response is been received yet.There is no other option also.This is very bad response from the etisalat group.Atleast someone should be there to guide your valuable customers.Really fed up with this response.

If you're a tourist just picking up a SIM card - totally fine, good coverage, easy to top up. If you're a resident with a home internet contract and something breaks... good luck. Customer service is a nightmare of hold music and departments blaming each other. The actual product is solid, the support is not.

Scam artists. Told me to get a specific package. I told them I want prepaid. They gave me a post paid package and now Iâm stuck with a 600aed bill. I only opted for a top up basis line.
Horrible customer service
In order to cancel anything you need to receive 2FA codes, which didn't even get sent to my email, making it impossible for me to reach a human. Their support live chats are useless chatbots with no option to reach a representative either. There is even more to this story, and it has been the worst experience I have ever had with any company in my whole life. I actively discourage friends from signing up to e&.
Very disappointed by etisalat home wifi
Iâve had a very disappointing experience with the Etisalat Home WiFi Box. The service quality is extremely poor, and most of the time the internet simply doesnât work. Frequent disconnections and unstable speeds have made it very frustrating to rely on this connection for daily use.
What makes the situation worse is the customer support. When a complaint is raised, it often takes several days for the issue to be resolved. There is no efficient or timely response, which leaves customers stuck without internet for long periods.
Another major issue is the lack of human interaction. Thereâs no proper way to speak directly with a representative about an already registered complaint. The automated systems are unhelpful and make it very difficult to get real support when you actually need it.
Overall, this has been a very poor experience. I would not recommend anyone to purchase the Etisalat Home WiFi Box given the unreliable service and inadequate customer support.

My number was cancelled without my permission last Friday . Since then, I have contacted both the call center and visited a branch, but unfortunately after 5 days the issue remains unresolved and my service is still disconnected.

I have startedI am very angry at the Atsirat because these people have started making very illegal profits.
I have started. When I got the SIM, I did a package of 30 dirhams for the first month and when I did the package for the second month, they said it will not be less than 45 dirhams and they give a thousand MB and even in that, those MBs end up like this. If you play two or three videos, you get an SMS from above that you have used 60 percent and 80 percent and in my opinion, using the extensions is a waste of money. These people have created that useless system.

Stop charging me for various games, entertainment services, and additional features that I do not need. Somehow these services keep getting activated on my account, and money is deducted as a result.
I use Etisalat only for phone calls and internet services. I do not want any additional subscriptions, promotions, or entertainment services connected to my account.
Please immediately stop activating any services without my clear consent and stop sending me promotional subscriptions or charging me for them. I am requesting that my account be restricted from any automatic subscriptions or paid content in the future.

Al Ghurair etisalat is very very poor customer service. Last 2 years I was living in sharjah and I visit Shahara branch etisalat to replacement my SIM card and just a few minutes to assist me to the machine and fix the issue and solve. Thats good service just attended the customer to make easier.
But this time I visit al Ghurair was very very poor staff never attended the issue and help the customer needed not everyone knows how to use the machine and correct process.
To my filipino staff working this etisalat do your best donât ignore the customer needed help. I requested for a new home WiFi connection and on 2nd of march 26 and it was installed on 6th and I call the E& cancellation department to cancel my old connection and I did the payment for February on 1st of march. Again this customer service is telling me to do an another 1 month payment to cancel my old account.
