Communication was excellent throughout the sale and purchase with prompt replies to e mails and returned calls promptly. Alex was very easy to talk to and explained everything well. In his absence, Cindy was also first class with Anna also stepping in when Cindy was unavailable. The conveyancing process was also efficient . Altogether I was delighted .

I really can't fault Everys Solicitors. My sale and purchase went through in 12 weeks with no problems at all. They were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

I attended Everys’ Honiton office to enquire about completion of Land Registry ID1 forms only, without instructing the firm for any wider legal work.

The reception I received was unwelcoming and dismissive, and I was quoted £450 per person for the ID1 verification. This struck me as excessive, so I contacted other local solicitors the same day and obtained quotations ranging from £5 to £120 for the same service.

I raised a formal complaint. Everys confirmed in writing that the fee was deliberate and reflects their policy of pricing this type of work at a level that factors in full client onboarding and AML compliance, particularly where there is no prospect of follow-on conveyancing work.

While the firm is entitled to set its own fees, the combination of the reception experience and the pricing made this feel entirely out of step with local practice. I would not use Everys again for routine or administrative matters.

A great solicitors that did an urgent house conveyancing for me and stepped in when another ‘big’ firm let me down very badly.
