We needed a new buy to let mortgage and Laurence couldn’t have been more helpful. He sent a list of the documents required and kept us updated every step of the way and secured us a mortgage at a very competitive rate.

I’ve used Laurence at Excel Mortgages several times now, from buying my home in 2019 through to subsequent mortgage product transfers. He has always been friendly, patient, clear and easy to deal with.

What I appreciate most is that he doesn’t just arrange a deal and disappear. He keeps track of renewal dates, follows things through and has proactively picked up rate reductions after my applications were submitted, then amended everything so I received the better available deal. He has also been quick to answer questions, clearly explained what I needed to do and why, and even helped follow up on an issue with my solicitor during the original purchase.

My latest NatWest product transfer completed smoothly, with Laurence keeping me updated throughout. He is a genuinely helpful and reliable mortgage adviser who I’d happily recommend.
