Please stay away from Eye automotive/ his name is Aaron he stole £500 from he after trying to sell a lemon of a Jeep it had engine knock and he had undersealed over zip ties and over wires please don’t trust Aaron he scammed me and what’s him not scamming you

Please please don’t ever use Eye Automotive stole money for a jeep that wasn’t in a good condition Went to look at a 2012 L200 and it had bad engine knock and had been rust treated over zip ties and wires a cow boy job spend around £2000 getting out to see the jeep and payed him a deposit of £500 and asked for a refund and he refused to return it police involved stay well clear of this n cow boy

Shortly after purchasing my car, it required a rear wheel bearing and anti‑roll bar link replacement, and the engine management light was intermittently on.
Despite recorded delivery letters and involvement from Citizens Advice and The AA (while they were still affiliated), communication has been extremely poor, with little response and repeated excuses.
I have paid for all repairs myself and am still owed £1,533.26. I agreed to reduce this amount on the condition that a 2‑year warranty was provided, which would lower the outstanding balance — however, this documentation was never supplied.
I have been left with no option but to pursue recovery through the Small Claims Court.
Based on my experience, I strongly urge others to avoid this seller.
