Great service from Fastlane Autocare. It’s the first time I have used them to service my Volvo XC40. Everything from booking to completing the service went like clockwork. The staff on reception were helpful and knowledgeable, I will certainly be returning next time my vehicle requires any work. Highly recommend!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! DO NOT GO!!!If i could give 0 stars i whould. A job that i paid in advance tons of moneys and wainting nearly one month. Took the car in for checks and told them that i need no advisories on it, they started to order parts and to fit them but one part the leaf springs they could not provide it and been lied that they send my old suspension in for somebody to make it from scrach but that was not true as my car was sitting for weeks in their yard with my old ones in as i live just around the corner and could see everything. I been there 2-3 times per week asking for updates nobody knew nothing. Been lied again about one part that they said they worked for 2-3 days was an easy job for a bush, i went and showed them the car sitting on my old susspension and got a refund as they could not lie anymore. They charge you for thin air labour costs 2-3 times more than others and waiting times are crazy. I lost my holiday waiting for my motorhome to be ready and been lied every week when i went there. No updates on the phone whatsoever. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! And there are many more

Avoid avoid avoid. Came for a NSR and OSF car window electrical problem. Paid £102 for diagnostic and was told the issue was a part I had already replaced. They were adamant that was the issue and quoted me £1500 for parts and labour including parts I didn't even ask about. Instead of running diagnostic on my fault they spent an hour looking to charge me for as many non problems as possible. Went home and spent a day checking the car myself. Turned out to be a 16p fuse and 1 broken wire. I called them to complain... to say they were rude and disrespectful is an understatement. They're either con artists or cowboys. Probably both. Go literally anywhere else, there is a reason they have a 1 star overall rating

They are very lucky to get 1 star. Said they could a EGR clean for me. I spent 3 hours waiting, complete joke. Light came back on the same day. Talking to them is a complete joke. The lad on reception, joke. He is totally clueless. I have now spent a lot more money to get a proper job done. They laughed at me when I told them who, supposedly did the job. Apparently, known by other garages as a laughing stock.

Oh my God where do you start with these incompetent? Corrupt guys My car was in for mot and service . They simply lied to me say my brake pads needed replacing saying there was lots of problems with the car. I I knew there was lying to me cause two of the staff told me two different things and two different phone calls trying to upsell one parts that don’t need replacing took it to another garage as i simply refused to let them to work on it and the parts they were saying needed replacing a fine !

Wanrning ! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I made an appointment with Happy Camper to service my motorhome and was given an appointment for Saturday 11th April 2026 at 8.00 am. The appointment was then passed over to a garage next door to Happy camper called Fast Lane Autocare Autocentres. I had to go from Ormskirk to Chorley to pick the motorhome up then from Chorley to St Helens to Fast Lane Autocare. I was bombarded with txts from Fast Lane Autocare as to being on time for the appointment. I turned up at 7.45am to a garage all locked up . i could see a few cars outside and a guy with a caravan. I waited for an hour and no one turned up to open up. Happy camper was closed aswell. I rang the two phone numbers as did the people outside with no answer. I left at 9.00am as i had enough of the waiting . decided to ring all morning till 12 noon and no answer from both companies. DO NOT USE THESE TWO COMPANIES AS THEY WILL COST YOU TIME AND MONEY. DISGUSTED AND FUMING..

Very helpful all the time my car was in with them. Good communication.

Thieves , crooks ? Mo stole parts off my car ?? Tyres battery etc, he should be in prison, I'm a pensioner and now don't have a car?? Shame on you

ZERO STARS - WOULDN'T RECOMMEND!
I strongly advise anyone considering this garage to think twice. My experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
My car was taken to this garage by the AA so I assumed it would be a decent company but really wish I had done some research before I allowed them to look at my car. You can see from the trust pilot reviews that this company rips people off and says work needs doing when it doesn’t then they keep calling each day to say another issue has been found so the require more money.

On 3 occasions I asked if my car was able to be picked up to allow me to get a second opinion but was told it couldn’t as it was in bits but after the third time I decided to take a trip to the garage to see for myself and the car wasn’t in bits as they stated and I removed the car straight away. On inspection at another garage they confirmed the issue and advised this was most likely the issue in the first place. The same work this garage quoted £1150 but they did it for £480 big difference.

I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I honestly wish I had read the reviews before using this garage.

Initially, they were pleasant on the phone, but things quickly went downhill. I had my car towed there due to a gearbox leak and was quoted £7,500 for repairs—far more than the car is worth. After doing some research, I found the work could be done for less than half that price.

When I told them I wouldn’t be going ahead, they insisted I had to remove the car immediately or face additional charges—even though it was now undrivable. We arranged our own recovery, but the situation became very stressful. The garage made multiple aggressive phone calls, and our recovery company reported being sworn at and treated poorly by staff. Due to the lack of cooperation, they had to make two trips.

We’ve now spent £400 just to get the car back, and it’s sitting unusable on our drive.

Overall, a very disappointing and stressful experience. I would strongly recommend others do their research before using this garage

DO NOT USE: Utterly misleading advertising. Will overcharge and claim unnecessary 'diagnostics' are required. If I could give less than 1 star I would. After reaching out to them in October 2025 and outlined my complaint they have not even read my email. I have reported this company and my disastrous experience with them to The Motor Ombudsman, they are truly scammers.

2 weeks to do a clutch replacement which they said initially would take 2 days. Would like to give zero stars but cant

After roadside breakdown I had my car towed to my preferred garage that I always use, but didn't know that they no longer did clutches. I had to make a quick decision to go elsewhere. My internet search showed a surprising lack of garages locally that did this type of work, which was how I ended up at Fastlane.

I spoke later to my usual garage and they were immediately alarmed that I had gone there and advised caution. That then prompted me to do a review search and was obviously horrified to read the appalling reviews that this garage got, not just on Trust Pilot but EVERY other review site I looked on. My experience with them followed much the same pattern as most of the other reviewers. Looking at some of those, I`m beginning to think I got off lightly compared to some poor people

I was charged approximately £400 over what Arnold Clark main dealers would have charged. Also they tried to drum up additional work which I refused .

My car is now safely at my preferred garage to check over that it is safe to drive

This was by a country mile THE WORST customer experience I have ever had. I can only hope that my review will help others to avoid this place, which should be avoided at all costs

booked my car in with Fast Lane Auto Care for an MOT and unfortunately it failed due to a headlight alignment issue. That’s fair enough — these things happen. What wasn’t fair was being quoted £100 just to adjust the headlights.
That price immediately felt excessive, so I went to another reputable garage who adjusted both headlights properly for just £20. The difference in price speaks for itself.
When I returned to Fast Lane Auto Care for the retest, they claimed the work “wasn’t done to their standard.” I then had to drive back to the other garage, where they checked everything again and made the smallest possible tweak — barely any adjustment at all — and confirmed the lights were correctly aligned. They were even kind enough to call Fast Lane themselves to rebook my retest.
After explaining over the phone that I had travelled all the way from Liverpool specifically to get this sorted that day, I was told they “didn’t have time.” This was after I had already made multiple trips back and forth trying to satisfy their requirements. The tone on the phone was extremely patronising. I was spoken to like a child and basically told I should have just paid the £100 in the first place.
It honestly felt less about safety and more about trying to charge over the odds. When an MOT garage can’t (or won’t) sort a simple adjustment reasonably and instead makes the process difficult after you choose not to overpay, that’s a red flag.
Very disappointing experience, extremely poor customer service, and unnecessary stress over something that should have been straightforward. I definitely won’t be returning and would advise others to question pricing carefully before agreeing to any work.

WARNING SCAM GARAGE. Was quoted over 2k for battery replacement,something that would of only cost me no more than £200 anywhere else .they had my car for awhile every time I called up they keep adding these mistory charges ,said they were doing a 5 hour inseption on my car but were very vague when asked what is wrong with my car.
The also stole my coil pack out my car so had to fork out £200 to replace that and when I finally got my car they left the windows open and mold was all over my seats .
This garage has caused me to go without my car for 2 months because I couldn't afford 2k right on top of Christmas, if I went to a respectable garage would had my car fixed and back on the road in no time.
They then charged me £110 for them to release my car so I can row it back home
PLEASE AVOID THIS GARAGE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY £2000 FOR A NEW BATTERY ,absolutely shocking and degusting how much these cowboys want to rip people off

I do not recommend this garage based on my recent experience.

I took my car in for an MOT and additional repairs, paying over £2,700 in total and confirming twice with staff that my car would be ready to collect. When I arrived at 4pm on Friday, I was told it was not ready after all, leaving me without a car over the weekend — causing financial loss and serious disruption to my life (including caring responsibilities).

After collecting the car, a headlight that had a bulb replaced failed and developed condensation. The garage has since admitted that they broke the headlight seal during the repair, which confirms the issue was caused by their work.

They also failed to fit run-flat tyres as agreed; within 12 hours of collection a tyre went flat and I incurred an extra £35 cost at Kwik Fit to fix it.

I asked for reasonable compensation: £100 for taxi costs, £35 for the tyre, £200 for inconvenience, plus proper repair of the headlight/tyre issue. Their initial offer was £20, which is dismissive and not acceptable given the circumstances.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill and within a reasonable time. My experience clearly fell below this standard.

Paid £175 up front for diagnostics confirming my thoughts on the problem. Then told my car had to go to St Helens for 5 more ours of diagnostics costing £850. They sell at home diagnostics and repairs which is totally false. Do not use. This is a scam

This company are simply liars and thieves. They took advantage of the nativity of my son with his first car. Under no circumstances use them. I’m getting trading standards involved so they can’t scam anyone else

They had our car for 7 days , cost £4k , and after 12 hours the problem reoccured
They also took the car for a 14 mile drive mid repair , and would only admit to this when I gave them details of the journey from our remote tracking app - They can’t be trusted

These guys are crooks. Stole £250 from me for an “inspection” and then racially abused me. Be careful they delete and reinstall their Google account so their 100s of bad reviews get deleted and they get their friends and family to leave positive ones. ABSOLUTE CROOKS. This happened in 2021 (to this date) but I just got reminded of how disgusting they treated me through photo evidence and don’t want them to ever thrive.
