Review of the Cancellation Policy

I paid extra for the cancellation guarantee, but honestly it feels useless. The conditions are written in such a restrictive way that in most normal cases you get nothing back. Unless you have a death certificate, a hospital record, or even a vet’s note for your cat, they just refund you a symbolic amount after deducting their fees.

In practice, this means you pay more for “peace of mind,” but when you actually need to cancel, the guarantee covers almost nothing. On top of that, there’s a 20% deductible with a minimum of €75, so even if your claim is accepted, you still lose a big chunk of your money.

This policy looks more like a way to charge customers extra than a real protection. I wouldn’t recommend paying for it – it’s simply not worth it.

Avoid at all costs. They charged my card and never provided any booking confirmation. They then failed to respond to 3 different methods of communication.

Friendly ALL CHINESE staff.

No refund if you book the wrong ferry accidentally. Extremely unhelpful and unsympathetic, despite having booked the ferry weeks in advance. My advise is always book through the main operator who should in theory actually care about your experience, as my experience with ferriesdirect is that they don't.

Mon billet a été annulé par la compagnie Corsica ferries (j ai été prevenu par la compagnie martime avant meme que ferryonline prenne la peine de m envoyer un mail sans aucune explication sur cette annulation) ils sont injoignable je me retrouve contrainte de prendre une autre traversée je perds 2 jours je change de port de depart le billet coute moins cher a ce jour 1 mois apres je ne suis toujours pas rembousé de la diffrence alors que Corsica ma fait suivre la preuve de remboursement a ferryonline il me dise ne rien avoir recu. A FUIR VOLEUR ESCRO SERVICE CLIENT NUL INJOIGNABLE PLUS JAMAIS je prendrai mes billets en direct avec les compagnie dorénavant

It was easy to book and I got the day and time I wanted. It’s a bit early to be asking for feedback, I’ll know more when I’ve travelled.

Be careful for ferriesonline.fr. We bought a ferry ticket that costed 31.20€ and Ferriesonline charged us 51.20€. 20€ of fees is quite a lot.
They do not even guarantee a place in the ferry as at the port (Palau) they confirmed that it's first come first served.

Staff was not helpful at all in the cafe and the food was very pricy

Easy to use price a bit high but expected.

A clear and quick booking process which clearly provided all the relevant info and not too much small print.
