Easily the worst run council in Scotland. The website used to be easy to navigate and simple to log in/check/make payments. Then they obviously had money to burn and updated the site to the train wreck it is now. Not user friendly, constantly generates late bills for me (even though I pay) and impossible to get through if you need to speak. The noise pollution side is another joke. Upstairs neighbours make constant noise, on going for years, got heated, all the time the council knew the wrong flooring was in, did nothing about it, still ongoing.....because it involves doing work and admitting they messed up.

JOCKERS.............. fife council are appauling scum bags' i have young 19year old scumbags living below me and my 10yr old daughter who are bought' they moved in over 2yr ago now and wer antisocial from the very begining.
They had a few loud partys that wid end in the BOY n HER screaming at each other n falling out with there freinds over lines of COKE n a woman who had to be taken to hospital with a broken leg bearing in mind i have a 10yr old daughter LIVING WITH ME.
My mum was staying a few days and got very unwell' the ambulance that was sent for the silly little thug who broke her leg came b4 my mums ambulance.
This perticular night in october was even worse than anything we had endured from the' this was thrash metal p..ish n it was booming until 5am we tryed going to the door but they didnt hear the door' there was a huge row ALL COZ WE WANTED TO SLEEP and my daughter was woken sevral times' they came to my door wi there little sheep to intimidate us' they hurled abuse at us and threatend us with harrasment and violence' to cut a long story short they got MUMMY N DADDY to fight there battles DADDY and whoever came to the door WHILST my 10yo daughter was in a panic WITH WEAPONS and badly beat n id even say tryed to kill my 2 freinds one of the men was badly injured' my front door was like a BLOOD BATH.
THERES MORE my house is a DIABOLICAL SHAMBLES OF A PRIVATE LET ive recently had a bad leak in my room and the DAMP MOULD IS BLACK AS COAL which will destroy the house below where the problems are already.
Hear's the final nail in the councils coffin' i have 20 points for the shared garden' after showing photos of the rooms apparently no evidence was shown SO NILL POINTS FOR THE HOUSE BEING IN DISREPAIR AND NILL POINTS FOR HARRASSMENT.
Mum passed away in july and from june shes been lieing to soc work about me n n saying allsorts' she said SHE'D MAKE MY LIFE HELL n what for? Coz we told them to shut there noise up.
AS FOR FIFE COUNCIL THEY DONT GIVE A T..SS' THEY DONT N WONT DO THERE JOBS PROPPERLY.

Rude and unprofessional what more is there to say.

Fife Council, absolutely amazing. Just reported dog fouling outside at the pavment/garden, and it's happened before outside my neighbours house. Fife Council came along today put up a sign on the lampost outside my house and also put stickers on the other lamposts. Thanks Fife Council for a quick response and a fantastic job.

Had appointment today in City Chambers, Dunfermline. The receptionist Karen was brilliant. I’ve never been in City Chambers before, it’s fantastic and Karen’s history lesson was great, she is so knowledgeable. The young girl I had an appointment with was also lovely. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. It was a great experience for me. Well done all concerned

Used the Fife Council online service to report a change to my Council Tax account.

I received an email a day later looking for additional information, which I provided.

They are now in the process of providing me with an updated bill. I do prefer the old council tax account, however, happy with the service provided.

My heating and water stopped working, two engineers came out said I needed parts. (They would send for them)
One week and half later I had a gas engineer come out, he went out his way, above and beyond his duty's to get this working. I couldn't thank him more than enough. His name is Graham Wood

Done a fantastic job throughout the past 18 months.
Incredibly impressed this morning when the empty blue bin was moved up the driveway to a sheltered area as the wind is forecast to pick up later.

The fife council stole my house. They came into my house and took everything I have 45 kids and they took them as well.

Fife Council is so poor at everything it does. I rented a garage lock up from them for £40 per month. It leaked and soaked everything within. Mould soon grew and I made a complaint. They said they would send someone around. Months passed nothing happened. I complained and nothing happened. Eventually after 10 months, I got the chief exec involved and that seemed to get some kind of response. However after sending lots of photo evidence and written evidence, I found that Fife council use third party agencies, but I have not got any joy in the investigation . We decided to hand back the garage saying it was not fit for purpose. They admitted fault but no money has been forthcoming. All items were ruined within. I have finally got a response after many assertive emails, however, all this has done is illicit a response from the loss adjusters saying ‘we are nearly finished investigating your incident, but we need to now know what has been damaged, please show receipts for items purchased for items ruined’ What???? Next Fife council issue, is that we are about to move to Angus. We have contacted them about us moving away and they instantly hit us with a £16 bill for essentially moving away! What’s that all about????? Finally, we have just found out that they have just taken out our full council tax bill for the next month, even though we will only be in Fife fir 8 days, bet we don’t get a refund! We have phone up for some information and we can’t talk to a human being and there is no automated answer to our question, nor is there an answer on the website. When you phone up, the first thing the answer phone system states is that we do not tolerate any verbal abuse to their customer service personnel!!!!!! Fife Council are letting their employees and customers down. I am getting in touch with my solicitor to sue, I’ve had enough and I don’t see any alternative.

Can't phone who you want only have basic numbers to get them then a hour on phone can't fix boiler got two kids been over two weeks and they just turn about days late and try get your housing officer impossible

I would give Fife council 0 stars however this is not an option.

They have previously not turned up to empty the areas refuse bins without any comment or notification.

In addition, last week they failed to collect my refuse, despite my bin lid being closed and not over spilling. I tried to notify them online but the form one needs to complete on their website failed to upload due to a fault with their website. I tried again 2 days later by email and was informed I had missed their 4 days notification period by 1 day which includes weekends! For a company that only operates 5 days per week I find this quite unusual.

Their reply to my email was a waste of time for me writing it, so I'd have to wait another 3 weeks for it to be collected. All they had to do was to request the refuse collectors that came today to collect it, when after all today's collection was for landfill recycling so they could have collected it.

No wonder we are in a predicament of having fly tipping in our countryside, when councils like Fife Council are totally unreasonable and seen to be unable to use their initiative. Lots of staff training would help.

It is well seen that the public purse pays their wages as any other private company would be bankrupt if they operated like this with their customers.

So we get a parking fine from Fife Council sent to our previous address for a car we traded in 2 months before fine. The letter was delayed due to us moving so called and explained, however denied our appeal. We are now being pursued by the sheriff officers for payment. They are understanding and told us to go back and negotiate with council. We have since had another fine and the council have accepted the car was not ours but not the first fine even though the evidence is the same. how can u argue with these folk. I'll pay a lawyer b4 Fife Council gets a penny from me.

Very poor. Next time you require bulky uplift service just put items outside as I paid for uplift and the item was removed by a random stranger so now paid council for nothing!

Road at Guardbridge Has water leaking from footpath At Main Street,A919. For as long as I can remember. Thought we were supposed to save our Water. I'm sure this is not the first time a complaint has been forwarded .Last winter the road was iced over as well as the footpath. Their are new building work all around. Does no one car ?

There is nothing about Fife Council — staff, operations and service — that leaves me thinking they are performing at a level that’s expected, or considered value for council tax payers. The organisation is broken and successive councillors have failed to improve it.

The Digital service experience is a particular embarrassment for the people of Fife.

Have to say been with Dundee, Edinburgh and Falkirk Council, and fife council put them to shame in my eyes, yes fife council not perfect but best I have seen.

never been a fan of fife council from when i used to have a council house to paying bills they are terrible,not a lot of common sense in their billing department

Very bad they deserve to bankrut they are thievs !!!!! the worst xperience ever with them! they charge extra and doesnt answer at all!!!!! The baddest ever
