Today is Saturday, February 21st earlier this week I found out that transfer of funds from first tech to Canvas. Credit union did not take place on Tuesday of this week unfortunately, my financial advisor had erroneously deposited my investment funds into first tech rather than canvas credit union I was told at first tech that I would have to first have a couple of cents sent to my Canvas credit union for verification as of Friday, February 20. I had not seen that deposit in canvas credit union Friday afternoon. I called a first tech number to let them know that that transfer has not yet taken place I needed the funds to be transferred to canvas by Saturday since my Visa company was gonna make a withdrawal for my monthly payment. The first tech associate that I was talking to erin Devine then said to me why don’t you go to first tech get a cashiers check for the amount you need withdrawn and then take that to Canvas credit union duh why was not I not told that in the first place I don’t know it’s so obvious of a step. I thanked him profusely. He was very helpful and Saturday morning I did just that and did not have to wait for days on end for electronic transfers. Sometimes associates need to be anticipating solutions that do not involve digital machinations instead good old legwork will do the trick.
This is a prime example of thinking outside the digital box. Please add this example in future training

Too many things over the years. Never have a good rate for a house change rates on my loan for my car ,change interest rates. I don't have enough time to tell you how many screw-ups over the years I've been here.

The help, courtesy, and obvious enjoyment of their job is always evident. I have interacted with Ayden frequently over time and he always has a smile, greeting everyone with sincerity. It’s great to walk into an establishment where they are glad to see you! My recent visit was regarding an issue with our credit card and Ellie brought me right in, found what I was looking for, and proceeded to show me how to find it online, then printed out the results. She was very personable and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. This location (and all who work there) has ALWAYS made every effort to accommodate our needs - Thank you!

I have no complaints! I've been with First Tech ever since First Tech bought Addison Avenue. Technically I've been with you since 1983.

I have been a customer for 15 years. They closed the branch in my town and I have to travel 30 minutes to conduct business with them. I recently tried to withdraw money from my account, they failed to have the funds available for me, gave me part of my money and told me they made an exception to give me the money they did give me. It's my money in my account, this should not be difficult. I will be going to a different bank next week.

I tried giving it another chance but now I recently had the misfortune of experiencing what can only be described as an egregious lapse in customer service with FirstTech Bank. Despite the brevity of my relationship with the bank, the impact was both profound and deeply frustrating. My account was inexplicably frozen due to what was termed 'suspicious activity,' a veil of uncertainty that the bank did little to clarify over an agonizing month-long period.
The bank's initial assurance of a 45-day maximum investigation period, with a suggestion that matters typically conclude within two weeks, proved to be hollow. My daily calls became a tedious loop of false hope and reassurance, with promises of email updates that never materialized. The customer service representatives I spoke with were as in the dark as I was, dutifully verifying my email address but providing no tangible information or resolution.
The pinnacle of this ordeal arrived unceremoniously today when I was informed—via phone, ironically—that I would receive a termination letter through traditional mail. Moreover, access to my funds remains unjustifiably out of reach, even though no evidence of fraud or any other legitimate concern has been presented by the bank. The representatives’ hands appear to be tied, leaving me without answers and without access to my own money.
This experience with FirstTech Bank has been nothing short of a nightmare. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and inability to resolve a seemingly straightforward issue have left me not only without an operational account but also without trust in an institution where trust should be paramount. It is an experience I hope to never repeat and one I would caution others to consider before entrusting their financial well-being to FirstTech Bank.
