Io ho prenotato un doors-off al tramonto per mio fratello usando il suo nome, quando Ú arrivato il suo turno hanno chiamato il mio perché era il nome sulla carta e c'Ú stato un piccolo disguido. La receptionist Ú stata così gentile da venire a scusarsi subito però e il disguido Ú stato risolto immediatamente. Possono volare anche i neo-maggiorenni non accompagnati (cosa non scontata visto che a New York Ú quasi tutto 21+). Bella esperienza ma Ú costato quanto un bilgietto New York-Italia (solo che New York-Italia dura 9 ore, ti puoi portare dietro pure i bagagli e ti danno da mangiare, Flynyon solo 15 min, ore di attesa e nessun servizio aggiuntivo offertoð). Alla fine del volo c'Ú stato un servizio di taxi per tornare a times square che costava 25 dollari a testa, e col freddo Ú stato molto comodo, bravissimo e simpaticissimo il tassista Amir.

Good morning,
My name is Leidy Amaya, and I booked a flight with your company under my motherâs name, Aurora Gonzalez Pacacira, scheduled for Friday, April 10th.
First, I would like to mention that I had previously flown with your company on July 28, 2022, together with my husband and two children, and the experience was truly wonderful.
On this occasion, I must acknowledgeâand I did so from the very beginningâthat it was my responsibility to have arrived close to the departure time due to an issue I encountered on the road. I am fully aware that I arrived at 10:30 a.m.
However, my complaint is not based on the consequences of arriving late, which I understood beforehand, but rather on the attitude and lack of customer service displayed by the manager who assisted me.
I do not speak English, and although I attempted to carry on the conversation, his attitude from the very beginning was rude and dismissive, showing no intention of being helpful. He referred us to Cristina, a very kind person who, based on her accent, appears to be Spanish. I asked her to please explain to him what had happened to me on the road, to apologize on my behalf for the late arrival, and to let him know that I was willing to wait if there was another flight opportunity available, especially since my mother had a return flight to Colombia scheduled for the following day.
Initially, I purchased what I believed to be an âOpen Gatesâ flight; however, I was informed that the ticket I booked was actually classified as âClosed Gates.â Cristina explained to me that this distinction can be confusing due to the Spanish translation.
The manager informed me that I could board an Open Gates flight at 1:00 p.m. by paying an additional surcharge, which I accepted. He later changed his decision and stated that I would need to wait until 4:00 p.m., which I also accepted. Subsequently, he changed the option again and stated that the only possibility was to wait until 7:00 p.m., which I agreed to as well given my circumstances. (Three options were offered and then withdrawn.) Shortly after, and without any clear reason, he told Cristina that he no longer wanted me to wait for that flight and that I would need to reschedule for another day.
At that point, I expressed that it was my decision to wait, and I did not understand why I was being denied the opportunity to fly when I was willing to pay the surcharge he had requested. The only option he ultimately offered was to fly at the same time as my original booking, but with an additional charge of $100 per person, effectively forcing me to take a 28-minute flight.
Throughout this situation, Cristina appeared uncomfortable. While she genuinely intended to help us, the manager showed no intention of doing so. He never agreed to let me fly under the conditions I requestedânamely, flying with open gates from the beginningâeven though I was willing to pay the additional fee he required. He did allow me to fly at the originally scheduled time, but only with the $100 surcharge to extend the flight duration, which I fully understood.
Having no other options and seeing what I can only describe as an expression of contempt on the managerâs faceâwhether because I do not speak English or because I arrived late despite apologizingâit became clear that he never intended to help.
In the end, we flew at my originally scheduled time on a 28-minute flight, which was ultimately fine, although it was not the experience I had hoped for my mother. I am deeply grateful to Cristina, as without her assistance, it is likely that the manager would not have allowed us to fly that day at all. It truly seemed that he did not want to let us fly.
After the experience, I asked Cristina for the managerâs name because I wished to file a complaint; however, she informed me that she was not authorized to provide it. I then approached the manager directly and asked for his name, to which he responded âJustinâ (I am unsure of the correct spelling; however, this should be verifiable based on the date and time of the incident). When I asked him to write it down so that I could submit a formal report or complaint, he refused.
This leads me to question: How can a customer file a complaint when the person assisting them refuses to provide their name? Who is responsible for protecting the customer?
I reiterate that I arrived late and fully accept responsibility for that; however, the treatment we received and the manner in which the situation was handled were not appropriate. I accepted all options that were offered, yet in the end, we flew only under the conditions imposed by the manager.

We were all ready to board, and that person got upset because he wanted to sit by the edge of the helicopter but had been placed in the middle.
It was a bad experience because that person behaved in a very unpleasant way.
Aside from that, everything else was great.
