This website has the shadiest ads I have ever seen in my many decades of surfing the web. Their ads will completely redirect you to different websites including ones that seem like malware telling you that you need to perform a critical update. Then when you complain about it on their forums the administrators delete your comments to hide the truth. Currently working on transferring my collection details to another app.

Boycott this subpar website run by nazis.

I moved to Perfumo.

Would be a decent site, if not for the political propagandising in the forums, comments and even the sub-header of the site.

Advice for owners: Keep your rubbish politics to yourselves. We're here for the perfume.

A horrible website run by hateful, anti-vax, pro forced labour, neo-nazis. I do not recommend joining, as they make deleting your account close to impossible.

DO NOT JOIN. It's difficult to get your account deleted. It's just a website that's created by Russians with an agenda to push the idea of private labels into average customers who mainly wears designer. All the moderators are useless while they have their favourite flying monkeys that force private labels down your throats while making demeaning comments on designer fragrances. It's an strategic business plan by a bunch of Russians who only promote what they get paid for, rest they don't care about. If you don't agree to their taste for niche perfume which costs $700 they start looking down on you. It's mainly a very small elite community that runs the site and expects everyone to wear niche perfumery. If you have your own opinions and suggestions they try to prove you wrong. In their mind niche perfumery is the only way to go and no other perfumery exist. They even force niche on beginners. There are users who gang up on you based on the site owner's preferences. Let's just say they're hired to bully you based on your preference. I regularly see fake reviews being made and authentic reviews being deleted based on political agendas and paid promotions. It took me years to understand that the site is built by a bunch of private label owners that only want to force their views on people.

I'm having a difficult time deleting my Fragrantica account (or even getting assistance or confirmation from them) and I wish I'd never created it in the first place. They refused to post one of my reviews (it would post, then disappear shortly thereafter). I wasn't swearing or saying anything rude in it, just that I didn't like a certain fragrance. Basenotes, Boisdejasmin, and NSTperfume are all way better review sites and are run honestly with transparency. There's something seriously dysfunctional about the people who run Fragrantica. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's experienced issues with them. Beware...

Pro orcZZian site. Moscowit owned garbage dump. Check who owns it. Avoid at all costs- most likely data miner/ passwords fetcher. Change your other account' s passwords if you use the same e- mail and password combination.

Des comportements de gauchiasses frustrées, et très possiblement orientés par des accointances commerciales.

Ne leur faite pas l'honneur de votre présence. Trouvez mieux ailleurs. (j'éditerai pour proposer des pistes)

I was a member on Fragrantica for well over ten years. Since those days it has changed beyond all recognition to become a Trump loving hot bed of conspiracy theories posted by fruit loops from their bedrooms while dressed in nothing but their heavily soiled underwear and MAGA baseball hats.

I was shocked to realize that I couldn’t delete my profile from that awful site, which is filled with mostly fake perfume reviews. It took a great deal of time and effort to finally get my profile removed.

It's a good website but the comment search feature is lacking a good deal of modern stuff in my opinion.
Also it doesn't seem to cover other fragrances like from the essence vault so it's harder to get a good idea of what users think of said fragrances.

I got a bad case of the fragnaticatism, this site has literally every perfume ever and it's so detailed with their descriptions. It gives you links on good deals for the perfume too. 10/10, you 1 star folk are snobs

Three complaints:

1. I didn't believe it until I saw it, but this entire website is just an excuse for the mods to spread political propaganda. I am open to free speech, but this is a website about perfumes, and for perfume reviews. Shouldn't be anything other than that.

2. The mods are terrible at adding fragrances to their encyclopedia. I have about a dozen perfumes that the mods will not add that I can't put on my profile. They seem to focus on Trump more than running their own website.

3. The rating/liking system on reviews is hot garbage. Instead of upvotes and downvotes it's... balloons??? There's no explanation given or anything to be found when trying to search it, which is confusing to newer members. There's no way of telling how many likes or dislikes you've gotten, it's all just a bunch of balloons.

Trash website. Moderators suck. The people who live on it suck. The people who own it suck. You can’t post any bad reviews anywhere or else you’re personally attacked as if you’ve posted a review about their own mother. It’s cologne for God’s sake. Scented liquid inside a glass container that means nothing at the end of the day. The freaks that peruse the website like buzzards think this stuff has some kind of magical powers. It’s liquid in a bottle that smells. That’s it! It ain’t that serious! Buncha’ bizarre weirdos on there that really should go and do something with their lives rather than living on a website ran by communists. And by the way, they’re communists. They’re all from Russia. Russians are communists. Communists do not believe in your freedom and think that they own you. I can prove this because Fragrantica monitors your sent and received messages. So illegal and a violation of privacy. I hope this website burns in the deepest pits of hell where it belongs.
