From ordering to planted in 3 days!
We read the reviews and very nearly didn't order from this site, we are very glad that we decided to make our own minds up and ordered a pear tree from them. We ordered the tree on Tuesday 12th October, it was delivered and we planted it on Thursday 14th of October! It was excellently packaged, we were kept informed from DHL about what time it would be delivered and the chap that delivered it was very professional. We would certainly buy from them again.
No delivery and no contact....joke company
Placed an order on the 28th August, with no communication or delivery still by the 9th September. Joke company. Trading standards will now be contacted. Stay away from them!

As other reviews have mentioned, this is a company that seem to operate under three different names. All have many very poor reviews on trust pilot and Facebook.
I ordered two trees from this site. After receiving no delivery information, and reading the poor reviews, I tried to contact them on Facebook. I admit that this was only about 7 days after ordering.
I think a proper website that allows customers to check the status of their order would go a long way towards improving this company's service.
I recieved a refund very quickly when I contacted the company explaining that their Facebook page paints a concerning picture and that I wanted some reassurance my order would actually arrive.
Chris Bower, I hope you turn things around. Your website advertises some attractive stock. These days, people just expect a far smoother transaction when shopping online.
Great purchase, that might not have happened, very pleased
Two trees were ordered for my husbands birthday, in July. Had I read the reviews I would not have bought from this company. I am glad I did, loved the straw packaging which is environmentally friendly and protected the trees well. Both trees in good condition and as expected. Cost was good and look forward to planting and enjoying fruit in the future. Sad so many had bad experience, I really am pleased and rarely write reviews but feel balance sometimes required.
Columnar trees
The columnar trees I ordered came extremely well packed and healthy. (Plum, Apple and Pear)
Communication has been excellent. I've sent messages several times and had responses within the hour.
Due to the pandemic, the delivery times are a bit longer, but if you are patient (I wasn't!) It is worth the wait.
My trees came after three weeks, and although I bought some elsewhere also, these came in better condition and better packaging.
I did have some reservations initially, due to the number of negative reviews, but my experience has been very positive, and thus I will buy from them again.

This supplier is listed under three names for the same company. The telephone contact numbers given on the site are Royal Mail and nothing to do with the company. Avoid at all costs. Order your tree, pay for it, receive no tree, no feedback and no telephone contact or customer service at all.

Plum tree arrived packed in dry straw. Root ball dry does not look if it will survive have emailed but have not had a reply

Trees arrived on time in good condition. Best online purchase of plants I've made this year. Packaged well planted out straight away. Would buy again from supplier.
Never again, ever
Tree eventually arrived & immediately planted weeks ago. No sign of life - I telephoned & got voice message to email them. Email returned as not deliverable. Will get credit card company to cancel payment and possibly tell trading standards. Never again, ever.

I have been telling the company that it is dead for 6 weeks now, and they insist that a tree with a brittle stem, and bright orange lesions all over its bark will burst into life. No refund, and brusque to the point of rude 'service'.

I ordered 2 container trees Dec 2020. At the end of Jan 2021 I received a note to say they would be with me Feb. Then an email telling me no trees would be sent and money would be refunded in 8 days and not to get in touch. In March I emailed as no money received, no answer, another email sent, still no answer, have tried phoning but not replying, another 2emails sent, still no reply. One tree has been received, no refund for the second tree and no information. Would not use again and would not recommend. Should have read these reviews first, instead of their own webpage.
Feel cheated
Ordered August 2020 for Autumn delivery. Now April 2021, no trees, and no refund. Only replied to 2 of my emails and I made the mistake of sympathising with the list of Covid related problems they gave for the horrendous delay. In consequence I left it too late to claim back from PayPal. Now I’ve asked for a refund they are ignoring me. Way and above the worst experience I’ve had in many years of internet shopping,

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Two poorly packed trees delivered with broken limbs. Emails were not replied to, communication poor, dispatch slow and packing appalling.

I would give this a 0 but couldn't. Ordered a tree in January only to be told in March they were refunding me due to not supplying the product on time. I ordered from somewhere else then they delivered the tree anyway. I got in touch to help them collect the tree they sent being told my refund was still with "accounts", this is a lie and there is no accounts team. After collection they then fobbed me off with "accounts" again then finally told me I had to claim a charge back from PayPal, terrible customer service, would not recommend, just another cowboy.
Wholly disreputable.
Ordered 2 container grown apple trees in June 2020 and paid for through PayPal. Few weeks later advised order would not be fulfilled due to grading issues. However, offered bare root stock and a free tree which was promised to be delivered in Autumn. Regretfully my order never arrived and a refund request was not forthcoming despite numerous emails sent chasing delivery and constant unfulfilled assurances given by Chris Bower. Have reported to Trading Standards as I am unable to obtain a refund through PayPal as it is beyond their 180 days protection period. There is no doubt CRJ fruit trees are wholly disreputable and judging by the number of poor ratings they receive it could be argued that their actions are deliberate bordering on fraud. I will be pursuing other actions to obtain my refund and to warn other consumers.

I ordered 7 cordon fruit trees in september 2020. Later, I emailed to ask when I could expect them and had a reply the same afternoon (Sunday!) to inform me that my trees would arrive by March. All but one arrived mid February, well packaged and in superb condition. Jon also informed me that the one outstanding on the order will be despatched this week. I think they are a reputable company who have been hit hard by Covid and are trying their best. Edward P.
