Not only did I receive first class professional treatment but shown a great deal of care by all the different staff.

I’ve been with Fylde Private Medical since September 2025, and their clear reports and expert GP support have genuinely helped me understand my health better.

Completing the Emerald Laser programme over four weeks pushed that progress even further, helping me lose an additional stone in that time. It’s been a brilliant addition to my journey, and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

By March 2026, I’m more energetic, more focused, 37 year old male and more informed about my health than ever before.

Ultimately, you really do get what you pay for

Poor service. Paid £200+ for some blood tests and was told i would get them via email and i explained i couldnt get the results via phone call as i was going back to australia, they said no problem. Then the results come and they wont email me and wont allow me to do a whatsapp call even though they said they could. Theyve given me the run around and spoke complete and utter nonsense. so im sat here out of pocket, no results and still nothing. Very unprofessional.

As a 73 year old, I had developed unsightly veins on my cheeks.

I underwent thread vein treatment, which I found painless and took no time at all.

The results were better than expected & would highly recommend Fylde Private Medical Practice and my practitioner Edwin Sinclair in particular

I saw Doug, the facial surgeon to discuss removing a mole from my upper lip, after discussing this previously with a different GP and being advised to leave it be in case it affected my lip I was unsure if I wanted to proceed with the removal. The mole had been bothering me after growing over recent years and I begun to feel more conscious about it so I decided to get a second opinion from Doug.
Doug reassured me straight away, confirmed it would be a very straight forward procedure with minimum healing time so we went ahead and I was booked in for the following week.
The procedure itself took only about 10 mins and then I was off to work with a couple of stitches in my lip, I felt no pain at all. A week later I went back for my stitches out and once it was fully healed you would never know I had a mole there, you can’t see a scar or anything. I am so pleased with the result and if it wasn’t for Doug’s reassurance I don’t think I would have took the plunge to have it done.

Have had multiple visits to Flyde Private since 2023 for Health MOT, ECG's, GP visits, dermatology consults and two ultrasound scans. The joy of getting older.
My experience has always been very positive, great staff, thorough, professional, attentive and the front desk team are excellent.
Appointments are usually available at short notice which is valuable when a health matter is of concern.
Overall = excellent.

I recently visited the practice for a health MOT and I cannot fault the service or the staff. I had some anxiety surrounding blood tests due to previous bad experiences and Isabel was particularly excellent at making me feel at ease and I didn’t feel a thing! Would 100% recommend checking out the services on offer. The practise itself is a lovely, calming environment, which is always a bonus!

I am so impressed with the service I received from FPM. I had developed eczema on my face and neck and after a couple of visits to my NHS GP, who was lovely, but only prescribed hydrocortisone cream that wasn't working, I needed some advice quickly as it was spreading. FPM provided me with a dermatology availability within 48 hours. Dr Rahim was fast to identify the issue, explain the treatment and prescribed a 2 week skin routine. All symptoms cleared within 5 days!

I would not give one star . These people rip me off and give me items that you can buy on Amozan uk, I paid 250.00for private. And charged me for items that are sold on Amozan, 215.00 said to me you only get these creams on at this place they charged me I did not have a choice and they didn't tell me how much they cost, before selling me the items , I went there for a perception .
They ask me a question if I wanted the receipt or not. In other words you supposed to give the receipt if something goes wrong, and advise you if you not happy or something goes wrong we happy to change it. I recommend people not to go to the dermatologist. It's a scam. I recommend people not to go here. They scam you.he didn’t give me a prescription and I recommend stick to nhs I no you have to wait but at least . You don’t get ripped off off. Why would I pay so much for private and don’t get a prescription and get items that are sold at Amozan. And these creams don’t work, and you still give me creams that sold on market. So disappointed. I’m still got my problem.

This is a completely honest review of the practice, my wife had sore on her shin that did not heal, she saw the dermatologist who said Doug Hammond a skin cancer surgeon should take a look at it, he immeditely said it was a skin cancer but not a Melanoma. He then with a felt tip drew a large circle around the wound and then said he would cut around 3 inches and remove the sore, then he would cut 3 inches from anothr part of her leg and graft on the skin. I then said to him why are you not doing a Biopsy first ?? I also asked him could it be a Venous ulcer as my mother had one . His reply in his brash manner was no way its a skin cancer, so I sked him to do a punch Biopsy which he did. He stitched the wound with three stitches then took them out and re did it as it was wrong. He never gave my wife any hint of after care but did say the sore would not kill her, lovely. The Biopsy came back and guess what it was an ulcer !!! My wifes ankle swelled up which is apparent with leg ulcers, so we went back , the Doctor said that is a DVT we need to take blood to check immediately, this sample came back negative for DVT, however he suggested an Ultra sound which is £400. She went back for the Ultra sound and guess what no DVT, they do not communicate in there as the chap doing the Ultra sound had no idea what my wife was there for. When she came out it was though we have had your money and nothing to date 13/6/2025 prescibed for the ulcer. on another note Doug Hammond is a maxillo facial surgeon with an iterest in skin cancer !! He actually does work at Woodlands dentist in Ansdell. This practice builds up your bill unecessarily. On a good note the girls on reception and the nurses are spot on. So folks carry on going there but treat my review seriously as it is the absolute truth.

Great in every way. Would not hesitate to visit again. Same day appointment. Nice surroundings, pleasant staff, and everything dealt with efficiently and with outstanding levels of service. The GP was a truly nice man, and put me at ease right away, as did all the staff.

Next day appointment. Fantastic service from a very friendly team. Plenty of time for thorough discussion with the GP. I can not recommend their service highly enough.

I eagerly visited Flyde GP services seeking an alternative to my own GP, but despite a warm welcome, the service fell short. Despite expressing my desire for comprehensive testing to address the root cause of my skin issue, I was only given steroid creams. After returning and insisting on tests, the GP dismissed the need and offered no further assistance. Now, having experienced a worsening condition affecting my eyes and neck, I am pursuing a different private service for a more thorough evaluation. Regrettably, my experience with Flyde GP services has led to significant negative impacts on my mental health and quality of life, prompting me not to recommend their services.

Very friendly and professional.
Recently had a consultation with Dr Maharaj, as I had a worrying skin lesion on my face. He checked it out and put my mind at rest, as it was nothing to worry about. He suggested that he could perform a procedure to remove it, which he did and within half an hour it was gone and is now healing nicely. Big thank you to Dr Maharaj and all the team there. There are no words that can explain how exceptional the service and care given to my daughter by Dr Maharaj and the receptionist Devon. My daughter has been suffering with complex paralysing migraine. The doctor saw her twice and was caring, empathetic and thorough and invested in her care. A referral was promptly sent to a neurologist. Without a doubt will be back with any concerns with the my daughter or family members. First class. Do not hesitate to use Fylde Private GP. Thank you for everything.
