Excellent service

Excellent service - arrived on time, explained the boiler issue and what the options were for fixing, carried out the service and tidied up after. Very helpful and knew the product.

John Thompson came for a non ignition…

John Thompson came for a non ignition fault he diagnosed the problem and fixed it in good time he kept me informed of what the issue was all the time.
This is the second time John has been to my fire and he does a very good job with a real friendly attitude hope I get him the next time I need something done.

Gasco are a very reliable company.

Gasco are a very reliable company.. they have gone above and beyond to repair our boiler…in a timely manner.. courteous staff and always willing to help from the office staff to the engineers.
Has been a real pleasure.

Fast Response and Very Helpful!

I have had a cover plan for 15 years with GASCO; I called them yesterday over a problem that I was having with my boiler, which may have been my fault with trying to sort out the pressure. I called them at 1pm and they arrived by 2pm. It was my fault, they fixed it, gave me instructions to help me and left. Brilliant service and I wasn't made to feel that I was useless! Cant recommend enough :)

Top company

Gasco’s communication is great. They’re easy to contact and respond straight away.
Staff are very friendly while doing a good job.
I wouldn’t dream of using anyone else

Faultless

I was aware of this company through Which? Trusted Traders and had met the service engineer Mike Bolton previously. He is professional, thorough and explains what he looks for in a boiler service. He also provided useful advice during his visit.

Gasco have always been reliable for our annual boiler service

We've had our boiler serviced for several years by Gasco and were the original installers of our boiler. Elaine and admin team are super and have always been helpful and efficient. The engineers are punctual friendly, and leave everything tidy. Great company and thanks again for your work each year.

Rude, bad service and rip off prices

Very poor communication, staff in the office (Elaine Bennett) stroppy and rude. Came for a repair, which had been discussed and a service. Engineer said he knew nothing about the repair on arrival and suggested the service could be done when he returned for the repair to which I agreed. I then had a bill for £35 because he attended. The quote was also more than double the price I paid a different company. All Elaine Bennett would say, in a very stroppy manner was "I put the information on the work sheet" and "we attended so you have to pay". I have paid but I will never use them again. Bad service and rip off prices.

Dear David, I have now spoken with Elaine and Mike (our engineer) and can report the following:
1. You booked us to carry out a service on your boiler & attend to a fault with the hot water.
2. Mike did know about the fault with the hot water as it was detailed in his works order.
3. The £35 was issued, as explained, because the engineer went into the loft to carry his own diagnostic checks on the boiler.
4. As mutally agreed, we would supply a quotation for carrying out the repair and service of the boiler on one visit.
5. We issued a quote 2 days later via email.
6. I was sat opposite Elaine during the two phone calls and at no point did i consider that she conducted herself in a "stroppy and rude" manner. She is an exemplary member of the team.
7. Quotes will vary from company to company as there are many variables when it comes to costing repair works, such as supplier terms, engineer's estimate on labour required to carry out the work and companies having varied overheads to cover (which will all have a bearing on the final price).

I can’t recommend Gasco highly enough.
In this world of automated services it’s refreshing to have a personal service.
The service we receive is reliable and engineers are always professional and personable.
