AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL moving company!!
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL moving company!!! Damaged/broke so many of my items and thew so much of my stuff in my yard. I filed a claim and they barely gave me any money back in relation to how much stuff they damaged. They snapped a $300 lamp in half and gave me $10 for it. I kept calling asking for a refund/partial refund for the actual move because of the inconvenience they caused and they gave me $18 back hahahaha not even enough to pay for my dinner that night. Total slap in the face. PLEASE do yourself a favor and don't even go to their website! HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

To clarify, at the time of booking, you selected the Release Value Coverage for your move. This coverage is based on the weight of the items rather than their purchase price. We offered additional coverage options for your items, but you opted for the coverage mentioned.
We understand your concerns regarding the compensation for the damaged items. You have already signed a settlement agreement and received a refund for the damages. Additionally, we provided a discount due to the poor service you experienced.
We take your feedback seriously and will use it to improve our services. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us directly.

Absolute worst moving experience I have…
Absolute worst moving experience I have ever experienced. They showed up a hour late. Did not wrap or blanket anything. I took my door off so they could get the refrigerator through and they had only brought a furniture dolly and strap. Should have just left the door on bc they just yanked it through the door scratching my fridge and ripping one of the doors off. They got to our new house and slammed it on the pavement bc they said it was to heavy. Then while moving it into the new house they put a really nice hole in the wall. It was like hiring two good ole boys off the street to move probably would have been cheaper and less damage. The company of course has offered me $120 to fix the fridge that cost $3200. I honestly do not understand how this company can send people like this out to your home and not care one bit.

Preventing damages is a critical focus of our Operations Team. Due to this, we shared this feedback with the Market Manager to ensure the mover’s performance improves for the future.
Our system reflects that you have been in contact with our Claims Team regarding these damages. We apologize that you were not satisfied with our proposed compensation. We compensate for damages based on each item’s moving industry standard weight, calculated at .60/lb as stated in our Terms of Service. However, in response to the feedback you've provided, your claims agent is carefully assessing the damages with the possibility of additional compensation.
We appreciate you taking the time to review and leave feedback as we continue to refine our claims processes. Please contact support@bellhop.com if you have any further questions or concerns.
Bait and switch
I scheduled and paid for 3 movers to unload my pod. The day of service, the original movers canceled and Bellhop sent me only 2 people. These 2 guys were hard working but Bellhop won't split the pay for the 3rd guy I initially paid for between the 2 that actually showed up nor have they given me a refund for the difference. Not a happy mover at all.
