The move went smoothly with thanks to Fernando and Ezechiel! Friendly, efficient, helpful and hardworking, we had an excellent team. This was our second time using Bellhop and we’d use them again!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I used bellhop for my long distance move from Texas to Illinois. They broke multiple pieces of my furniture, the driver was rude and didn’t follow instructions and the claim team was absolutely awful. Bellhop states that they resolve all claims in 5 business days yet it’s been almost 3 weeks since I moved and getting answers out of them is like pulling teeth. The claims team is a mess and do not communicate with each other, every time you get assigned to a new team member you have to reexplain the whole claim despite filling out constant forms and uploading photos of the damage. If you value your possessions and good customer service, do yourself a favor and use another moving company. Cheap isn’t always better.

They really suck. THEY DID A MOVE THIS YEAR 2/2/25 AND LEFT OR STOLE SOME OF MY STUFF. THEY WERE UNPROFESSIONAL AND STUPID. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

The team work together well they were courteous, they were thorough they made sure everything was taken care of and they asked me if I had any questions. They said what they were going to do and they did it.

Worst moving experience I’ve ever had. They were 6+ hours late and broke a chair. Bellhop did nothing to support or rectify the situation. Avoid Bellhop at all costs.

HORRIBLE!!! On 4/26/24 I contracted with Bellhop Moving to move me 2 miles away on 5/31/24 with a start time between 2-3 pm. I paid a deposit of $102 at that time to reserve my move. At 8:30 am on 5/31, they called and said they wouldn't arrive until 3 pm because their first move was running long. I told them that was fine and then at 3:30 pm they called again saying they would have to reschedule me because they no longer had a truck or driver for me. Rescheduling was not an option for me as I had to be out of my old apartment that same day and I would have made that clear at the time of booking and/or not booked them had they simply been upfront about rescheduling being a possibility.

After numerous calls, they finally told me that they could still provide me with movers but that I would have to rent my own truck and find my own driver. At ~4 pm, they said my new movers would arrive no later than 5 pm. The 2 movers arrived an hour late at 6 pm and finished my move at ~11:30 pm. These guys were great but my move was not a 2 man job! I was told I'd have a crew of 3 but only got 2 and naturally the move took longer than it should have, however, Bellhop won't work with me to cut any labor hours off of my final bill. I also had to pay for renting a Uhaul, driver, and transportation to/from the Uhaul rental location out of pocket which I believe Bellhop should reimburse me for. The only accommodation they made was not charging me $150 for a truck and driver, but my total costs associated with procuring my own exceeded that by nearly $300.

I contacted them asking for a partial credit and they didn't respond. They should reimburse my out-of-pocket costs and cut some of the labor hours since they didn't fulfill all of the obligations they committed to: provide me a truck and driver, start my move between 2 and 3 pm, and send a crew of 3. Not to mention the emotional stress of this move! I'd give 0 stars if possible - DO NOT BOOK THEM!

Clear instructions and estimates. Movers arrived on time and we're experienced. There was an issue with extra time taken by the movers which Bellhop promptly addressed by refunding the extra time. I appreciate the professionalism.

Moving is never fun or easy, but these guys made it painless!

Movers were quick, efficient, and took extreme care with my items. The Bellhop staff was extremely communicative leading up to the move, and I felt extremely prepared prior to the move date.

Overall I was satisfied but the movers broke a couple of items, were on the phone while moving items, and left broken glass in the driveway.

Alex, Sam, and Oscar were incredible. All 3 showed up to the move early and ready to roll! They were easy to talk to and dedicated to moving me as quickly as possible. We finished the move in under the projected time and I'd recommend them any day of the week.

Terez and Sam were very professional, fast, strong, friendly and approachable. We are very impressed with them. They did a fantastic job and helped us to pack up everything in one move. They made it happen as we were very worried that we may have to do two trips. Thank you thank you Terez and Sam 😊👍😍

Our experience with Bellhop was amazing. They were able to move our entire 2 bedroom apartment halfway across the United States in two days. They were the only moving company that was able to flex to our schedule and it made things so easy considering we only had a month notice. They kept an open line of communication and we were never surprised with extra charges. The crew they sent us was incredible. I highly recommend checking them out and I will be contacting them for future moves.
