Great letting agents they are. They booked viewing only on one call. No waiting or call back and we will see stuff. Labeeb came to show us property. Labeeb is very professional. He listened my issues regarding property and asked few questions. He got the answers very next morning. Labeeb, you have a good future so just keep it like this. I will definitely suggest this agency and Labeeb to others.

I had a great experience while looking at a few rental properties and was pleased with that they had to offer. Dushali had shown me a few rentals and had explained the ins and outs perfectly.
I would recommend to use Gibbs Gillespie for any rental/ property inquiries.

Do not sell your property with this branch / company!
Over the 8 months it took them to 'sell' my property, I had to chase them, advise how to 'sell' a property and location to a potential client, repeatedly tell them not to enter my property without my permission, remind them to turn lights off and close main doors. Their understanding and knowledge of the English language was poor, they give you the big sell but there is no substance behind the words. They happily gave a set of keys to someone to the property without checking ID. Zero contact from them about the day of completion. Talking to them was like talking to a brick wall. All for the price of £8,000 absolute joke!

Moved in to a flat which was filthy, mattress urine stained, carpets covered with dirt, and Hossam from Gibbs Gillespie claimed we had accepted as seen.
Eventually after numerous complaints a cursory 40 minute clean was carried out, a week after keys handed over. Would never use again

Slimy, not trustworthy agents. Do not use. Or if this is the only choice, have everything in writing and complain to TPO straight away.
They advertised to me and my daughter, "A stylish property in a waterside development with a balcony overlooking the river’ for quite a decent amount of money. After I signed the contract for 12 months and moved in, the property was surrounded by scaffolding. The agency pretended they had no clue about it even though they were physically located in the same building, as if they just came to work one day and "Oops, there is scaffolding!"

Imagine the stress for me and my daughter of constructors looking into our bedroom!

Luckily, a property ombudsman, who considered my complaint, awarded me a compensation for:
The Agent did not provide us with the relevant information about the property, failed to request material information etc.
The ombudsman concluded that "it is evident that this matter has caused significant aggravation and distress" to me and my daughter which "could have been avoided if the proper process had been followed".
Overall, never trust this agency.
If you do not have other choices, have everything in writing: your offer, your requirements for the property, etc. If they violate your rights, file a complaint with the property ombudsman (TPO) straight away.

Unauthorized deductions of rental without prior notification or agreement, and they carried on for three months before getting resolved despite complaining on day 1 when illegal deductions was made.
Avoid it if you don't want sub-standard Services from estate agent.

They are a very bad real estate agency. We wanted to rent a house that we talked about and there were certain details to confirm but in a matter of hours they raised the price of the house, what a lack of seriousness and nowadays as the cost of living is crazy and unscrupulous. My question is, do the owners know what they are doing with their properties, why do they have to have a contract and a valuation of the property? Bad performance of the agency.

It has been the most tedious experience using Gibbs Gillespie as an agent to let out our flat. No one ever responds in time, or if there is a response it is filled with empty platitudes and straight out lies.

During the rental period, we found they took more than the expected fee and we had to calculate for the last year and inform them of erroneous deductions.

After which it took them over 3 months to return the money owed to us.

We are now facing unneeded delay in returning the deposit to the tenant, inconveniencing everyone during these troubled times.

Their emails are empty of meaning or action and words strung together for the sake of a reply.

I would never recommend using this company for lettings or sale.

I would not recommend using them again as a landlord.

Their costs are much higher than most estate agents so I would have expected a superior service. But there is no communication - they don’t respond to emails or deal with any problems that arise. They just keep taking their 13 percent. Do not entrust your property to this company - you can find better and cheaper.

Recently I was introduced to Karam Sobti based in Brentford. It was a pleasure working with Karam who was pro-active, helpful, efficient and responsive. Thank you Karam.

Had such a great experience with Thorghills both as a buyer and landlord however since the sale to Gibbs Gillespie, communication has been poor, service negligent and most recently money deducted from rent illegally followed by no rectification and emails being ignored. Wouldn't recommend and intend to change agents as soon as current tenancy comes to an end.

Completely unresponsive and unhelpful. The representative I spoke with on the phone multiple times was incredibly rude. Do not recommend.

We have never used the services of this company and did not know about its existence. When I received an offensive email from this company, I knew that I would never contact them. I don't know where they got the information about our rented apartment from. They only ruined our mood and took time to write complaints.
