I was very disappoInflexible expiry policy â losing a group gift and losing a customerinted withâŠ
I was very disappointed with GiftRoundâs handling of my FlexCard. The voucher expired after 12 months and, despite contacting them within three days of expiry and explaining difficult personal circumstances (recent return from maternity leave), they refused to reinstate the remaining balance. They did offer a one-off goodwill replacement of £112.50, which I accepted, but Iâm upset that the full value couldnât be restored or that there wasnât more flexibility given this was a group gift bought for me in good faith. Customer service was polite and clear, but the policy felt inflexible and leaves unanswered questions about what happens to unused funds once a voucher expires. I will not be using GiftRound for my team at work in future, which is a shame because we used it regularly.

Our FlexCard vouchers have a 12-month expiry period and, once expired, any unused balance can no longer be accessed in the same way as an active voucher.
While we did make an exception in this case to try to help, Iâm sorry this still wasnât the outcome you were hoping for.

Easy, efficient and honest
I found it really easy to use and navigate and was able to organise the collection in record time. It was great having the controls on it such as choosing when to end the collection and being able to purchase a gift card to send directly to the individual was another plus. I also like that every penny goes to the recipient rather than going to the site. I will definitely use it again!

Safe and straight forward way to collect messages and £donations from colleagues
This as a safe way for me to collect both donations and personal messages from colleagues for a manager who was retiring. All the funds raised go to the person in the form of an ecard that can be spent in well known high street shops. It did not involve me sharing my personal bank account details which I was not comfortable doing both for me and overall transparency with my colleagues. It all went smoothly, and there was prompt replies and support from the team as and when needed. At the end, you can download all the lovely messages on a PDF to share with the recipient which is a nice touch and something they can save if the would like to do that.
