An unprofessional employee of this company thought that it was funny to block parents in car parking bays in a car park in South Shields yesterday who were waiting to pick kids up from school.
He was the driver of a Glendale Services van for which he later claimed to be the manager which I highly doubt.
He was clearly very busy in the middle of a work day and when he was politely asked to move the van after clearly showing no intention of doing so and sauntering around the car park, he arrogantly said I was to wait 5 minutes and refused to move.
Upon challenging him, he was a fine display of everything that you would not want to represent your company.
He eventually moved and engaged in conversation with a male driver about how daft I was for daring to have a reaction to him attempting to dismiss me.
I wonder if he would have acted the same if a man had got out of the car and asked him to move or if he was blocked in himself.
His silent front seat colleague was equally as culpable, who sat silently observing whilst on his mobile phone throughout this interaction.
If this is how employees of Glendale treat members of the public I would avoid at all costs.

Pretty poor service from Glendale transport based on middlefields industrial estate. South Shields, recptionist was quite abrupt asking when would be best time to
Deliver then when I said she said she couldn’t guarantee that time. After explaining I would be at work and that is the only possible time to accept delivery as it’s quite a large delivery, still would not agree to delivering after 230pm, although they could of put it on planning to be last delivery and back to depot which is less than a mile away.
So ive had to make arrangements to collect it myself. Reply poor service

Was woken abruptly by the sound of a commercial strimmer and leaf blower at 6.59 am this morning. The Glendale worker was asked to stop their work by a neighbour and to start again after the required time of 8am). The worker waited for my neighbour to leave and promptly restarted their work, with no care or consideration to anyone.

As a church in Co. Antrim, we've used Glendale on numerous occasions. They've always been super helpful and courteous. On every occasion they've done a brilliant job and left the site clean and tidy. Yes, some of their equipment is noisy, but you can't expect anything else with this type of work.

For some reason, my council has started hiring these cowboys to cut down trees on an estate opposite me. They've spent 7+ hours loudly sawing and chopping up a few trees, clearly dragging their heels with it for as long as possible. As well as taking up numerous parking spaces in the process. Two of their vans then proceeded to park directly outside my house and start chopping up the trees inside a painfully loud wood grinder. Alongside this hellish noise, of their workmen started blasting loud music from their van radio, making it impossible for me to work from home.

Judging by the other reviews here, the company is run by a bunch of scummy people who employ scummy workers. Don't even bother trying to ring them to complain because there's a fake phone number displayed on their vans!

Carrying out work on adjoining property. Parked truck and grinder on private property without permission obstructing parked vehicles and refused to move.

I’m still waiting for my complaint to be addressed from JULY it’s now NOVEMBER one of there gardeners smashed one of my garden pots by accident, I was in at the time but not informed, all I was asking was for a replacement pot
It took until late Oct to even get a reply after lots of phone calls emails etc,I was told I would get a new pot and he would be In touch when I returned from holiday November 2nd I’m still waiting !!

Terrible company, terrible workers, avoid at all costs.

Absolutely appalled at your company in Hayle cornwall they parked there van outside our driveway obstructing our access to get out i went out and said you can't park there they said just come and find us when you need to go out we can't find a parking space anywhere i was fuming we did need to go out they were no where to be seen i had to go and look for them they where at the other side of our estate one of them was chargehand 104 and said that i give them permission to park there i didn't rude they just think they can do what they like very disappointed the way they treat peaple i would never have them do my garden

One of their drivers on the 14th of March 2025 at 3pm in the Kew area number plate FN22 CWM was extremely offensive on the road. Cutting in front of other drivers and pointing his middle finger. Extremely rude and out of control individual. Not a good representative of the company and their services.

I have been trying for the last year to get a report on a Japanees Knot weed report, they have attended the building plot and provided a report but I have not received a copy and completely ignore me
