I can highly recommend GG to anyone who is looking for a special present for any occasion. I ordered a memorial plant, crate and plaque and it was well received and cherished by my friend who is going through the worst of times. From order to delivery, customer service was superb and the choice of plants covers all budgets. I will definately order from these guys again!

I ordered two plants - one for a wedding gift and one for a new baby - after being gifted a tree myself earlier in the year. Both sets of recipients were thrilled and have said that they will be making a feature of their new plants in planned garden makeovers. I ordered both from the 'new baby' ideas tab as the ones I found fitted both the occasions and the individuals - so was able to personalise the crates as well. They really are beautifully packaged (my rabbits loved living in the wood swirls from mine) and convey a real sense of wonder when they arrive. Communications were excellent throughout and I would certainly both recommend and use again

Bit late with this review. Received a mulberry tree (twig) from you 9 years ago. It always has lots of leaves but not had 1 berry in all of that time. I did follow the instructions to the letter but I am now fed up with it and will be removing it from my garden tomorrow

I love the really innovative range of products offered by the company and I selected a passion fruit for my cousin's special big birthday. Delivery was really timely and she was so thrilled to receive such a novel gift so beautifully packaged and with such a unique slate greeting card. The plant was in excellent condition and hopefully should last for years to come. All in all a great experience!

got the mediterranean garden from my grannie for my birthday and i’m actually obsessed 😭😭😭 all the plants came looking fresh and they’re actually so cute?? turned my ldn balcony into mykonos vibe in zone 2 :))

Followed the instructions and nothing happened. 2 tiny green shoots after 3 weeks. Loved the idea of it, unfortunately it just didn’t work.

I am amending my review from 1 star to 2. I was unhappy with the pomegranate tree on arrival, it was not flowering, some leaves were crispy brown and it looked like an unhappy plant. Despite the company offering a partial refund if I return the plant and wine, I do not want to spend more money on getting padding and packaging etc so I have decided to keep the items and not buy from the store again. I still feel that the items are not good value for money, however I wanted something special for my parents 40th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately the plant does not look special enough for me to present it as a gift and I have since got them something else. Im hoping that the plant will bloom in time anyway, as I fear that it will die completely if I return it to seller, as this may take a few days for the process to complete.

I bought this as a Mother’s Day gift for my mum! She was absolutely delighted! The packaging was beautiful and the trees were in pristine condition! It also came with individual care instructions for each plant! Amazing! Thank you so much for making my mums day special!

Having been impressed by a rose bush from the Gluttonous Gardener we then bought from them a passion flower. Their plants are of excellent quality, beautifully presented and sustainably packaged. We had an unexpected problem with the passion flower but the Gluttonous Gardener's response was prompt and very helpful - outstanding customer service.

This company is an amazing go to for all occasions many people have loved receiving their gifts beautifully packaged. I had my first experience over 15 years ago and the olive tree is now over 10ft high in my garden. I would highly recommend they never fail to deliver quality.

My husband gave me a lovely lemon tree (or as I like to call it "my Gin and Tonic Tree") from the Gluttonous Gardener for Christmas which was full of fruit.

We have used The Gluttonous Gardener for many years to send Christmas gifts to our customers and corporate clients, including olive trees, coffee plants and wine and grape vine crates. Their customer services team are friendly and professional, and the crates always arrive beautifully packaged and exactly as pictured. This year, we sent out more than 30 gifts from The Gluttonous Gardener and received many thank you emails and messages from delighted clients. They have also arranged to have some of the gifts personalised with our logo, which worked really well. The plants have always been well received, and some customers have sent us pictures several years later of trees and grape wines thriving in their gardens. We also have two twenty year old olive trees in the garden of our London showroom which came from The Gluttonous Gardener many years ago! Highly recommended

I ordered the cranberry plant and this is classed on their own website as being an evergreen plant (which it is!) and to not be kept in its box longer than 4 days.
It arrived and I immediately removed it from the box (as per their advise) and the plant was clearly dead- dark purple/brown dried leaves and one solo cranberry hanging on for dear life.
I contacted the company and a ‘Jess’ responded and instead of apologising and offering to send me a new one, she tried to flat out lie and state it ISN’T an evergreen plant and is just dormant at this time of the year.
How super disappointing for a small business.
I have sought advice from professional horticulturalists and they all agree that the plant is dead and was likely kept in the box for far too long before being sent.
Honestly as this was a gift for my daughter for Christmas to make her own cranberry sauce (which is what this plant is marketed as) I’m extremely disappointed by what I’ve received and the companies response thereafter.
I would NOT recommend.

Received a wonderful plant as a gift for my family, packed very nicely and arrived on time. I originally ordered the wrong one and customer service was very helpful in changing my order before shipping! Will definitely buy again!

Just sent a Myrtle Crate to a friend who’s about to get married - it’s traditional to put myrtle into a wedding bouquet. She was blown away by how thoughtful the gift was! Thank you so much!

Buyer beware. I had two Birthday gifts purchased from this company last year. One walnut plant and one tea plant. Neither plant seemed particularly vibrant especially the walnut that resembled a branch but the advice was moving into the Autumnal season that the plants would blossom come spring so both were kept protected in a polytunnel. The condition of the walnut was of particular concern and after raising this with the company the plant was replaced. The tea plant just seemed dormant so it was maintained as advised. After persevering, I again contacted the company l to raise my concerns I was informed that the plant would not be replaced as it was out of the one year guarantee period. Dissapointing to say the least as this company is not cheap and both original plants were below par. I have spent a lot of money over the past year purchasing quality plants and would not recommend this company. For plant quality and customer service you are better off considering Scotts plants direct UK and Roots Plants.

We received a Golden Rose today which was a replacement from a previous purchase. Ellen rectified our problem very efficiently and speedily. The Rose arrived today very well packaged and is an excellent specimen!
