My new Vale Boots arrived today, & they are beautiful, so well made & luxurious, & arrived in lovely packaging too, I hadn’t realised they were on backorder, & when I emailed, the customer service was excellent with a prompt reply, A very nice company, I will be back again…

These are some of the best shoes I have ever had. Price, durability, look, everything is A+++

Great product. We bought slippers and they are still looking fantastic a year later. Quick delivery also. Would definitely buy from them again.

Over the years, I have bought three pairs of formal shoes from this company. Two of the pairs have been faulty. Sluggish performance, long reply times from customer support. I will not be returning as a customer.

Joke of a company. I ordered my shoes on October 17th. At the time, they were advertised as next-day delivery. I was informed by customer service that, that was a mistake, and if I read the small print, it says week commencing 3rd November.... very disingenuous.

Anyway, still no tracking, and I am now being told, even though they are still advertising and misleading 3rd November, that the shoes won't actually arrive until 19th November, a month after I ordered them.

I have asked for a full refund, and no response.

Shambles of a company and very dishonest advertising.

Great slippers, good quality, I buy before Christmas every year. Shopping is quick and always arrives well packaged.

DO NOT BUY. The ‘sheepskin’ slippers I ordered are terrible quality, and I heavily suspect they have never been near a sheep in their poor, flimsy life. They feel like cardboard and plastic. Their returns portal doesn’t work, and they only got back to me after multiple emails. They then charged me another £5 to return them. The cheek of it. It’s got to be a scam company - even if only in the sense they are portraying shocking quality products as decent goods.

And now to add insult to injury, they tried to get me to take down this review by claiming it was for another company. If that were true, why have they just replied to my review, in which they have now claimed I wore the slippers. I only tried one on, and the stuffing was still inside the other one. So they lie too.

High quality shoes that last - prices are reasonable too.

Great service, quick to dispatch and deliver. The quality of the product is superb! My husband says the dressing gown is comfortable, warm and cosy. He loves it! 👌

I bought my slippers from Godwin Smith nine months ago and am delighted with them. I prefer to leave reviews after I've owned / used an item for a while and can confirm that my slippers have not only proved blissfully warm and comfortable but also pleasingly hardwearing. I highly recommend them and will certainly buy another pair when mine eventually go to Slipper Heaven (which, however, they show no sign of doing any time soon).

MOULDY SHOES!!

Avoid like the plague. Absolutely disgusting boots were sent to me so obviously no quality control. I have an infant at home as well so Absolutely livid!!

Wonderful shoes. I ordered a brown pair of boat loafers and a pair of black oxford leather patent shoes in size 12. By far the comfiest and highest quality shoes I've ever owned. You can tell how well made they are when you try them on.
