I chose GoodieHost from the list of free hosting services because of the largest number of options that are available only in paid hosting. I registered a domain with GoodieHost. There is a moment for those who will also go this way. after 24 hours the SL certificate did not automatically appear and the DNS did not work (the site was not displayed). Therefore, I had to contact technical support to solve these problems. Don't worry, technical support responds and solves the problem ironically within 24 hours. They are very polite. So I continue to work on the site.

Bad experience

Bad experience. Not able to receive their validation email from their control panel at all. After open a ticket, they resent it manually. I have no idea when are they going to check the ticket. By the time I received their email, the validation link already expired. Don’t expect we standby our timing for you. You should make this easy for us.

Funny thing is, I am able to receive all their pushy paid hosting emails without issue.

Terrible

Terrible, couldn’t even get my site to work. They push you to switch to paid hosting. Save your time, and just self host that way there are no caveats, limits and so on.

unbearable experience for free hosting

Apart from the fact that the support links don't lead anywhere, the chat in the bottom right corner opens by itself, an unwanted advertisement pops up right in the center even though there's space on the sides for it, and in the security settings (after logging in) literally nothing appears; every time I want to log in I have to do it through "Forgot Password?", because the website decides to display "Login Details Incorrect. Please try again." even though I enter the new password correctly several times, although it doesn't compare to registering a free subdomain; After choosing the desired name, it tells you that a confirmation email will be sent shortly to verify the domain associated with the subdomain. However, it never arrives, and after 24 hours of requesting registration, it's canceled. The domain management panel is empty (although there's an "sslInactive" hidden in the source code), which might prevent me from removing it from the orders, but also doesn't allow me to register any other subdomains because it says "Please correct the following errors before continuing:
You have reached the maximum number of 1 product(s) on the Free Hosting Group in your account." The only good thing I can say here is that the registered subdomain, even though the site says it's been canceled, exists and already has content, but I'm far from managing it (because of the empty panel, I think). I highly recommend using ByetHost instead (which I like the least because of the method for accessing subdomain administration, in addition to some problems with filemanager.ai), InfinityFree (better than ByetHost because of its access, although it still has the same problems with filemanager.ai) or even HelioHost (which has its own file explorer and therefore doesn't have those problems, although its performance with PHP is noticeably lower than the two mentioned) for free hosting

Ganz komischer Anbieter. Ich habe das kostenlose hosting versucht einzurichten dann wurde es 3 Tage spÀter abgelehnt weil ich meine Email Adresse nicht bestÀtigt habe, obwohl ich das gemacht habe. Der Kundendienst antwortet auch nicht und die website funktioniert auch nicht vollstÀndig.

Bad experience

Bad experience. They only want your information. The "free plan" they advertise does not exist actually. Even if you successfully register , they find a reason to cancel the "free" part , so that you are forced to go with a paid version ,even for testing.

No service given even after payment

Hello GoogieHost Team,

I have successfully paid ₹2,100 (~$25 USD) through Razorpay for the Lifetime Hosting Start Plan phone number : +91 9515004433 .

After completing the payment, your website threw a 500 Internal Server Error related to send-mail route on the order confirmation page.

No confirmation email, no service activation, and no invoice has been received yet.

I have attached a screenshot of the error and also shared Razorpay payment reference.

Kindly activate my hosting or confirm the status of the order immediately.

Beware: GoogieHost Took My Money, Gave Me Months of Headaches

I signed up in February of 2025 for their free hosting. I was then told I needed to move a domain to them or purchase one to use the free hosting. So I moved a domain (and paid for that service). Nearly six months ago, and I'm still waiting for it to propagate. Despite repeated inquiries, the DNS was never properly set up—even though they claim to host it. What’s worse, the information on their website is misleading at best and fraudulent at worst. Support responses were vague, inconsistent, and in many cases, simply nonexistent.
This isn’t just bad service—it’s unacceptable. They've cost me valuable time, disrupted my business, and ignored accountability. If you're considering GoogieHost, think twice. I’ve filed a formal complaint with the Ministry of Electronics & IT in India and notified key agencies in the U.S. as well.
GoogieHost needs to be held accountable for deceptive practices and failure to deliver paid services. Have screen shots to support all the support tickets from February 2025 to today.

A delay of several months is not directly related to propagation. In such cases, it may be due to incomplete domain transfer, incorrect nameserver configuration, or the domain not being properly pointed to our servers.

If you purchased or transferred the domain, please share your domain name and order details with our support team so we can thoroughly investigate the issue. If there has been any misconfiguration on our end, we will review and correct it.

Ich habe heute "kostenlose Webhosting" bestellt, 1€ wurde bereits per Kreditkarte abgebucht, (in der Werbung stand "keine Kreditkarte erforderlich, nur fÃŒr die Kontoeröffnung") ich habe leider keine versprochene BestÀtigungsemail erhalten, keine Info wo ich was hochladen kann. Allerdings hat man dann versucht, die Kreditkarte eine Woche spÀter mit 39,95 € zu belasten Es wurde groß geworben, alles kostenlos, keine versteckten Kosten. Im Kleingedruckten habe ich dann gelesen, kostenlos bezieht sich nur auf die ersten 3 Tage, danach 39,95 € pro Monat. Das ist irrefÃŒhrende Werbung, Verbraucher TÀuschung.
Auf e-mails wurde nicht reagiert.

My free account was unexpectedly blocked, for no good reason. I found the GoogieHost website cluttered with ads and not very user-friendly. Ultimately, I decided to use a different, more reliable, paid hosting service.
